Dante impulsively grabbed the jetpack with his outstretched hand just before it was out of reach.

The bear, however, had a cyanide capsule hidden inside one of its teeth. It bit down, and within moments it was dead.

Just then, Peter appeared.

Dante probably didn't even remember that he had lost an arm and his current was one cutting-edge synthetic technology.

"My name is Bear. James Bear" said the Bear. "Does that answer your question?"

"Eat you" said the bear.

"And anyway" asked Nadine "How did you escape from upstairs without me noticing?"

It was Dante, who had found his father's bear suit in the old shed.
