I was going to say we can't coordinate that publicly if they have a blocker, but actually who cares? They're still probably gonna block the vigs to be safe (we were talking about repeat roles earlier and totally forgot about this, but what's the difference between hk and falcon anyway? If one of them is lying that's also really dire at this point).

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 4
This is how I feel right now.
I think Urist is civ, and even his going after me has reinforced that thought. JPIC was almost a lock mafia before but all this fuckery he claims actually makes sense; still can't fully trust him, and if we're wrong then the consequences are just a little too much for town to bear. I think he's the better option. Feeling a little bit of doom regardless, lol.

If JPIC is town, Urist is mafia, and this whole thing works, 112 is a reasonable vig option because of association, but I still feel worse about TSP/LC and whatever shady shit's been happening there. Basically I think we should be talking about vig shots as much as we're talking about the poll that most of us don't have a say in.
If both of them are town then lmao.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 4
My assumption (what I mean by the LC/tsp connection) is that they're teammates. Dunya/TSP wouldn't have to actually receive a leaf, just nudge you in that direction to trust LC.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:15 pmexcept that Dunya and myself have claimed maple leafs, and you have claimed to not target either of us.Enrique wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:09 pmI assumed from the first moment this clicked that he somehow blocked me and copied my power (for one night). Right, Mac blocking Marmot would block you from sending a leaf, but he died.

Also: Mac claimed to block Marmot on Night 2, so he wasn't the reason my leaf didn't go through. Makes me think mafia power, unless we're looking at another town-role repeat.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:01 pmI'm struggling to justify two people with the same action given how much thought and effort seems to have gone into the creation of this game. If so, who gave the card to Dunya and who gave the card to me?
Also, someone gave me mana last night. 1 colorless and two of the same color.
I've also never given anyone any mana or received it. Making mana leaves takes up all the mana I produce. My kicker lets me make a Black Lotus (slightly stronger version of the same) but I don't think it's worth asking for mana / risking a PtF.
This is what I was trying to get that earlier in the day and I completely agree.Urist wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 9:58 pmI suspect that the ability which created the special execution mechanic on d3 is the same one that created the special execution mechanic today. Also, dunya was given a ton of mana for n2 and I don't think anyone gave her mana for n3, so how would Tony execute this special ability unless it was initially triggered n2 and this is just an after-effect?
What I'm getting at is that TSP is probably mafia. And that, unfortunately, I'm probably wrong on hk and that he's likely town after all.
Maybe there's a way to confirm both of you though..
Maybe you can send within player pool X and LC can send within player pool Y. I dunno, lemme think on that

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 4
The questions are:
1) Why would LC lie so openly while I’m still alive?
2) Why not silence me immediately after?
Mac also suspected LC though, and his block ability could be perceived as the bigger threat. Did they just think I wouldn’t notice?
You can read my ISO. I hinted at my role since Day 2 when I started posting, way before he did. It’s not a fake claim. I can make anyone a leaf tonight (I gave yesterday’s to Mac because only he and Jack volunteered when I asked...).
lol motherfuck

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 4
My role is real. I think LC copied it or somehow took the leaf I was giving Jack. It’s called a mana leaf. The properties hk gives are slightly off from what I make though. You have to spend one mana to make two more of one color (so it doesn’t “boost it by two”). Could have easily just missed the cost though.

oh?LC I believe is town off of mechs. I was sent an artifact last night that boosts my mana production by 2 of any color I want and I believe that's from him. I don't think wolves give me extra mana given my claim to be a direct damage role with a kicker.

