Well, as noted, I'm all in for Cats vs Dogs. I would take a cat over a dog any day!

It's pretty simple really.

Dogs are easily lead and uninformed, they will pretty much perform any trick and jump through any hoop you ask them to, but they will be enthusiastic and try hard. Therefore town.
Cats are always up to some scheme or another, know what is going on, and have everyone fooled. They will put minimal effort in if they can get away with it without being exposed. Therefore scum.
