How acceptable - because... to me this matters very much. If you believe SVS killed you today, I also think MM is the right choice for a lynch.

And that also means... that I think tranq was right all along, and the trickster could fool us even in voting for them on the poll.
Unless Tranq is lying...and I guess it's possible he killed me and then ran away. I know when I set the beacon off I was very specific about order of operations. Others could be as well. This was exactly the kind of answer I would expect from a civvie though. Well thought out and rational. Baddie Tranq is very capable of pulling off this tone but as it happens I already found SVS more suspicious of the two.

MM could be another contender for the killer. So I wouldn't put some SVS connection out of the question. I actually have to reread all this MM stuff. I'm the worst with roles. I have an idea for a role/affiliation based on the thread, but idk which one it is because I can't keep the names straight.

its my husbands birthday today so not sure how much I will be around will try to get a better grips on MM later

Also, it's very clear TH has given up as well. I'm voting th, although I wish I could return the vote Timmer ;) :fist:

:rip: Matt - a combination of site issues/falling asleep lead me to miss the vote. Sorry hosts and players.

Sorsha - I think it's a little strange/suspicious that you seem to think pointing out to Golden someone may be fooling him should make you immune from suspicion. He can be pretty paranoid anyways, and it's a pretty natural assumption to make so not sure why you should have civvie credit for suspecting it.
It just sounds like you are upset he isn't trusting you anymore. He seems to trust me fine still so your point "he isn't trusting anyone" isn't true.

Of course I'm serious. Maybe I'm not taken seriously, but I am serious.

Do you also believe the Spirit Oracle is phony? Do you also believe that I'm just making up on the fly my quest to save the Living Statueu? I've been doin' some hard work, people.

The rest of you are content to hide in the shadows and not reveal what you've learned. Guess what. To this second, I still have not received a reprimand for discussing what I've found on the map or revealed in the thread. At this point, I'm thinking as long as specific coordinates are not involved and talking about btsc chat, then you're good to go. Who else has been forthcoming with their knowledge? Oh I forgot the cool kids table has a super secret civvie plan that has already ended up with one civ lynched and if I'm lynched, that'll be 2 for 2.

C'mon peeps, for real? We need a town win and if you can just give me a few more days, I really believe we'll be that much closer. I don't know about Dom or Turnip, but IMO, what I have stumbled upon is probably more essential to a civ win then what either of them have to offer, civ or not.

Again, I can't make this up! Do you all really think I'm this creative? By golly, thanks for thinkin' I'm so smart, but I'm just bein' an open book as to what this game has put me through!
...doesn't sit well to me. You mention "civ or not" so you don't think either are bad, but would rather see them lynched because of some super secret side mission that is more important to a civvie win then lynching baddies.

Also, I know feel like your "poor me, I'm not included" doesn't seem genuine anymore, because you have a shit ton more secret knowledge then I have.

"Don't lynch me. Just wait a few days." K the game will probably be over if we wait though.

fingersplints wrote:I think we need to look into other players than those three, so I don't think it is sidetracking.

I voted those three and Dom, because I feel least civvie about Dom outside of three still. I still feel that Golden is still likely a civvie, just wrong like a bunch of us about bass. I've been playing with Golden since his first Mafia game, and he can't fake that tone. I am more paranoid I am wrong about SVS with each passing day, but not enough to abandon that trust. And I still feel ok about MM. Sorsha is also still on my ok list from golden's vouch, but I have to also consider she could be the one he is wrong about.

I don't find suspects based on what team they might be on. I find suspects by what thread actions I find suspicious. I rarely pay attention to "this person is on this team". It's just not how I play.

Also I don't for sure think you are a baddie. But by my process of elimination you are least civvie seeming from what is left. If I had more then 4 options I would have also voted for Lorab, Tranq, and Draconus as I want to revisit all of them too. I'm not a big fan of limiting poll options too much.

I don't know. I just know throughout the years, I've heard that about him. And I know I'm one, too.

Honestly, I'm not really so sure about Golden. I've known him to be civ and get me wrong plenty of times.

But what do you think of SVS telling me I'm hurting the spirit of the game with outside the thread info, but defending Golden when he does it?

Oh, and Dom, Dom is either bad baddie or so unbelievable wrong about me it hurts. It really hurts, Dom. I thought we'd be besties. :(
I think SVS was being unnecessarily defensive over it given he had been clearly talking about map btsc. (Btw it wasn't that post. as I said it was the one where he went on about how he had traveled with Sorsha the entire game. That is without a doubt map btsc) I don't know what to make of that tbh. I had been thinking SVS was a civvie most of the game, but that post seems strange to me.

Here is the unfortunate thing though. Now I have thoughts based off Goldens comments on his map btsc, but I can't comment/question with staying in the rules. I agree with holding back information in some cases and this is pretty much why.

I still don't trust you either, and think your posts have been suspicious, but this one in particular is giving me pause.

SVS - I did point out that bass said that he trusted you, but not because I suspect you for it. I found it is worth noting though for the reason you mentioned - he could be buddying up to you. As you said, it's something he has done when bad, so that combined with all the other reasons why I think he is bad. If he could express such trust of you, how come he doesn't have any suspects? It doesn't add up. And again, I know he is busy. I don't need him to have reads on everyone, but anything more.

If he is bad as I suspect and does have teammates left, I'd of course have to consider the possibility of you being bad. but even so, I'd still think buddying was more likely. at this point I have no reason to think you are and was still leaning civvie on you.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 9

Repeating I am lying does not make it true. I'm not sure what I was supposed to make off the tone of your posts like this one if it wasn't you suspect me.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 9

Because you don't say "you are my suspect" doesn't mean you can't indicate suspicion. I'm not lying or rewriting anything. Everyone can read the posts for themselves. I think it is absolute BS for you to say you weren't suspicious of me until day 8 though.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 5

How is it not true? This I literally your first mention/interaction with me:

I was looking forward to discussing Dom with you more before you were killed. I had reread him some from other games and I became less confident about him being a civvie. That suspicion seems to have dropped off anyways
Now I don't get the same feeling about you having good intetnions. I wouldn't say I suspect you yet. Hopefully the results of this lynch will help me decide about a few people. :)
This reads rather contrived to me.

What games didyou read?

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 9

I'm not playing the victim. This just isn't productive. You have been on my ass since the second I said I wasn't so sure you were a civvie anymore. I never said I was surprised. Perhaps you should stop putting words in my mouth.

Alright Dom. Because that is what I said. There's no talking to you. No matter what I say you are going to find some way to call it suspicious.

I'm probably voting Bass. I feel alright about the Wilgy vote though. like I said this seems more like his baddie game vs what I saw when I hosted him. I was hoping to reread the game this reminds me most of (90's Mafia on jtm) but haven't had a chance to, and seems it probably won't be necessary at this point.

What?
If Wilgy doesn't flip the way I think he will-- you might be my next vote.

"Wilgy is probably bad, but I won't vote there."
Why?
To avoid having responsibility for his death.

IDK highly contingent on Wilgy's allignment, but this post stank to me.
Umm except I did vote him before you gave me the eye, and already explained why I was reluctant to vote for him.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 9

I really don't get what is that many :eye: worthy. Wilgy is already getting lynched. It seems unnecessary to track down and read entire games at this point.
