Re: MAD MAX: Night 4

HIGH VOLTAGE

A lone motorcycle drove up the highway on the edge of town. The bike wobbled under the precarious positioning of its load. One rider and a passenger strapped lying across the seat. The operator pulled into an electrical substation and parked. Only then did the rest of Toecutter's gang emerge from the shadows of the night.

"Well done, Johnny," Bubba said, nodding in approval. He wasn't as charismatic as their fallen leader but he still got his point across.

Cundalini looked into the eyes of the frightened man who had been kidnapped, gagged, and driven to a place no sensible person would look for him.

"Welcome, friend," he said with a bow. "We are so glad to have you here for tonight's entertainment. It ought to be an electrifying evening." He laughed and dragged the man to the far side of the substation. He pulled him up to a standing position and tore off two long strips from their victim's shirt. One served as a blindfold. The other was used to bind his hands behind his back. The rest of the gang circled around and they took turns spinning and pushing their prey around the circle, disorienting him.

"Enough!" Bubba shouted. The crowd dispersed as the dizzy young man struggled to get up. "Johnny is going to guide you through the substation. Follow instructions or else."

"Ten paces forward," Johnny laughed. The young man counted them off, all the while listening for the buzz, hum, and pop of the transformers and switches. Every time a sound got too loud for comfort, he flinched, making the gang members laugh.

"Now," Johnny said, turn to your left, walk four paces, take a right, go six paces, then right again and twelve paces." He said this fast in order to confuse and torment their victim. It worked. Sobbing and whimpering, the young man somehow managed to match Johnny's directions. Every time Johnny tried to make his directions hard to follow, the young man persevered and got to where he needed to be.

After walking the man in and around the substation for ten minutes, the game was getting old. Johnny's face turned from a frown to an evil smirk as it finally dawned on him what he could to this poor chap.

"Alright," Johnny called out, "nearly done! Turn right and take ten paces forward." The man complied but stopped at nine paces because he could hear live current somewhere in front of him.

"Well done. Now's where we found out what you're made of, mate" Johnny laughed. "There's a set of live wires running about knee-high two steps ahead of you. If you can jump over it, we'll let you go."

Sweat poured down the young man's brow as he tried to visualize the wires and the distance between them and himself. He backed up three paces and collected himself with a few deep breaths. The gang watched as his head bobbed up and down as he psyched himself up for the jump. He darted forward, counted off the paces and jumped as hard and as high as he could, being sure to kick up his legs to avoid the wires.

Had the wires actually been where Jonny said they were, the young man would have cleared them. But there were no wires. There was only a bank of transformers, which the young man landed on top of.

Electricity coursed through his body, stopping his heart instantly. As the transformers overloaded, they arced, catching the young man's clothing on fire and searing his flesh. The bikers watched, dumbfounded at the spectacle until other substation components began to short and catch fire. Breakers and switches sparked, arresters and transformers caught fire. A deafening explosion rocked the substation as the power went out on one side of town.

Amused by their handiwork, the gang rode off into the night. Minutes later, emergency service workers flooded the scene. When the blaze subsided, there wasn't much left of the young man to identify him. His skin burnt to a crisp and his features distorted by the shock and the blaze, the EMT's doubted he could be identified at all. Then they noticed something- his socks.

Only one person in town wore socks like that...

Re: MAD MAX: Day 4

LOOSE

Outside the Halls of Justice, Neil Hartley was professing his gospel of tender love and free drinks. Inside, however, was another story. Tired of the MFP's penchant for destructive displays of force, the people put insertnamehere on trial. Things weren't swinging his way. The prosecution brought forth all kinds of evidence and the jury was convinced.

"Does the jury have a verdict?" the judge asked.

"Indeed," a juror said. "Guilty on all counts. We demand the defendant be executed and searched for signs of gang affiliation."

The door at the back of the courtroom burst open, giving everyone a jolt. Was it a surprise witness? A gang member come to shoot them all in the backs? Nope. It was just a guy who looked awfully familiar.

"Hey there," Epignosis's twin brother said and found a seat. "Sorry I'm late."

The judge called the room back to order. Calm had been restored for only a minute when the doors at the back of the courtroom burst open once more. This time, a scraggly-looking man in last year's style suit marched up to the judge, shouting at full volume.

"This mockery of justice shall not stand! If you execute this man today, I promise a full civil and constitutional rights investigation. Such a hasty decision cannot determine life and death. Not only a few hours ago, this town was deadlocked on who to press charges against. Carrying these proceedings any further represents an affront to liberty, freedom, democracy, and, dare I say, civilized society."

"Wow," one juror murmured. "That guy makes a good case. Maybe we ought to think this through some more."

Other jurors nodded in agreement. The conviction and sentence were rescinded and the court case sent to recess for further discovery. Insertnamehere didn't waste anytime bolting from his chair to get as far away from the Halls of Justice as possible before anyone changed their minds again.

Re: MAD MAX: Night 3

THUNDERSTRUCK

Not everbody could sing like Neil Hartley. He belted out his second encore set at the Sugartown Cabaret and finished on a high note. No one had ever heard the song "Baby, I Love You (Please Don't Lynch Me Next)" but it was a real crowd-pleaser. The men clapped and the women cat-called to the sultry-voiced star. Everyone wanted more.

"Thank you, thank you!" Neil called out over top of the audience. "I'd love to sing more songs..." The crowd erupted with joy. "...but Neil Hartley has to save his voice, you know." In unison, the throng let out a disappointed 'awwww.' Neil pointed at them, "If you want more, tell the owners to book me for tomorrow night. Only you can make that happen."

