Zephyrus why would you classify King Kong as a cryptid when every time he's presented in media he is easily found, and everyone knows about him within a few hours?

nah. people who don't want pets shouldn't force themselves to have them. It's a lot of responsibility if a person's not down to be responsible in the ways required it's just gonna result in an unhappy human and unhappy animal.

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
this is tough for me to answer because i didn't start driving til 2010 and I don't actually go into Seattle that often.S~V~S wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2018 9:12 pm No need to try harder; Very awesome! I knew there was a city under the city, I went on a friend guided partial tour once that started in an underground bazaar. BUT I did not know about the fire being the reason why, and I had no idea about the vigilante super hero at all!
I really love Seattle, but I will say it had the worst traffic i ever encountered (and coming from the home of the Long Island Expressway, Worlds Biggest Parking Lot, that's saying a lot). It took like an hour once to get from a hotel less than a mile away to the old Kingdome.
Has the traffic gotten better, or is it still hell?
From my experience Seattle traffic isn't that bad unless it's rush hour or the Seahawks are playing in which case it's better not to drive at all. One time I left my sister's place around the end of a football game and ended up waiting in traffic for like... 2.5 hours.
Parking is not great, which is basically expected of any big city. A lot of the time it's just easier to bus in, or take the train, if you're just hanging out during the day.
There's also been a lot of changes in public transportation over the last 20 years so that might also be a factor? but I can't say for sure.
In general I know Seattle drivers tend to be much more polite and reasonable than in other places, and I know that tends to drive more aggressive drivers from other states crazy, even though they're in the wrong.

this non-dairy pepper jack cheese I found at my local natural food market <3
he says he's good. he wants me to ask you how you're doing as well?how is your cat doing?
i think the beauty of sandwiches is that their true definition cannot be perceived by more mortals such as you and i.
hmmm this is tough since you've been here before...
did you know that at some point the whole city burned down (back when buildings were all made out of very flammable wood for some reason) and instead of rebuilding it they just built on top of it? there's a whole extra city underneath Seattle that's just like.... empty. They use it for tours mostly.
did you know Seattle has a legit real life vigilante vigilante super
hero ? and it's just like.... a regular thing that people are used to.
I gave you two in the hopes that at least one of them is new information... If you already knew both then I apologise and I will try harder.
Well.... I can only name like... 3 Oregonian cities.... Portland is great, if I couldn't live here I'd want to live there.

because i met someone on there and fell in love or whatever. she felt weird about hanging out on there anymore cus the other LPers were the only ones who knew how much older than me she was cus I was 17 and she was 26 and it was like this whole thing I guess. Anyways, I ended up coming back on my own later on only to discover the forum was basically dead and everyone had moved on to revolution mafia.

technically speaking my last time logging into LP was during this question, but I know that's not what you're asking

I try not to idealize people in general, but I've never met a single person who didn't have at least one admirable quality that I wish I had. so like..... kind of everyone?Who is your hero?
of what?Chocolate or vanilla?
I don't believe this is an either or question. sometimes I'm in a chocolate mood, sometimes I'm in a vanilla mood. I'll usually pick a third option if it's available.
What is your favorite restaurant?

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
nothing is ever challenging because i'm very good

hmmm realistically...... Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3 was maybe the only game I put real effort into because I knew exactly how difficult it was going to be to scoop out a win, and it was my first game back.
I had a lot of fun playing ermac in Mortal Kombat. trying to keep specific players alive made me look at the game differently than usual so it was exciting, as was getting to shape the outcome of the game. I was never in a position to get people to buy my vote with dog pictures and I probably never will be again (but you can bet I'll try)most fun?
maybe this is cus it's still fresh but in a 2 day period I... Okay, I was getting flack in lord of the rings mafia but nothing serious. Pretty manageable. I ended up in a 3 way tie and got lynched because I took a nap and forgot to vote. At basically the same exact time in Buffy, my mason buddy speedchuck was in dire shit, and I ended up inadvertently revealing myself and him as the civ mason vig pair, speedchuck got lynched anyways and he survived, which neither of us thought would happen cus we thought his bullet-proofness only applied to kills... so none of if was ever necessary at all.most epic fail / loss?

