I meant the part where you asked if 72 hours separate Tuesday and Sunday.

I thought Day 1 started yesterday. We've been in day 0 so long that it might as well have. Saturday - Tuesday would be 72 hours.

Does this seem like a really important focal point to you?

This is the only game I have ever played where everyone knows everyone's roles from the get-go. I really think this will be a factor in the Mafia's kill choices. Like, killing info roles and such.

there's a few info roles, shaman is the only role that can reveal secrets, wyvern knight too. Either of those roles would probably be a threat to the mafia, assuming they aren't held by the mafia. Thieves, the monk, and the pegasi stand out as well.

However, we also have a jailkeeper, 3 bodyguards, and two doctors, 2 full time power redirectors, 3 part time bus drivers, at least two role blockers, and a jack of all trades that can do 3 of the previously mentioned things, as well as 2 of whatever the technical-mafia term for whatever my role does and all of those things have the ability to double target.

some of those things might not actually be in our control, cus mafiadrafts, but I think overall if everyone's smart with their night targets we can at the very least make it difficult for the mafia to kill who they want to.

That said.... If any role were likely to have badguyia background homeland, it would make sense that it would be the shaman. shaman are almost always recruited in enemy territory during later chapters

I have no idea what this is, for the record. Every character has a phrase they say when if they die, and that's what this looks like to me, but I have no idea.

I'm also drawing a blank. It's not from a GBA iteration, at least.

there's at least a couple few instances of long lost blood relatives fighting on the opposite sides of a battlefield or just generally separated. I wouldn't be surprised if kite's backstory was linked to another players' in some way.

I thought gwilikers reference to his character's backstory was a joking reference to Lucius, the monk from fire emblem the blazing blade who is also the character their avatar is based on.
I don't remember if it was an in-game thing or a fandom thing but people tend to mistake him for a woman, because of his long hair and soft features.

Pretty much nothing. It suits his early play in both MK and Fiddler (civilian and mafia respectively), so we'll see how it develops. He's a suspect so long as there is no reason to give him civilian credit.

there's nothing in the language Jack used to imply that the randomly determined nationality would or wouldn't stick, just that the time it would be determined would be the time it becomes relevant, which would be either targeting by a nationality related role, or story related things. though the fact that there might be story relevance to nationality might imply permanence?

I tend to play more passively early on. My early game skills aren't really that great. I tend to listen and follow along and ask questions and point things out, as well as review players that other people find suspicious to see if I agree. I don't really start getting shit done til like.... Day 2 or 3.

As far as mechanics go... I do tend to get wrapped up in analyzing them. Especially when they're as cool and complicated as in this game, and even moreso when it's a game that's made from a source material that I care a lot about.

i think that's probably what rule 4 means, if every role were going to be assigned a definite homeland anyways then there'd be no real purpose to not mentioning the homeland in the actual background itself

i live in a mysterious forest as a hermit, i asked jack if i just don't have a homeland at all and he told me that my homeland was nonspecified, and that it would be determined randomly if i am ever targeted by a nationality-related role. I'd have to assume others are like that as well.