Urist and 112 crossvoted too. So did Epi and Guillo (who are not partners).
Epi being covered by both Guillo and JPIC may seem notable. But JPIC obviously wouldn’t vote for Wilgy and doom himself; Guillo didn’t vote to save anyone else because of his silencing (would’ve cost life to go over limit... he did threaten suicide at one point though lol).
Mac also got two votes (Jack and Wilgy) but we know for a fact 2 of the 3 were civs. Jack could have voted to save either Wilgy or JPIC but it didn’t align with his plan (neither of them being in his towncore).
Jack-JPIC is a possible pairing to draw from looking at the poll alone (if they knew a tie would kill Wilgy), but I don’t buy it. Jack’s vote also makes sense as a civ and his plan was a genuine option to try and crack the event.
So what we really know from the poll is:
dunya and LC voted for each other; dunya had enough mana yesterday to trigger a yeet mayhem like tsp did today, and we got a different sort.
Urist and 112 voted for each other, now Urist protests that the mafia wouldn’t have to do that anyway. Meh.
The mafia prioritized yeeting Wilgy over JPIC. They were both good yeet candidates, but at least Wilgy was innocent. If JPIC had been lynched and flipped civ instead we would be justified in speculating about Wilgy. It’s no guarantee of anything but the result does not make jpic look better. I want to hear people’s interpretations of this.

Coming around to this too, but the deciders are someone who gave them 6 mana and someone who vowed to shield all their town cred defending dunya. She could’ve burned all that mana fucking up the poll yesterday, and some today.
If 2/3 of the deciders are scum that would be very seriously lopsided, but we also don’t know that the dunya/hk neighborhood was real as opposed to just a scheme.

The neighborhood will last until the end of this day phase, after which I will permanently mute the three of them but I won't kick them. They will not be allowed to copy paste stuff from that neighborhood chat and post it in the thread, they need to paraphrase.

If you didn't get an artifact last night (not mana) that's very bad news lol.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:17 pm Btw, nothing changed about my mana from Enrique. Idk if there's a delay or if it didn't work or what.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
I don't know whether hk tried to kill me, or like, tried to save me and then decided not to? lol. The time here didn't change so I always assumed EoD was in one hour. It was two different last minute votes so it's not exactly the same as if their vote had been on me from the start and changed in the last second.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
Everything we know about the thopters is in this exchange afaict. Guill doesn't mention getting a thopter but the other artifact that Mac got. So only Mac has come out as having a thopter.Guillotine wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 10:16 pmI received a similar artifact, my vote counts as three if I vote for Macdougall.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 8:55 pmI absolutely am not mafia. I thought Marmot and Epi were outed at EOD but clearly not. Good show.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:42 pmI'm not thoGuillotine wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:20 pm Mac is mafia. Dont vote today for that guy.
Hollowkatt is too.
I’ve been marked and i can only post 10 times today. So im gonna dip out.
I received two artifacts overnight. I received no additional mana so was unable to boost my thingy. One of my artifacts adds two votes to a named player and that player is Guillo. The other is a thopter and I have nfi what it does.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
Actually we may know a bit more about the thopters - each of Mac and Guill said there vote was worth more if they voted against each other. I don't think they mentioned if that was just for today or if they know it's directly related to the thopters but I'll check their posts again.Enrique wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 4:46 pmThere's a confusion here btw. Epi and Guill both got marked (if lynched make someone vig), Mac and Guill claimed to receive thopters (no idea what they do or how long they last, but Urist's warning applies), Guill got additionally cursed / post-limited. These all appear to be separate things.dunya wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 7:07 amthey've been "permanently" marked so until the marker flips, they should holster? mmm. don't like that plan.Urist wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 11:51 pm Btw @Guillotine @Epignosis I'd be wary of taking certain actions such as gifting mana to other players for as long as you have those thopters on you. Not sure what they do but it's a possible tracking mechanism.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
I get where Urist is coming from fine. It’s the same discussion we were having last night (except now we’re on opposite sides lol). Jack’s thing is the closest we had to a solution but it’s still flawed (what does the mafia care if we just leave a townie out to die?).

You’re not a top suspect for me but I don’t have a townread on you either.
I don’t want you watching my back. I want someone I can trust to do it.
