DDL and Speed I forgot can either of you increase diplomacy? We have 3 with me and inh which means we’ve hit a 1/6 chance

So Mac made a small error and we actually have the moderate job available not the easy one. I dunno its stats yet. Hopefully we can still pass it.

I was actually going to suggest 3P try honesty in here if they are here. I don’t see any reason to disbelieve that you’re no threat. Let’s try and win you this mission.

I chose the easy mission, 7 attack and I’m using my knife. The difficult one required 11 diplomacy. I’m not sure I was supposed to know that but never mind.

Who do people think should go on the poll if we pass?

DDL, it’s up to you ultimately. I always distributed evenly with the plan that if we had spare we could pool. We haven’t seen great new items in a while, hopefully there are some towards the end.

We are going to harvest.

Daisy/Mac, what’s up with distribution of the winnings from the last job?

Also something we need to talk through as a group... at what point should we stop attempting missions and make sure everyone is on the poll? And should we be now trying to strong arm the other crew into doing the same?

I don’t think DH is bad though. He’s felt townie to me for most of the game.

The thing I disliked most about nut was her sudden willingness to take Macs slip stuff seriously with TH but not my actual casing or suspicion of him. It doesn’t even matter if TH is good or not, that still really bothered me from nut.

The emotion I actually felt was more like relief than celebration anyway.

this is the kind of question that only gets asked to me. I hate stupid expectations like 'you should react to the lynch'. It's less so now but there was a time when, scum or town, I refused to react to lynches because it's such a fake thing to do. It's kind of a dick thing, but the only time any reaction I post is real and not tokenism is when I've been pushing that lynch for a long time and either I feel the need to either rub it in people's faces or apologise for being wrong.

Yeah I think nut and TH are the top two I need to read further (and Enrique's perspective on them both). Could you elaborate more on your position on nutella? And Enrique kept helping me try to lynch TH so if TH is bad there's some kind of hard bus relationship going on there. Which is possible but does anyone know Enrique well enough to know if he would do that?

So I have bought the med kit and used it.

So I’m now out of cash. But I agree with speed that we shouldn’t overdo buying. We’re up to +8, that puts us at a 50% chance I think.

Yes I know he was on my crew etc. But if you have a good look at TH and his flopping on DDL, and DDLs view of TH, I don’t think those two are compatible at least.

The one thing to keep in mind is captain psychology. I knew TH would put himself up until I came hard for him. I’ve blown that window now. I think he’ll put up DDL now...

I guess I just hope DH loses.

Mac, I just want to say, I think if you put me on the poll there’s a decent probability I’m getting lynched. I’ll push for someone else but I’ll try not to spend my time defending if I can exert self-control. But I really think you should reconsider that. I think that I’m seen as very lynchable right now and there’ll be a strong push against me.

But I get your philosophy and I’ll accept if it’s me.

There is this flaw... I admitted this at one point.

But so far, we have not had a situation where every crew has passed a test on one night, and the tests are so variable that I actually think it would be quite difficult to achieve. So I imagine everyone will be open at some point (as, indeed, they have been).

The thing is that I don't think the scum have actually gotten any items. I've been on Serenity (where I believe 2 scum were/are) and we didn't get shit. I got the only item of value and bailed. INH and Enrique have nothing. I think Turnip Head's crew sans DDL is mostly town. I don't think that there is a huge risk of the scum being able to win the game by virtue of item usage. I do think there is a huge risk of the scum being able to win the game through continuously not being on the poll.

And I think there's a huge risk that the scum wins because we let them mislynch people we could protect.

But then, I play the whole game based on trusting my instincts. I always have. And I know it's arrogant.

Fair enough though. All I'm saying is, I feel the same way right now. But divesting myself of the captaincy has given me a new lease on things.

If you want to get your head back in the game, you could do worse than reading TH's iso. Here's a copy of what I posted back in the main thread.
