Ok, well it's still a baddie role. I imagine Timmer will say he's not that role either. I can't shake the feeling that is was Timmer that mind controlled me. He was the only player that would advantage out of this particular mind control.

And my push against Bass 1.0 should show that I am not a New Rogue.
Ok Timmer,I can be open to new thoughts today. I have slept on it. Maybe you're being framed. The nature of my mind control seemed to play right into your theories last day. When I received the mind control I watched the thread to see who was picking up on things and which player seemed to benefit from what I was saying. If it was not you then who might want to frame you? There were other aspects to it that seemed to point right at you. I also found it interesting that I was one of the two people that voted you the day before and I was suspecting you, all of a sudden I had to switch gears away from you. I am trying to be vague about this as I'm not sure what I can say about the mind control.

I can see which way this game is turning. Frankly, my team is decimated, if Bass is right about his thoughts about Roxy. Capt. Cold already had two NKs which means I've got just one friend left if that's who Roxy was. So I'll hold my vote to see if I can do anything with it, but this is the New Rogues' game at this point, it's obvious, and I haven't got enough leads to try to fight. You'll see I was civ in post-game. I'm not sure what else to say. :noble:
I understand why you are claiming that but I find it hard to believe. Unless someone can give me a better explanation on who is mind controlling I shall continue to believe you are Grodd. All the evidence I have from night stuff points to you being Grodd.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Night 4)

timmer wrote:@LC, here's my defence.

While you had first brought up the idea that Bass 1.0's posts were pingy, I jumped all over that EARLY with my conspiracy theory about him being Double Down. It wasn't at a time when Bass was a sure lynch or anything, I brought that up early. So if I were a New Rogue, would I torpedo a teammate like that, that early? Some people, like Dom let's say, go after teammates all of the time. We know this. Anyone who has been my baddie buddy knows that I only turn on a teammate when I feel like the writing is on the wall. This was not that case, so let's face it, I'm not a new Rogue.

So that leaves one lone role that anyone should even care about me being, and that is Grodd. (unless someone is a New Rogue, of course). Correct me if I'm wrong, but Grodd hasn't killed since Night 1, so I'd guess he's not around, or inactive.

Apart from that, I've just got to say that I can't believe SVS is bringing up Epig's idea from Day 0 to try to make a case on me. Like, really? I don't think you're bad SVS, I've got ideas on your role, but I think you WANT me to be bad for whatever reason.
I find that very interesting that you say that because my leading theory is that you are Grodd. I couldn't mention this last day because I was mind controlled. I really wish someone could have helped me out with my last question...

Because this has gone unanswered I have to make my own conclusions. Because of the nature of mind control I believe you to bad and more specifically I believe you to be Grodd.

So does the fact we didn't get a baddie NK mean we killed Grodd or blocked him? What the hell does that mean? Was it an absent player?
I feel like the dumb person who doesn't get anything that's going on.

Why are people voting for TImmer?
Timmer, why does Roxy vouching for Aces necessarily makes him bad, even if she was? Couldn't it be that she was trying to look good to him just as you claim she was to you? Maybe she thought it will take her farther? I'm not saying that's the case, but I'm not seeing your explanation as set in stone.

The Bass theory seems stronger, though. I think he vouched for her in his previous version as well as in this version

linki: What people said

I feel like a dumb player as well. In fact I had to go back and read things to understand what DH was talking about.

My view on the whole vouching thing was the way Roxy approached it in the thread. It seemed like she was leading up to a vote but keeping important info out. Then all of a sudden she was convinced Aces was good. If I'm remembering correctly I do believe Aces was a lynch subject and the lynch could have swayed that way. I believe they hid behind the map BTSC to cover up their baddie BTSC. The way she led into it flipped peoples opinions of Aces. It would be a grand scheme that Roxy is capable of.

rabbit, as in every game it seems, just comes and says he suspects LC. But in this one he doesnt add anything at all almost, like i said before, he doesnt seem usual rabbit or maybe he is, but somethings off, imo.
roxy seemed weird, theres something that doesnt sit right with me when i read her posts, aces seems civvier than roxy in appearence, but their whole defense is just odd, gonna reread
the whole bf lynch was too fast and votes piling up with almost no reason, also worth noticing

i reckon im very behind but im willing to catchup and comment on everything and try to help

now gotta go eat and then sleep, but tomorrow morning ill be back
Have we considered that maybe they found each other as baddies and Roxy used the "map BTSC" as a way to vouch for each other? I just found it odd that Roxy mentioned Aces without a name as a suspect and went straight into trusting him in a manner of hours.

