I also don't like the narrative DDL's pushing about Wilgy being the best lynch cus he 'doesn't deserve to be alive on day 5' or whatever and is otherwise hard to remove from the game. like... I think there are definitely valid reasons to want Wilgy lynched but I don't think his reasons are any of them.

it's possible the mafia has a secret block or misdirect ability. I'd assumed their secrets abilities would be passives or one shots or other things that aren't already duplicates of role powers they could have drafted. but even if they have a secret block of some kind there's too many players with pro town abilities who failed their actions last night, even if we account for the mafia having a secret block.

that said.... this is starting to feel like a dead end.

It's important to note that cbob claimed to redirect quin, if quin killed someone last night he legitimately might not know about it.

but even if that is what happened I don't think we should drop this line of inquiry. I agree there are definitely still contradictions regarding the blocks and misdirects and I think there are too many scummy block and misdirect choices for them to all be from misguided or misdirected civs. We still don't know who Nutella or iron dwarf's targets were

my power being misdirected would only cause a fail if I ended up targeting Wilgy the pirate and even then it's possible my power would reverse his and make him easier to hit than more difficult. of the blockers that were active last night, there's Mac, who was civ and vocally townread me, then there's colonialbob who claims to have misdirected quin last night, and iron dwarf who, as of last phase, claimed he's never targeted me.

unless I'm missing something, there seems to be a contradiction in these claims
