Someone - Pilate perhaps? Had speculated you might not be a civilian the day before. But I thought you were doing so well the heathen really were bound to kill you that night. So I kept my trap shut. If you'd survived that night, I was intending to come out suggesting Stephen might be bad, and his instincts seemed a little too good...

I figured Jacob must have been hinting at Joshua from what everyone else said, but I'd really like to know what the hints were.

I went over his posts with a fine tooth comb, and found stuff like people 'flooding the thread' so eventually I thought maybe I had it wrong and he was actually hinting Noah.

And yeah, sorry FZ! I'm pretty sure we've never played with each other before, but you just seemed so shady to me lol. I am known for tunnel vision issues. Plus, going after you did double as saving Jonathan, who I didn't think was bad.

Oh and yes. I lie when I say I figured out no socks. I did figure out Vomps.

Thanks, Epi, for what was yet another epic game (this time, literally). I really enjoyed it. I got a buddy, I got a contest right up my street, and I got to survive. It's like my ultimate combo. I wish more people had been louder, but it certainly made for easier endgame analysis that they weren't And frankly, there were times when the sedate pace of this game kept me sane while I was desperately trying to thread the needle in Economics. I'm pleased to have played so many Epi games already, long may it continue.

The last time I played a sock game was my first ever game on Rev Mafia, and it was the first time I ever really played a good civ game and I died for it, but felt awesome at how much I had contributed. I'm sure I'll forget people who contributed but honestly llama, g-man, rico, devin, nutella, FZ, bf, juliet, MP and Dom all are people I felt really contributed to me (and the civs) being able to win this game. I'm glad a handful of them got to share in it. But ultimately I got to win for the sole reason that llama felt fit to set Lazarus and I against each other and any of the rest of you might have been here instead, so I hope you drink in the glory of the win. Thank you to all of you - and to our heathen team - for making it such a fun game. I enjoyed every moment of it.

You have no idea how many times I wanted to say 'I'm still playing biblical mafia' in economics. The workload is full on. I really need to do my best to stick to one game at a time. But hey, normally I'm just not alive for that long.

I think it's kind of ironic that I wanted to make a three-letter sock alliance with job on day one (and nearly tried to)... and then he turned out to be blindfaeth, my bud. If only I had known...

I'll remember this game fondly for being the game where I survived 15 days. I can assure you this will never happen to the de-socked golden in all the rest of my mafia days.

At the time it happened, I thought you were silenced Cain. Part of why I was defending Cain hard was that I thought being lynched while silenced is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to SVS. It's also where I began to think Absalom was war, and certainly didn't have our best interests at heart.

It certainly would have made for an interesting end game.

This, absolutely this.

You can definitely win without compromising your meta, but I agree with MP that seeing your team win in part because of your own effort is better than winning without any effort anyway.

It wasn't. It was always going to Rahab. When I did the analysis the day before I figured it had to be Rahab/Esther, it was the only thing that made sense. BUT, with the death of Lazarus, I wanted to sound unsure enough to survive lol.

Because I have to say, what I thought was exactly that 'someone is imitating banks'. It did not read genuinely to me at all. The moment I knew I was right was when Stephen morphed from Paul into someone who was actually playing a bit more.

You are the only one of the horseman who I never for a second thought was horseman (although I never thought Belsh was until he flipped, I thought he was heathen for a long time).

Also can I say - G-Man deserved every bit of this win and I'm sorry he couldn't share in it.

He continued to provide me with advice and technicolour lists long after he died.

The effort he was putting in to this at the same time as economics was immense.

I don't normally sign up for more than one game at once. Playing this and economics at the same time was incredibly taxing, I have to say! But at least I just got to balance out everyone thinking I'm bad for the next several months.

@MP - it is ridiculous how many of those questions I had preached on. Like, I've only preached maybe 15-20 sermons in my time, and so many questions for from exactly those passages.

But also, I was faster at googling than everyone else, so people lost both ways.