For the record SVS, regarding Roxy, my opinion of her was based on several things, two of which were her reluctance to talk about Aces, and her mystery BTSC partner. Had i known the two were one and the same, the situation would have looked very different earlier on. My feelings were based on her responses, but they could have been different, but once that info came out into the open, I altered course accordingly.

I may have seemed all over the place today, but it's been (hopefully) for the good.
Um, I know that. You can step away from the High Horse now. Give Whinney a carrot :)

I meant that *everyone* was all in a "Save Aces" frenzy. Aces is awesome, but he wanted me dead. That whole last few minutes was SO FUCKED UP. So yeah, I am responsible for my own vote. And your reply sounds like a massive cop out, since manipulating each other is what makes us good at this game.
Maybe I should read the thread, see this frenzy and find out why.

LC, you still haven't told me what you think of BR. Anyone else is welcome to answer this question as well. She's practically non existent.

Aces, what did you really hope to achieve by your vote yesterday? It didn't look like anyone was going to follow that. Why just waste a lynch? It's making you look pretty bad in my eyes. Also, if you already wasted a vote, why not just vote for SVS if your so convinced she's bad?

Like LC said, we are having huge internet issues. I have informed the host about this. I'm getting my brother-in-law to look at it tonight and see if we can get it fixed. It's been up and down like a toilet seat and I have ran out of data on my phone and can't afford to go over.

I am trying to keep up and will be doing better in the future, if I can't I will ask to be replaced.

Well I have time, I don't understand the case on LC at all. It seems stretchy at best. I am intrigued by the Aces/SVS thing. I kinda mildly suspect them both so I'm hoping I can do some reading into this later. I wish I had more at this point but my head hasn't been able to stay in the game much to get a good feel.

I might have to vote for Llama because I don't believe his day 0 antics were as innocent as he would like them to appear. I feel like he was trying to get something across to someone. And there seems to be seven roles that have no potential for BTSC, and four of them are ones we don't want to lynch.

I said people are taking jokes too seriously. You seemingly saw that as "BF is a baddie because he's questioning Epi" and then said "Oh, are you and Epi teammates again then?". That to me looks like a pre-emptive NO U just in case I decided to build a case against you later on. Which I still don't plan on doing, just in case you're worried.
I definitely don't think you have BTSC with Epi, because if you did he would be telling you to ramp down your defensiveness.
Get on the offensive, don't stay on the defensive. lol

MM - I did not receive my item until the end of day 0 in that game.

Right now I am mostly looking at Bullz.

Turnip Head wrote:I don't think I've ever seen Epi call Elo out this early in the game. It has my attention. She's said two words so far. Which word did you find more suspicious, Epi?
I think he was looking for attention since Llama was hogging it.

Monkey?
Nah, Epig is the host of Biblical Mafia. Obviously he doesn't believe in superintelligent monkeys, and therefore can't be one.

Hmmmm... that's something to think about. :srsnod:

I'm in no position to say whether you get it or not.

But it is a joke then?
It seems like joke. Who would seriously make a comic strip involving a guy who can run and a talking monkey? Did this run in a lot of papers? Was it nationally syndicated?
Are you just posting for the sake of it?

We can do stuff now. Namely, day 0 is a period of time we can use to get a feel for players before day 1 so were less likely to mislynch. You're not trying to hide are you? :ponder:

Regardless, welcome to our forum. Did you have a reason for voting L?

Hello friend, I don't think we've met before!

Oh, Comic nerd people, any clue what the letters might mean? How many Gems are there? 5? could that possibly be what the poll determines?
The letters spell out FLASH, you know, the name of the game. :P
Does he emit some kind of light or something? If not, his name makes no sense.
Is this some big elaborate joke I don't get?
