And I would argue that he didn't really info dump because the information was pretty ambiguous, and may or may not have been true.

@LC: How did you know I had tried to kill you?
Yes, as Rox said, I got that info too. Hence the more than a feeling video :) Had I survived I would have not trusted LC as much since I found it a bit weird he put together that it was some sort of hint, but didn't say anything about it after I was died and revealed to be that role. :p

Re: Night 7 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I don't have the greatest feeling about her either. I still don't like her comment about Enrique being bad half the time (again why specifically half?) Maybe I am reading too much into it, or maybe it's that I feel she is the most likely to recruit Enrique, but her just disappearing like this makes me believe she is just lying low now and letting the civvies go at each other.

maybe she was silenced too? haha

Re: Night 7 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I could get on board with a Mongoose lynch as well. I just feel a bit stronger about bullz at this point.
(if I make it through the night)

Something I have been meaning to mention but keep forgetting, Keterman was NK'd right after calling out juliets. Do we think it's more likely someone was setting it up to look like her or that she actually did it?

linki - I agreed with you Bullz as you quoted me doing. iirc YOU presented the "it's weird such a low poster was targeted idea" in my mind because as you so helpfully pointed out people would associate you with cursing high posters.

Well potentially Mongoose and I can't remember the other I thought may have been atm (maybe Ketterman? idk). I replaced in so my notes are incomplete, which is why I already asked for help with this. Since no one responded it will have to wait until I am able to go through the thread again and compile this information. It won't be today (wed) that's for sure. I might have time tomorrow but idk yet

I will get back to you, and I do still want to discuss other people. I just have to get ready and set off to do stuff. Not sure how often I'll be able to get wifi today to check in

Re: Night 7 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I did think it was weird, but I have since reconsidered. i'm not going to pretend to be a Boogs expert, but he was lynched in the Hobbit for lying about a curse specifically. (You had btsc with him that game I think so you should remember it well)
Maybe someone who knows him better (other than bullz) can answer me if he seems like that kind of risk taking player that would immediately try it again? Because no offense to him, he doesn't seem like that player to me.

linki - While a game where you silenced high posters is good, I'm not accusing you of having a silencing role. Cursing (choosing any posting restriction) is very different than just being able to silence someone.

Re: Night 7 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

To be fair, Boogs has also made it incredibly likely he will die soon as well. He has painted a large target on his back. As much attention as he is getting, baddies won't want to keep a possible info role in the game.

And I think Boogs is telling the truth. I have already pointed out that I think the curse maker is likely to be able to choose the curse based on the variety we have seen. Which you tried to discredit him by saying that we hadn't seen that curse before. In retrospect, you were one of the ones who pushed that it was weird such a low poster was cursed in the first place. Therefore, I think you knew he was cursed since your team probably did the cursing.

I would expect a civvie to be mad too, but your tone and responses don't read to me like a mad civvie.

I do not feel strongly about you, so I think you are just on a watch list atm for me. :)
Fair enough. I haven't played with you in ages and honestly don't really remember much about your style so I can promise I wasn't trying to set you up at all. When Enrique's role was first revealed I remembered someone had said something about a recruit but I remembered it sounding more nefarious (in hindsight) than your comment so I went back to check what it was. I found yours and just thought "Ha, what a funny coincidence" but knew that if I were bad and had made a comment like that, and then someone pointed it out, I would get really defensive. So I brought it up partly just to say I found it funny but with the intent that if you'd gotten defensive or been awkward in your response I'd have had someone new to suspect. As it happens you've yet to give me a reason to find you suspicious.
^ Here he promises he wasn't trying to set me up because he doesn't remember how I play well enough. My point being he specifically wouldn't have to remember me play style well enough, just have a teammate who does. It just read to me at the time, and especially now, like trying to bait me to overreact, without stirring the pot too much. I'd look super suspicious and he didn't do anything.

bullz, I will get to you later ( your last response to me) It's late for you anyways and I have two Boardwalk Empires to catch up on. :)

Yes that's right. Based on the number of baddie spots I have in mind for a Rox game of this size, and that you two seemed on opposite sides of everything, I had it as either you were bad or him. (I could be wrong, but I don't believe either of you would have had much reason to recruit Enrique.)

I need to do some reevaluating, but I truly believe you are the best spot to look. Based on my earlier feeling that you may have been setting me up with your comment, I think one of your teammates knows me better than you do. I'm thinking Bea. :ponder:
Enrique wouldn't be the first person I'd try to recruit. I can't comment on your maths because I have no idea but there are other people I've not interacted with much if at all who are still alive so if (since) I'm not bad, are they? I've forgotten what you mean by setting you up, if you ever mentioned it in thread.
I did and you said something like you don't even remember how I play. I'll find it later if you'd like.

