Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 10
Thi was also way before anybody had solved, or even started (I presume), Rory's secrets. Rule that out and she's pretty much claiming one of two roles. Vague enough for nobody to question and early enough that nobody would think to question much. However, Chris is one of those two roles and, based on subtle clues in the thread, I have somebody else down as the other. Did you not notice her laser screwdriver in the bedroom?Epignosis wrote:Add this to the fact that she said this before it was made known that Strax's first three civilian kills fail. Were she The Master, it would make more sense for her to simply claim that she didn't know how she survived, rather than claim one of a handful of civilian roles as early as Day 3.Elohcin wrote:I do believe I know what happened/how I survived but I am not all too sure I am allowed to share. I am really bad for dumping too much info when I have it. I will just say, read the civ roles again....or is that too much info?Metalmarsh89 wrote:Hi there Elo, what happened last night? Can you share?
Based on this, I'm moving to Elo. I urge you all to join me.
Who are your other two suspects?Epignosis wrote:Now Chris says The Msater has to be him, DF, or Eloh, but Chris isn't one of my four. Therefore, if he's right on his end, it has to be DF or Eloh, and I don't think it's Eloh.

I think you're ignoring the Strax factor here, Chris, but I may be willing to switch because they both may be bad. Problem I have is DF has played such a "blendy" game that there's not much to back up the possibility of him being the lead cyber or master.

While I agree with your questioning of Chris' assertion here, I find it curious you're casting doubt on it given they are the three most likely suspects. It's certainly possible that Bass had nothing to do with the switch. I'm open to a DF vote but I don't know. It does strike me that he survived on the supposed day of sunshine, when Dana almost died, but because he survived strax he's just as likely civ as the master.

This has nothing to do with my role, your role or Dana's. It's a matter of etiquette. If you don't want it to involved me, don't put it in the thread. This is my business, but you're too head strong to realise its inappropriate. I want Dana to come back and play, or be replaced, but thats up to the hosts. It's not for you to decide what happens, or when. You don't like that host your own game. And I presume you never have or you'd understand where I'm coming from.

Would you prefer they both put "Voting Turnip, for *reasons*" like you have before?
I really doubt the Doctor can be recruited. That'd make it a Super Team. We can't waste a lynch for such poor reasons.

This is all nonsense. We can put out scenarios till the cows come home but its all a lot of conjecture. I put a sole vote on Dom earlier in the game, if the switch had happened then I'd be in the same situation as MP and SD.
Why has nobody considered that this switch could have been a prize? I never heard back from the hosts about the poetry contest.

For the record: I do think Chris is civ.Long Con wrote:I wonder why The Master chose to use his ability that night? Why that night? Was someone getting close to him? Did he think Strax would probably target him?
The Master: Due to his strong ability as a hypnotist, once in the game he can force every night action that night to be randomly redirected to someone other than the original target. This is up to and including kill attempts.
BUT if he was the Master pretending to be Jack, he'd need to get through N8 to keep up that pretense. He was very paranoid about being killed.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 9
Chris - No, I wouldn't say its a good enough reason. MP will have to answer you on that. I just think it'd be a little bold of MP to vote for someone he knew the lynch would be switched to. Snowy got his vote in just under the wire, MP couldn't have known that. For the same reason, I don't think Snowy switched it. He may have been trying to hide any extra votes he has, but switching the lynch to TH after voting for him in the last ten minutes? Nah. I don't believe it.
linki - good point. DFaraday was targetted by Strax though, could have been a civ fail.

Wouldn't it be in the recruit team's best interest to take out the Cyber team tho?
Until we get the recruiter, I'm working under the assumption the Doctor can't be recruited. I hosted a game with a recruit and made sure to limit the role so that the most powerful civ role couldn't be recruited.
You can be wary of me Chris but I've only been alive for four nights, and none since my rezz. If they do recruit every other night, odd or even, they only had two chance to recruit me. I haven't been recruited and you're welcome to check me out.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Night 9
Night poll:
Tigus - Under Galatic Heritage in the novels, i.e. protection, the Doctor was stranded here once for all of five minutes before he worked out an escape.
Uranus - Mining of Uranus helped power the Time Destructor created by the Daleks. Some not so nice species like the Ice Warriors went to a moon there to observe a reaction on the surface of the planet.
Woman Wept - Visited by the Doc and Rose once (unseen), the whole planet was also taken by Davros and the Daleks during the Stolen Earth storyline, when they tried to use the Reality Bomb.
Vulcan - Human colony almost taken over by the Daleks. Doctor saved the planet and the Dalek survivors went into the Dalek Asylum.
Tigus sounds safest.
