Reads on known scum are pretty much non-existent. But then again he was slanking for a lot of time so that's not damning in and of itself imo.

The two things that made me go 'hmm' were (a) he very quickly had a V read on me and stuck with it through a time when no one else had that, and (b) if Wilgy and/or Mac are scum he gave them fairly easy V reads too.

But he's also towncased a lot of town / likely town along the way. And his words all make sense when doing so. And of course they do because he's Sloonei, but still.

Maybe I need to find a recent scum game to read.

Yeah I read through his iso and he says dizzy is town by default but later said that wasn't a legit read. I didn't see him say anything about marmot. Tsp was mildly mentioned. He did some analyzing of dizzy interactions. Kind of pushed c4. One thing I do remember is a long time ago there was a game where he was mafia and shot his teammate and rode that cred for awhile.

Sean cares about his own thoughts and suspicions and follows them up, and he's also doing classic town!Sean things in response to people either town reading him and accusing him.
Guillo has had many posts I found towny from him. Both Sean and Guillo are showing their paranoid town play styles imo. I think I'm pretty good at reading both of them actually.
Alexa is town for how she went about her role check on Nut. I also think that she wouldn't have a role check as mafia when that is how mafia makes the soup kill tbh, but that is kind of besides the point. Her posts are kind of "messy" in a way I find they are as town, while they are more deliberate as scum. I've also been pretty good at reading Alexa.

There's a bunch of players I town read to a lighter degree or even a pretty solid degree, probably too many, but the aforementioned are the ones I feel I have a better handle on reading.

In any case, I feel the game is in a pretty ok spot consensus-wise.

I have some concerns about Mac. Feels like he's not really landing any of his thoughts, and they seem to be a bit all over the place, which I find scummy for him.
I'm also suspicious of Scotty, feel like his posts are just awkward, trying to chime in but not really going anywhere.
Sabie is meh.

I think these are the things I've been thinking about the most.

So I'm trying to make sense of everything this game which is probably an impossible task. I know we have a poe kind of but there is just something that kind of stood out to me. I know people are thinking alexa is town because of her role cop thing but In reading dizzys iso I found this post where he mentions oh well it wouldn't make sense for mafia to have a role like that with soup kills being a thing....but like what if they did choose thier roles? I would think they would want a role like that on their team. Role cop is different than alignment cop so like obviously mafia wouldn't need an alignment cop but a role cop? Very helpful. I know there was also a protect claim but that just stood out to me. Porscha and belzy's clear also comes from this assumption. I think mafia benefits from confusing us and getting us to fight amongst ourselves or lull into a false sense of security. It definitely has worked on me because I've had a hard time figuring out what the right thing to do is. I'm only throwing this out there in case I die in the night and don't get a chance to share my thoughts.

I do feel like mac is scum based on his reactions. The Thing with creature is like I want to town read him but he has been noncommittal with votes both eod1 and 2 despite being so active with reads throughout the game. He and tsp seem compatible. It doesn't feel like mac and creature would be teammates though here and I feel like macyo has been scummier. Paopan had a scummy eod 2 with the sudden weird push away from gullio to maybe look towny on purpose felt like tmi. Wilgy eod 1 was weird like he was trying to push to get himself chopped. I don't feel like he and pao would be teammates either. Pao seems scummier to me of those two.

Wondering if there is a 3p faction still if that is pao because the way he's played this game seems like not aligned either way. That eod where he went back and forth on guillo and tsp was super weird.

We had 1 vig shot. We needed 2 votes on the same player. We all 3 voted for Phil and Gloria. Belzy, alexa, sabie, in that order.

yes but you talked about your worry over being RBed in the hood and you were still gonna shoot? BC V you should be very aware you could be souped before getting your next vig in? so you still waiting makes no sense to me whatsoever

I wasn't a hundred percent sure if I could trust you and belzy. I wanted to be sure the mac shot was a hit. Now that it was I'm more inclined to trust you and feel better about the paopan suspicon. I also felt bad about messing up my other shots and was erring on the side of caution. I never said I for sure was going to shoot paopan I said I was worried about being roleblocked and didn't want to shoot wrong.

Why would a roleblock deter you from attempting to shoot?

Do role blocks not block shots if that's your role?

Alexa and Belzy have been two of the most confirmed town players in the game for a while now. Where did this distrust stem from? Are you aware of the mechanical information around them?

I don't know I just have been wrong a few times this game and wanted to proceed with caution.

Sorry after messing up a couple times I got nervous and overthought everything. That's all I got. You can think I'm scummy for that or whatever but that's where I'm at. This game has been a tough one and I worried about making things worse. I'm trying not to make things worse or upset people.

IDK. Sabie honestly was being extremely sketchy in this regard and it makes me nervous about her alignment. Like a huge convo in the neighborhood was "OK we are killing Mac/Paopan, let's shoot one then Sabie kills the other"

and she agrees etc etc etc

so her suddenly backtracking on that/holstering feels sketchy as fuck to me

It's alright. Let's just focus on catching the remaining bad guys. If we are on the right track, three out of these five names are the remaining mafia team. Who do you trust the most among these names? Who do you trust the least?

I feel I need to step away from the game for a little bit and come back to it. I apologize if I've upset anyone I did not mean to. I'll come back later and put together my thoughts on the remaining people.

