I doubt that Made is Hyrulian. I'm a bit torn between ninja and Snow Dog from trying to sort out Eloh's thoughts.
Ditto, As of recent i'm reading snow as more civvie, and Ninja as more off mafia-e. I think the best place to look would be to do further analysis on the night Liz died. It's the first time Ninja really stepped up, and everything about that lynch really pinged me. With MR as civvie, a BaddieBloops seems incredibly plausible more so than a snowie baddie at this point anyways...

So
1.Llama
2. Bloops
3. Snow
for me atm.

Assuming eloh has meds, day 9 will be 3-4 then 2-3 come day 10. Its just not much of a margin for error after today...but I guess we'd run into this issue as we'd have to lynch Eloh eveventually. Switching back vote.

I suspected bloops as a byproduct of my suspicion of Eloh and MR yesterday, but with MR being civ, the reasoning doesn't really stand.

At this point, and this is partially thanks to your revelation if it's true Made, I think Russti and llama are the other two baddies.

But after all this, where does Zora fit into the equation? Is that you Made?
There's multiple explanations to Russ' survival so i'm dropping that theory for now anyways. Also, the way i see it (if they're even still alive) Zola is currently an ally to us, in an enemy of our enemy is our friend sorta situation. They wouldn't want Mafia to win, as none of them have died yet, and there's only 7 or 8 of us left.

If i were Zola at this point, my goal would to first kill mafia, then when that's all said and done (or when they're only one mafia left) begin attempting to divide the group who voted together and trusted each other against each other.

So while i'm not, even if i were, we should probably cross that bridge when we get to it and focus on the task at hand.

Fair enough. Day 2, no pings. She follows votes because she doesn't like wasting hers.
Elohcin wrote:As for my vote (which I have to do now) I am going to go ahead and *vote boogs* I think Snow Dogs gut may be right.
Day 3: following Snow Dog (and was busy partying). Again, fair enough. As I said around that time, fairly standard Elo play.

So...that is where my vote will go.
Day 4. Doesn't suspect anyone, but votes the person everyone suspects. A little weird even for Elo, not to have a single ping by D4.
Elohcin wrote:I went ahead and voted for Russ. I don't have good feelings about him.
Day 5 and the first ping! Yours truly. No rationale given, except that she doesn't "have good feelings" about me.
Elohcin wrote:Also, Yay no kill.

I know I have a bad voting record. I was just thinking (at the end of the last day) that I need to stop listening to the "crowd" but it is difficult when I still feel like everyone is playing so civ-like. I have not been in a game where its Day 6 and still I have no great suspicions. It is odd. My biggest suspicion is Russ, but still not crazy convinced.
The "Yay, no kill." just drips enthusiasm, right?

Note the "everyone is playing so civ-like". Still no major suspicions, except her still unexplained one of me.
Elohcin wrote:The votes I have cast were based of suspicions that other players have brought up. I just don't see anyone as very suspicious so far. Still no reasons for any suspicions. She doesn't suspect anyone, but thinks Made, MR and I are baddie teammates. (Not MM, for the record.)

http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 593#p97593

This here is an important post. Elo has decided it is so important that she get a suspicion that she goes back and reads every single player remaining in the game!

Two very important things to note here:
Elohcin wrote:Russ - He seems to have a lot of helpful things to say. He seems to be trying and coming up with suspicions, however I am not sure that his suspicions have much weight. So, I am pinged by that.

Nothing else to say, unfortunately. Rereading each player didn't really bring about any new pings, but there you go. Maybe you will be encouraged to do your own read through and post on everyone. I know many of us are getting discouraged by lynch results.
1) She now thinks I seem pretty good again, but is pinged by me too.
2) SHE READ THE ENTIRE GAME OF PLAYERS STILL ALIVE AND HAS NO NEW PINGS AT ALL....on Day 7!!
Elohcin wrote:

Re: The Legend of Zelda (Ganon's Conquest) [Day7]

Looking at the Items available this game, assuming Eloh isn't Zola, We might of already lost this.
red ring, blue ring, and magic wand would give baddie 3 votes which is the only way I can think to explain the lynch thus far. This would Make it incredibly difficult, if not impossible to lynch Eloh and win the game.

Any other explanations that aren't as bleak?

If my above explanation of events is correct, then we might be able to kill eloh if we attempt to unanimously lynch Eloh tomorrow, and Lynch llama day 9? Tomorrow will be 3 baddie 4 civvie assuming their kill goes through AND they don't kill with a item on top of their regular kill.

thoughts?

I like an Elo Lynch, and I liked an MR lynch, but the fact that it's now between an eloh vs a MR is making me wavery. logically, if baddies are attempting a save they're not going to try to try to switch a mafia for mafia. I'm gonna have to keep my vote where it is. MR and Elo both look sus, but i don't like the sudden switch to MR. IF Elo flips baddie, these events will look really bad for Llama....

Re: The Legend of Zelda (Ganon's Conquest) [Day7]

Not sure if today has been insightful or just busy. Either way I recognize possible cognitive bias against MR, at the moment the case against eloh (save the "slip" which I doubt actually was one) seems strongest, switching my vote there.

As for MM, I really don't know. The reason I thought he was possibley baddie is he would have a crap ton of money and the difference between Dom's reason for grabbing vs. MM's. He seemed incredibly rational and logical, almost as if he overthought what he was saying?

Unless MM and MR are crazy God tier amazing mafia players, I doubt they are on the same team. Meaning at least of them is civvie.... Hopefully this isn't a civvie situation

LLama's assertivness as of today is starting to ping me Tbh, but Iunno.

No read on Russ other than the circumstances surrounding him. He seems genuine, but there's a lot of situations where a baddie Russ would be at an incredible advantage.