i don't think humans are inherently anything. i think the world we live in makes it easier for people to hurt others after they've been hurt themselves. the world gets better when people help each other. Are human being inherently good, evil, or something else?

both wrong

the lie was art club. i didn't gain an interest in art until i was an adult, and even then i never joined a club for it, though I wish I had cus I actually enjoy drawing and painting a lot.
my dad and my best friend's mom ran the science club at my elementary school so i ended up being involved by default, it was a good time though.
and i played baseball up until 6th grade despite pretty much hating it and being really bad at it. it was just kind of one of those things I guess.

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
it's not a cop out answer.... every other state has unpleasant weather extremes, like blizzards and hurricanes and stuff. in the PNW we have rain year round and beautiful trees everywhere, we don't get a lot of sun but that's okay because the only dangerous natural events we get here are earthquakes and the occasional volcanic eruptions that almost never happen. It's like legitimately the best part of the United States to live in, unless you don't like the rain.
but... if you're forcing me to pick a non Pacific Northwest state then I guess..... California? But even then I'm thinking like "probably the northern part of California"

i also own a button up shirt that's covered in cats, that Tommy Wiseau wears in his famous memorial day video but it doesn't fit me so i let my skeleton wear it instead. This is the video:

I guess agnostic is pretty close? I pretty much believe in doing whatever I can to make the planet we live on a better place to live for everyone. Up to 120 years on this dumb soggy rock is all we're gauranteed and even that is questionable. If I do my best to make the world better and end up getting eternally tortured for my efforts because I believed in the wrong thing... I don't think I'd really regret it.

a bunch of vegan mac and cheez, a handful of bad horror movie dvds, maybe some wine, 6 blankets, and also all of our cats are there. maybe there's weed involved somehow. there's no plan to leave the apartment but me and my hypothetical s/o probably dress up anyways. halfway through all of this we probably decide to leave and go to a park to feed ducks, since i always have birdseed on hand.

I'm gonna be honest here, if I'm ever in a position where I'm about to have a child and I'm the one with the most sway on what our child should be named then me and that other person should probably not be having a child together. I can't even decide on RPG character's names, let alone names for actual humans.
maybe..... something like Klein for a boy, and Amelia for a girl. They wouldn't have to know that they were named after fire emblem characters.
that's impossible to answer because the date would be tailored around their interests and hobbies and maybe something cute related to how we'd met.if you had a s/o right now, plan for me the perfect Valentine's Day date in your opinion.