I will explain that alexa and belzy's super strong push towards Mac and then paopan gave me some pause and I wanted to make sure it was the right decision. I went through macyo's ISO and there were some interactions with dizzy that obviously we know now are fabricated but I wanted to discuss and make sure. I don't feel like being cautious is a bad thing this stage of the game. Macyo seemed like more likely a hit and even though I do find pao scummy I didn't want to be wrong. The fact that alexa has outed peoples roles without them even being pushed or needing to also made me a bit wary.

So it sounds like mafia designates someone at the time of the soup kill rather than ahead of time but it can't be a vanilla role unless no one is left. So they couldn't just throw it to macyo even if they wanted to.

Can you walk us through what exactly happened in your chat with belzy and alexa? How did the conversation unfold, and how did you all arrive at Macyo?

I don't know game rule wise how much we're supposed to discuss btsc. There was some discussion before an official decision was made. Now that macyo has flipped mafia I feel better about alexa and belzy. Before knowing for sure there was some apprehension. They were trying to make the decision to shoot pao for me despite me saying I was unsure about it but also they said they think the thread would chop him.

Alexa did bring up the 3p thing last night as well which was what got me thinking about who made sense as a 3p player so far. So she knew about it prior to start of day today. Could have been when she claimed to be role blocked though.

What about the part where it says 3p inherits the factional kill if mafia is eliminated? Wouldn't that mean that ilario would then be able to kill us? I don't get how that would work or help us. Do we not win if we eliminate the remaining 3 mafia?

It always okay to kill off both mafia and 3p, cuz then you know for sure town wins. I do feel the pressure in lynching mafia first cuz of the soup kill waiting to happen.

Yeah definitely go for mafia first. I'm just pointing out that it sounds as though in the rules that 3p can then kill us after mafia is gone so if that's true then ilarios claim that he can win with us would be false.

I believe you on the creature suspicion and have also felt creature could be mafia this game. I believe you do want to kill off the mafia and that is part of your wincon. What I'm skeptical of is what happens after that. I think the macyo and creature interactions at last eod seemed like oh they can't be teammates but now I'm thinking that could be fabricated because macyo all of a sudden stopped and went away and gave up. I also found some dizzy macyo interactions that looked like they were trying to not seem teammates. That was around page 52/53.

That would then leave Paopan and DrWilgy as my lynch options. I think Paopan's protective thing seemed sincere.

Two things about paopans protective claim that make it less sincere 1 is that he tried to make the point that mafia never would have chosen a protective role which why wouldn't they in a game like this? And 2 it also could be a way to try to get someone to counter claim and open them up for soup. I don't know I feel like he intentionally is playing all over the place to make it hard to read.

- If Mafia Capt randomed, I am also cleared because they can choose from a pool of roles. So why would I choose a protective role as Mafia? I have big balls of steel

In response to LPs huge post alexa talked about the 3p thing last night in the vig chat prior to the MR flip and knowing she was posioned. How did you come up with the possible roles they had?

People can discuss what they think I did or did not say in a btsc. I feel like that is a slippery slope. Alexa and belzy talked about it together and tried to make a decision on my behalf. It's very hard to defend myself against something that others cannot see. I have explained my thought process and where my apprehension came from and I expressed that in the chat. it was also discussed that if I didn't shoot paopan he would be chopped anyway. I think I'm valid in being cautious here. I expressed that I had one shot left what if I chose wrong and mess things up further? So basically me choosing not to use up my last shot means I'm mafia. I'm not upset or anything just putting my perspective out there.

Wow a broken promise. I did not make a promise to do anything. Again it's very hard to defend myself in a conversation that no one else can see and it is against the rules to quote btsc. What reason would I possibly have as mafia here to do that? I would have just shot someone without much thought or convinced you to shoot elsewhere. Again I'm not mad...just disappointed.

I didn't shade anyone I in fact defended alexa and belzy. After seeing macs flip I felt that looked better for them.

I'm hoping someone puts all the pieces together and comes to the right conclusion on their own as to what's really going on here.

Well alexa still hasn't flipped yet so we don't have that to go off of. I see that sloonei suggested he thinks she will flip mafia. If she did I'm not sure how I'd be seen as teammates with her but creature I guess I could see. I think the fact that alexa outed town roles when they were not being pushed didn't make sense as it sets people up for soup but she kept saying she was omitting things in the hopes it would save her from soup.

You mean the creature wagon? I've thought both paopan and creature could be mafia. I wish I had more time to be here and research further into it. I've expressed my pao suspicion. I would have been willing to hear paos thoughts on things but he chose to post cryptically and assume we all should know what he's talking about so that's like not helping figure him out at all.

Okay so I've been thinking and I have a theory that might be crazy but I think Belzy and Porscha could be tragic lovers meaning one is town one is mafia but they are connected and have btsc. And then I think LP might be an actual mafia role cop.

The reason being that LP was very focused on the mafia role cop thing in the beginning. Dizzys role cop role does not offer any info day 1 but alexa made a big deal of knowing nutellas role. Also alexa talked a lot about 3p in the vig chat before the mac kill and then LP had the info about ilario's role. Belzy and alexa were super buddying each other and had that whole weird interaction with me when I said I didn't trust them. They tried to push me to kill paopan who ended up being town.
