In the mean time, I welcome the backup you requested, and ask them to form their view on whether or not I'm right. Also you just said you had the same suspects as me (Colin, Fractal, Marmot) and then called Colin for back up, so what do you think about colin exactly?

You are allowed to disagree with that assessment but I also intend to do isos of each person to answer these questions for myselves and encourage others to give their own perceptions.

The questions reflect my own perception of players right now, and what I've noticed about them. Literally all I know about you in this game is you suspect Fractal (right now). This might be bad on you, but it equally might be bad on me.

I have a question about every player in the game; they aren't just for the players themselves, anyone can answer. I'm answering these myself too, but interested in opinions.

Colin - Has Colin ever actively pushed against lynching a known townie?
Fractal - How suspicious is sticking on Scotty in the scotty lynch now that we know inh is town?
Kyle - is there any reason to doubt the consensus read? (no there isn't. I just didn't want Kyle to feel left out).
Dom - am I correctly picking up on what Lapluie was putting down?
Marmot - am I wrong that very quiet Marmot is very rarely town?
Niju - where'd she go on day 5?
sig - what should we make of sig being on the eventual lynch every time, usually as an early adopter?
speed - who would speed's teammates be if he were bad?
TH - Why does TH see Fractal's attempt at isos as more suspicion that, say, Colins? (More generic version of this same question - is TH being purposefully myopic)

Bonus question for colin, Fractal, TH, niju... is their nutella vote suspicious?

I've not done enough ISOs to get a good feel of the active users, but I think I'd rather lynch Niju. My early civ read of her is gone and I think it's very likely she's mafia who just stuck to nutella in an attempt to seem like a tunneling civ.

Don't get me wrong this isn't the worst lynch, but INH has generally not posted much outside of his hot tub of trust and we've got no real reason to think he's mafia or civ. The only thing it'll help to do is shed light on yesterday's lynch.

Sorry TH, I conflated nutella's rad of you with your sudden huntiness today. From my perspective, I've had no impression of you at all. If you'd just started hunting Fractal today, it would have been obvious just because he suggested he'd break the tie and didn't, so he's the obvious candidate.

That both speed and I came out of that lynch imagining inh/colin/fractal duos is enough for me to see this as the 'obvious' answer which also means we should be careful not to run headlong into it in my opinion.

Nutella almost died to lynches on days 1 and 2, if I remember right. I have faith that, if she were Ramses, she'd be better than that.

Nutella has a habit of taking early suspicion, no matter what the circumstance.

Pressuring fractal right now isn’t particularly enlightened in my view, he’s the obvious choice for who is bad.

A bad read on Fractal is definitely tinfoil right now. If inh is bad, fractal was sloppy. If inh is good, fractal walked back an apparent promise for no real gain. But it’s the second time in a row he’s featured one way or the other as a critical vote in a lynch on a townie.

An inh/colin/fractal team is likely too obvious just because it’s sloppy. But sloppy does happen.

Anyway, circuitous way of saying a fractal suspicion right now seems to me to be obvious but also skin deep. But I’ll have another read in case he’s gone deeper than I thought.

I don’t think it’s all moot. Doing nothing if you know both are town might be meaningful.

Fractal did something earlier in the game which I liked, which was considering who might be bad depending on whether the counterwagon is town or scum. I think we could get merit from this.

I connected the dots that either Scotty or niju was courage specifically because of speeds posts. I just didn’t think I needed to panic because I interpreted fractals post as an agreement to break any tie, not just the three way tie, in favour of lynching inh.

I can’t see any basis on which to flagellate speed I’ve this. I completely understand where his brain was at.

I just did ninja's iso. I actually agree with her meta self assessment, she's hard to read (I used to think her more detailed, multi-quote posts were town leaning, but I don't believe that is true any more). But I think she's contributed quite a bit more than what I'd usually expect and what's more from her iso I finally actually understood the reasons nutella took suspicion for the first time and read that suspicion from ninja as quite genuine. Gave me a town lean on ninja.

I didn't have time for all of Colin's iso, but I read from where he started isoing everyone else, and I am going back to the town read I had as my first instinct. I think his conviction in not seeing Scotty as bad in particular, because of the flip from voting Colin to Vomps. If I was in Colin's position, I might well feel the exact same where. There's a genuineness to his 'the guy who saved my bacon is not bad'.

Also his isos were essentially mostly tinfoil and lacked much in the way of providing confidence. Both of these things are good looks.

A couple of other things however. I'm picking up on something I think Kyle is putting down, so I'm not even thinking of voting there, and I think if you work on it you might pick up on it too.

Secondly - Marmot should seriously be in this conversation. I know he's busy and out of town range, but he is always busy and out of town range, yet I haven't ever seen him be this missing and town. When town he always finds time to contirute some genuine reads.
