I had the unfortunate circumstance of my car blowing up on me. I feel bad that I wasn't able to put forth my best effort, but if I hadn't self pres voted and made it through the tie then the kill still would have been watched so I guess it was unavoidable. Oh well it's okay it happens. Good game all!

Okay so I guess voting marmot when others also voted marmot makes me scum. I'm trying to figure things out as best I can. I thought his post was sketchy and could be from a disinterested mafia and EOD still was a bit away when I put my vote there. I take awhile to process things sometimes so my responses and analysis isn't as quick as others. I guess I'm just a bit out of practice.
I'm in agreement that a gavial flip gives us more info than a marmot one and his deflections and weird theories make sense as mafia so moving my vote there.

Sure I can elaborate. I don't think we can judge Jack's alignment yet as he hasn't been here even if he has been tricky in the past. I was unsure as to why everyone jumped so quickly on the gav train so early on. I guess that stems from me taking a little longer to process things in the beginning of games before figuring things out. From my experience, I feel like there are sometimes players who often get scumread early on whether they are town or scum. I've seen this happen to sig and to gavial for example and it seems to have happened here.
Why is Jack not judgeable but Marmot is if both player's presence have been lacking in this game?

This is an old post from before Jack even came into the game so that's not the same thing. I have misread Jack a lot in the past and I didn't want to make a read on someone who didn't say anything yet. He at least has tried to express an interest in playing but no his presence hasn't been great either. I was hoping a vote on marmot would get him to come back or engage in some way but that doesn't seem to be happening now.

That's fair, any thoughts on Gav so far? I see you posted about Jack, but not Gav, so more just curious if you had more of a reason for Marmot over Gav.

I'm not sure about gav I feel like his theories don't make sense and could be deflection of attention from himself. I feel like he is so all over the place it's hard to pinpoint. I could see him as mafia this game. My initial hesitation was because I thought people jumped on his wagon pretty quick early on in the day. I was hoping maybe a vote on marmot would get him to post more but that maybe that was being too hopeful.

Wilgy as town often starts off not posting much and if he lives long enough then becomes more talkative. I think I've only seen one scum wilgy. He gets misyeeted a lot for lack of participation early on.

Yeah not sure why voting for me to spite gav makes any sense or is helpful. Its odd and seems counterproductive but okay. Might just be like people throwing things around to see what happens. I think dyslexicon seems like town that tried to see what I'd do with a vote on me but then guillo and tsp votes I'm less sure about. Would it make sense that mafia would be like oh hey there's a vote on sabie let's just jump on it to seem involved? Maybe one of them is but I don't think all 3.

I figure the vote on me was to push me to participate more and get a better read on me. I don't know if they'd be so obvious as to vote me together if they're teammates. I'm not familiar with guillo so not sure if this is their norm or not

I have read the thread thank you for asking. When I say not as much info I mean like day 1 we don't have flips or actions or anything to look at yet so the focus tends to be more on meta and tone. I was trying to figure out the point of your disagreement with LP. Do you scum read both LP and falcon?

Daaaaamn. What was the issue?

Thought it needed a battery or had a leak but come to find out it was a belt that needed replacing, which I guess was a less expensive problem to have.

I feel like it's impossible to read everything if there's that many posts so yeah sometimes skimming for highlights is the way to go.

Not sure if I totally understand the game mechanics yet, but it seems like maybe once it gets going it'll make more sense.