Obviously there are other people besides you who are bad. I'm interested in finding all of them. You and Boogs attacks against each other make it seem like both of you are only interested in getting the other out. That doesn't seem very civvie to me. Why don't you humor us a little and lets discuss people other than Boogs? I still believe there to be two teams so I will take what you say into consideration.

I don't think anyone was in such immediate, inevitable danger that this kind of hail Mary would be necessary.
But he WAS taking attention with the smileys and his unusual silence. I suppose you mean he's not taking lynch attention on himself this round so far?

I'd like to believe that he's telling the truth, but people are making good points about why this sort of "info dropping" is being allowed (e.g., a curse). But then again, as others have said, why Boogs? And why twice? Which is the more logical - that the same quiet person is cursed twice by two different people, or that Boogs is actually in his right mind this round and has a genuinely good reason to suspect Bullz? Or just in his right mind and suspects Bullz without a genuinely good reason?

Yeah, that's not exactly pinpointing anything, but it's helping me get my thoughts out, and perhaps someone could bounce ideas off with me?
Well, I was thinking of something that might be just the opposite - what if boogs was pretending to be cursed yesterday and today is really cursed. The thing I keep coming back to though is what Long Con said and that's why would anyone curse boogs to begin with.

Maybe I should move away from boogs and ask if anyone has seen anything about bullz that looks baddie? I haven't seen anything.
I am undecided on bullz. Leaning civ, but if I am wrong about llama than I will reconsider that. (and my distrust of Boogs :) )

Re: Day 7 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Juliets - yes I would think he is forced or would be punished. It's all a bit weird though. As bullz pointed out, why would someone curse a player who is barely posting? Let alone twice in a row? That is assuming there are two cursers (I'm operating under the assumption double targeting isn't allowed here.) I haven't been cursed at all, nor have a bunch of the alive players, so it really seems weird one of the quieter ones would continuously be targeted. It doesn't add up.

I'm beginning to feel like this is like the SVS vs Made lynch but worse for me. LC and llama have both been compelling, but I feel like I trust LC more. All of this reminds me of a civvie LC. (Actually it reminds me specifically of a game, I can't remember which, where a baddie splints thought it would be fun to try and instigate a quieter LC, and instantly regretted it haha)
Unfortunately for llama, my opinion on several other players depends on me finding out his affiliation.

mine is the same juliets. My only concern about llama is that Mongoose, I believe, is friends with llama and am worried she took advantage of that and the suspicion on him to buddy up to him in thread. (I don't mean that at all malicious since "take advantage" can sound that way. I'll be the first to admit as a baddie I always find a civvie ally in the thread to try and stick with) Signs are pointing to teammates, but that is just my one concern atm.

Plus, we don't know if the curser is a civvie or baddie role, so her being targeted doesn't really change my feeling on her behavior.

Has anyone been keeping track of all these forced votes/posting restrictions? Boogs has only posted a couple smilies today and I'm just interested how that falls in line with the past ones claimed. (Sorry Boogs, not sure I trust your being cursed after you cursed yourself then lied about it in the Hobbit :) )

I can try and go back and look but if anyone has anything documented already it would be a big help

Ha ha, I remember when your avatar at Hedville was a picture of Rabbit wearing a tiara. Good times :D He has not been around in a while, he was a monstrous pain in the ass at times, but his awesome outweighed it.
I remember that was when I first joined Hedville and you or Bea said I was going to have some competion for rabbit battles with diggz and PGH. I knew I had to do something big to make my entrance and I found that picture of him in the pictures thread. It was just too perfect to pass up. :D good times!

Except the opposite because Canuck's not on the poll.

I haven't been getting the civviest feelings from Mongoose's posts, but my real problem is llama. I have been pretty sure he is civ, but reevaluating if I am super off. People said Mongooses defense of him was strange and possibly forced, but I haven't seen a forced defense before. I do remember in Supernatural being forced to do the opposite and make a case on Tranq. Juliets were you the trickster role in that game? Have others seen roles with forced defense before?
I'm trying to remember which game it was (or games for that matter) but I've definitely seen people be forced to post a lot of ways. It could be we are looking at it wrong and that she wasn't forced to defend llama but only just forced to talk about only him - I have seen that before. (or could be llama has that role and is making up the restrictions and wanted some help in the defense department)

My problem is her posting already seems off today, so if she was restricted in some way the last day period she can't be again today (unless the hosts allow double targeting.)

Re: Day 6 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I'm with you on this one LC. I don't get how she is only "pretty sure" that's where she was going. Wouldn't she know what she was getting at? I'll wait for Mongoose to try and explain more but this doesn't make me feel good about her.