As of now I'm willing to vote Eloh, MR, and llama....but man Iunno...thoughts?

While pure speculation at this point, my main reason for thinking MM is civvie is because I think his vote yesterday was forced as well as Ninjas. Both votes, through no fault of MM and bloops, felt off.

The other way to look at this is a save, but the closest second (MR?) Didn't get enough votes in my eyes to make a save seem nessiary. Especially since we now know that ties are no lynched rather than random votes.

ThIs a boiled down version of what I wanted to post, but typing from my phone.

Switching vote to Eloh

So assuming a baddie did vote Made....well there she is.
Astute observation, the chances of mafia voting for made is likely. I'm not sure i understand the case against Elo (aside from this point, which equally is a point against yourself, as i'm sure you're aware)

Re: The Legend of Zelda (Ganon's Conquest) [Day7]

OK here's my reasoning for MR.

He was off everyone's radar untill he had to be on it.

and when he made himself know, it was to grab a game objective.

I don't know about typical mafia behavior, but from the one game that i played while bad, we always sent our NKs and abbilities through our least most active/openly criticized player, and it worked. We were never blocked. I believe the same exact thing is happening here but with MR.

MR's team needed the piece to win, so instead of a more active and spotlot heavy member grabbing the piece, he did. When I asked his reasoning, he gave reasoning that pingged me really hard.
Mister Rearranger wrote:I kinda wanna try for the triforce piece I picked on D0 if it's okay with the popular kids. :D

his joking aditude seemed to throw me of, he didn't even seem to try to give a logical reason for grabing....but then Dom flipped civvie, and he very much did the same as MR.

This difference between MR and MM is why i think one of them is mafia

ok periods ending, back at 12ish est maybe...

Or how you don't understand how that is unenecesarily dismissive. I didn't ask you to bring up points why you were a civvie. But i don't see why one wouldn't care why someone they thought was a civvie would think about them. It's a close numbers game at this point and civvies need to stick together. it doesn't make sense to me
fingers, please reconsider your vote. I know MM frustrated you last night, but that doesn't mean he's a baddie. Nor does his statement about not being worried whether he dies. If i interpret that right, then I feel the same way - if we don't get a baddie today then it's over anyway, so you might as well kill me.

If you trust me even a little bit this game, do NOT vote MM today.
Made wrote:As for my vote, I'm still comfy on MR, but iunno.... either MM or MR has to be mafia at this point.

I'm not sure how I feel about Russ, but everything i said when i thought i was going to die Night 6 is still true, and has proven further to be true based on what/where everyone's votes are going.
If MR is Mafia, Then MM isn't and vice versa
If MM Is then Russ likely isn't.

So teams in my head right now would be
MM and Snow
or
MR and Russ.
MM and MR are both playing very finicky atm imo (which might be alignment irrelevant due to pressure/criticism, but iunno. all i'm confident in is that this lynch has the opportunity to be blown wide open if played correctly.
????

Why do either MM or MR have to be bad? Maybe I misread your posts earlier, but I haven't seen any type of case, argument, or analysis that explains why that would be the case. Frankly, it looks like bullshit to me.
They don't be, but the way i'm reading the game is there's not way they're both on the same team, but I think it's likely that one is mafia . First period study hall so i'll try to hashout my reasoning for both

Also, In response to the "as confirmed civvie as he thinks he is" comment, This is the first game where i've felt like people- more than 1 person- have openly trusted me in a game, so i feel i'm obligated to act on that to help find a baddie, and that's what i'm doing. Assuming the people who trust me aren't just baddies looking for civvie cred, I hope the arguments/perspective of my own can be used to get baddies.

I did though, but you went away. Also, the triforce is the more important discussion right now since we can't lynch anyone until tomorrow.

Re: The Legend of Zelda (Ganon's Conquest) [Day7]

Because no one has pointed it out, The key exist..... Double rupees for mafia.. I'd go back to the day Mafia used a bomb on Dom and figure out who could of possibly had enough money by then assuming the first thing they bought was a key, as if I were baddie, that's what i would of done)

Also, we're forgetting the possibility Mafia gambled. As dom put it when directed at me, There might be too many factors to make conversation about this topic meaningful.

As for my vote, I'm still comfy on MR, but iunno.... either MM or MR has to be mafia at this point.

Since we're starting to get late game, i figure there's no harm is revealing exactly what my strategy/persona has been for at least since Swastica Puzzle, but more definitively since night 5. Normally I like to not play overtly Civvie in order to avoid death, but this game i decided to just say what I'm thinking, and try not to obfuscate my own allegiance to the civvie cause.

I'm not sure how I feel about Russ, but everything i said when i thought i was going to die Night 6 is still true, and has proven further to be true based on what/where everyone's votes are going.

Nope, If there were any dead ones, the piece would be put up for competition to be won again.
Excuse my ignorance (I know I say that often) but is the reason we know Ganon is still alive because the "piece" has not gone up for competition?
Made is claiming to e a guardian I think.
No? I thought we got alerted when Baddies won the trifroce?

what's this got to do with ganon being alive?
ok, i thought that getting all 3 pieces of the triforce were needed to kill ganon as well as killing the guardians. Rereading the first page....

Snow Dog wrote:The civ position is precarious. This game is ready to be lost. One more wrong lynch could be terminal.
It's not as lost as it might seem. It all depends on how many guardians vs. underlings have been night killed. I can't imagine baddie having all of the triforce piece, but even if all that's true and guardians are dead after having all of those things, they need to kill ganon, meaning we have time before things are lost lost. (inb4 Indy wins...)

linki- No reason, Just felt it was worth noting. It's lonely playing without BTSC