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
it was so good!!!! like there we obvious flaws of course, but most of the flaws ended up being kind of charming, like the horrendously bad voice acting for Aunt May. The biggest flaw was that the random crimes that happen while you're roaming around are dependent on how many story missions you've completed. If you beat Mysterio you can't fight aliens any more, if you beat the shocker then you can't fight the shocker goons any more. so if you beat the game the only crimes that you can stop are street level goons and those tanky exo suit things with rockets and machine guns which I think also disappear at some point?ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 4:07 pmI love the Spider-Man 2 game! Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
uh... well it's a pretty predictable story. I'd just gotten out of this really unhealthy relationship that basically prevented me from making any real friends, so I was kind of in a space in my life where I really needed to fill that void. In my figure drawing class I made a friend with this really talented artist girl who was super nice and she ended up talking about hobbies and she mentioned improv club and that I should come join it. I did, and for a while I didn't really participate, but she convinced me to try sometimes and I ended up being pretty good, and even got to participate in most of the shows. we dated later on, and then a little later than that we stopped dating. that's the summary version of it anyways.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 5:12 am How did you decide to join that improv group? I mean a loner kid who doesn't speak to anyone doesn't usually just up and decide to put themselves in a public speaking position like that without some kind of catalyst. What led you there?
I always liked Charlie a lot. As far as the finale goes..... Um...... well at the time I thought it was alright. It effectively completed the story in a way that made it so I didn't want to watch any more of it, but in a good way I guess? Looking back now, I'm not all that pleased with some of the choices they made, especially regarding which characters died in that season.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2018 12:00 pm Kylemii, who was your favorite character on Lost? i would want to eat dinner with guy fieri and id want to go to a bad resturaunt on purpose. like a really bad restaurant. an offensively bad resturaunt, where the food is so bad it would overpowered Guy's ability to emote about how good it is like he does on tv. I think it would make for a good story. If you could eat dinner with anybody living or dead, who would it be and what would you want to talk about?
I'm not really picky... I like modern music but I like some old stuff that I can use for my own music learning. I like electro swing.
I saw lady gaga in concert in 2010, and The Brian Setzer Orchestra about a month ago. Other than that I've seen a few um... idk what the genre is called. it's the kind of bands where they look and sound like they're angry at their dads. I've seen a few of those in bars in seattle. Brian Setzer was probably my favorite experience of those.Have you been to any concerts? If so, what was (were) your favorite(s)?
mmmm NES, GameCube, Wii, and also every single Nintendo handheld. What video game consoles have you owned?
I say this with 100% knowledge that it's just nostalgia blindness but.... Spiderman 2 for the GameCube. Being able to swing around the entire city of new york was an amazing thing back in whatever year it came out. Open world games were basically a brand new invention and being able to BE Spiderman and do whatever you wanted (as long as it was swinging or punching) was amazing. What's your favorite video game of all-time?
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 also gave me an amazing experience that I've never found a replacement for. I've replayed the game so many times, nothing else ever comes close to it.
it is both.

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
I'm alright I guess. How are you?
hmmmmmmmmm that's difficult because i don't really take pride in much....what accomplishments are you most proud of in your life?
i guess something im proud of was that I was able to go from being a loner college kid who didn't speak to anyone to an active member of an improv comedy troupe who performed in multiple shows and won club awards . the skills and confidence i learned from that experience altered a lot about who I am as a person.

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
EBOWP
other than some scattered anime, those are the only 3 shows i'm really able to keep caught up on, i'm like a whole season behind on the walking dead
idk, this is a difficult question. i'm fairly limited in the music i consume in the first place so i have a fair amount of control over what i listen to. if i don't like a song, i'll just.... not listen to it. there's no time to develop feelings like hate.
well.... ok i wouldn't call it hate but.... i used to work at a thrift store, and there'd be music playing in the background all the time, and most of the time it was just common bullshit you can just sorta tune out, except for the song "Try Everything" sung by Shakira from the Disney movie Zootopia. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song but once you hear it once a day every day for several months it..... it wears you down. Now any time i watch Zootopia whenever it gets to a scene where that song plays the i have like... a visceral response to it, and it kinda ruins those scenes. i don't really hate the song itself though.
mmmmmm it's' hard to say cus a lot of the games from the past sorta blend together in my mind. there was a marvel + dc game that i enjoyed. i think it was hosted by LT and Dex.... also the Halloween game hosted by LT was one of my favorites just because of the sheer power of my role as the big bad wolf, and the fact that it was my first ever indy victory
mmmm that's tough..... this might be because it's recent but leveraging my indie swing vote to get everyone to draw dogs during a mylo scenario so i'd vote the way of the best dog drawer may have been up there. it was funny cus it actually worked and like 5 people drew dogs.2. Funniest mafia memory?
i know this is pretty weak because i replaced into the game 2/3 of the way in, but ensuring that my team would be capable of winning chicka chicka actually took a lot of effort, and i was really happy that we could make it happen. there was also some special significance since it was my first win since returning.3. What win are you most proud of?
right now i really like The Good Place.... and Brooklyn 99..... and.... Last Man on Earth4. Favorite TV show at the moment?

i don't listen to "songs" the only music i need is the sweet songs of birds chirping in the wilderness.5. What song do you absolutely HATE?

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
i would say in order, i like playing 3p the best, then town, and mafia slightly less. i don't dislike playing mafia but i enjoy figuring things out slightly more than i enjoy lying and manipulating, but i also like being mafia cus it's a pretty good way to make friends with people you don't know yet.
idk. i like weird games. i naturally prefer open setup role madness cus that's what i was raised on, but then closed setup games are like.... "hey? what's in there? who knows!" i like that. i like playing games that provide unique experiences so unique mechanics are always nice. i don't think i'm all that fond of heists, but that might just be because i'm bad at mafia. What is your ideal type of mafia setup? (open, closed, role madness, etc.)
succeed in my job interview tomorrow, and my vet clinic volunteer interview on saturday, get the experience needed to be eligible to apply for vet technical school, (as well as the money) and then do that. What is a personal short term goal of yours?

it's alright. my older sister tried to get my parents to name me Ferdinand and i'm a little mad that they didn't let her get her way cus that would have been pretty rad.... Kyle is alright i guess. How does it feel to have the best first name in existence?

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
hmmmm..... i make fun of sports a lot. i like watching women's soccer with one of my closer friends. if i'm alone i'll never watch sports, but watching sports with people who genuinely enjoy it and understand the lore and don't make liking sports into some kind of weird fucking masculinity contest is actually pretty okay.
uhhhh red or blue, depending on who's asking and how i feel at the time..... maybe green.2) What is your favorite color?
it would be cool to visit japan maybe and then.... idk. ireland? denmark? grand canyon? idk. there's a lot of stuff out there that would be cool to see, but idk if i'm the kind of person who needs to see it all. i really like where i live. i guess.... this isn't really an answer to your question exactly but i think it would be cool to just get in a car and drive around the states and visit all the shitty "world's biggest ball of rubber bands" things. i don't even care what the destination would be, i just think the journey itself would be cool.3) Name three places you want to travel to before you die.
mmm...no. well.... maybe. it could be a worse. i've never been unsafe, i've never been at risk of dying because of living conditions. but things could always be better, ya dig.4) Are you content with your life at this moment?
i hope so, and i hope they're better off than we are, the universe deserves to have something nice.5) Do you believe intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe?
mmmmm well as mentioned... i am okay at music, and honestly pretty okay at improvisational acting. i speak a little japanese, i can type 55 words per minute and i'm proficient in microsoft office as well as adobe creative suiite, i can cook eggs over-easy with nearly a 70% success rate. i can go to a house party and only hang out with the owner's pets without making things weird, that's probably my strongest skill.6) Do you have any special skills?

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
obviously i missed you. how've you been? I heard you have a kid now????
kylemii
ummmm well it's pretty stupid actually. I was 17 when I made kylemii my username. Previously I'd never really been very creative with naming things... My name on maplestory was my whole name squished together in a way that sorta sounded like kimchi, and everyone always asked me if I loved Korean food, even though I'd never even heard of kimchi
anyways, i joined lostpedia and was ready for rebranding, I bought a Wii like a week earlier and it was my biggest time sink so I named myself "Kylemii" after the little avatar guys from the nintendos and it kinda sounded like "Mikhail", like the guy from Lost. I don't think I put that much thought into it, but I've still kept it across all these websites so people would remember who I am.

Re: Interrogation Room - Kylemii
then i guess you learned 5 things about me

i started playing mafia because..... well...... i don't remember exactly. i spent a lot of my time on lostpedia forums, and eventually got sucked into the offtopic shenanigans, especially the dinasaur hed shit. i'd also waste a lot of time doing the wordgames and things... i'm pretty sure i heard about mafia through my involvement with the dinasaur hed cult thing, and it piqued my curiosity, especially since there was a Lost themed game. i don't actually remember if i signed up on my own or if i was specifically asked by someone to sign up. my first game was a mess and i basically outed myself as mafia almost immediately by asking how btsc worked. i guess i still enjoyed it though cus i kept playing.When/how did you start playing mafia? What got you into it?
maybe, but only if you and everyone else unanimously agree set your expectations low.I know you play the ukulele and are learning the guitar. Would you be willing to record something with the ukulele on Vocaroo to share with us?