It was official- Neil Hartley was a phenomenon. Men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him. As he schmoozed at the bar, a woman whispered something in his ear. Neil's face lit up.

"Thank you for the offer, sweet lady," he said with a wink. "Neil Hartley will see you later."

--------------------------------------------------------

Not everybody had time for Neil Hartley. At the Halls of Justice, Commissioner Labatouche was checking the day's shift logs and expense reports. Goose needed new tires again? As good an officer as he was, his motorcycle exploits were a drain on MFP finances.

A thought popped into his head. He began searching through the shift logs for a specific officer. Sure enough, Labatouche found his paper work for everyday since Max snuffed out that Nightrider clown. Satisfied, Labatouche put on his riot helmet and darted across the parking lot to his car. He wasn't taking any chances, no matter how silly he looked.

--------------------------------------------------------

Not everybody was a fan of Neil Hartley. As the crooner headed off into the night, a lone figure followed from a distance. He watched as Neil walked arm-in-arm with a woman. They stopped at a little house a few blocks from the Sugartown Cabaret. They gazed at each other and went inside.

The shadowy figure watched from the shadows. From his vantage point, he could see into the house as the singer and his floozy moved from room to room. They were settling in for the night. When the woman got up to change clothes, the assassin tried to make his move. Before he could reach the house, however, the woman had returned. It seemed this wasn't going to be easy.

Eventually, Neil Hartley wandered into the kitchen, leaving the woman alone in the front room. Making his move, the shadowy figure knocked on the woman's door and raised his motorcycle helmet above his head, ready to bring it down on her skull.

"Who is it?" the woman asked from the other side of the door.

"It's Neil Hartley's manager. I need to speak with him."

"Buzz off! You can talk to him in the morning!"

The would-be killer pounded on the door. "It's important that I talk to Neil. I've got a contract from Sugartown that he needs to sign, now bring him here!"

The door flew open and what was on the other side left Johnny the Boy stunned. Seeing a diminutive older woman in her nightgown wouldn't normally be enough to stop a killer dead in his tracks. When said diminutive woman in her nightgown also shoves a 12-gauge shotgun in your face? Yeah, that will probably do it.

"You get the hell out of here or I'll blow your damned head off!" she hissed. Johnny complied.

May Swaisey slammed the door shut, locked it, and walked back into her living room. Neil was stretched out on the couch.

"Neil Hartley owes you big time, doll," he said. "That guy looked like trouble. I'll be forever in your debt."

A smile crossed May's face and she let her nightgown drop to the floor. "How about you start working off some of that debt right now, you handsome son of a bitch."

DIRT

A crowd gathered at the center of town. Elohcin and LoRab were being held up to public scrutiny. Poking, prodding, theorizing- you name it and the people were doing it to them. It was getting heated and intense. The MFP were trying to sort out which woman the people wanted them to arrest. Resources were tight and they only brought one pair of handcuffs.

It was either like a tennis match or those Looney Tunes cartoons where Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck go back and forth trying to convince Elmer Fudd to shoot the other one.

"LoRab!"

"Eloh!"

"LoRab!"

"Eloh!"

And so it went for minutes on end. The day was coming to an end and a decision had to be made. As the votes were counted, the sound of a motorcycle filled the air. Elohcin has slipped away from the crowd but her getaway was anything but under the radar. Her motorcycle tore around the corner and she would have mowed down a few pedestrians had they not jumped out of her way.

"That is most definitely not an MFP issue motorcycle," an officer said. "Max is out on patrol in no man's land. Tell him a skag is headed his way. He'll take care of him"

-------------------------------------------

Elohcin thought she had made a clean getaway. The warm air blowing past her made her feel more alive than ever. She was so deep in thought planning her revenge for the night that she didn't notice a black car approaching in her mirror.

-------------------------------------------

ELOHCIN has been lynched. She was TOECUTTER.

That is something we should be keeping an eye out for in this game as well. I've not caught anything yet but if anyone else comes up with anything, shout it out.
Red vs. Blue was unique in that it was a closed setup. That allowed me to reference the secret mechanics that only certain roles knew about. In this game, all relevant mechanics are laid bare and there are no secret components to any roles. Night posts are more about flavor now than they were for RvB but there is some info to be gleaned from them. Probably not as much as you're speculating but there are and will be a few nuggets.

I'm afraid that keeping in contact with this game has been more challenging than I'd imagined it would :( Still, I think things will settle down now for a while so let me try to find my feet back here again.

On an unrelated note: G, do your write-ups have to be so... graphic? Frankly, I found that last one a trifle disturbing...
I apologize if the content of that night post went a little too far. It's something I was prone to years ago while hosting and old habits die hard. Part of the reasoning behind it is to emphasize the evil nature of the baddies on the narrative side of the equation. The players themselves are not sadistic and evil but the roles they occupy are. If this game were real life, the graphic content corresponds to what I hope is an authentic representation of what psycho killers would do in this given setting.

It does seem at odds with my goofy demeanor in games but I suppose I take hosting more as srsbsnss than playing. The context of the first Mad Max film warrants some graphic content to convey the desperate situation the townsfolk are in. Civilization is collapsing around them in the movie. Perhaps, on some level, I want the civvies to have a parallel mental state as those poor souls in the film. And perhaps that's going too far because I still want you all to have fun. Can you be nauseated by graphic content but still have fun? On that matter, everyone is different.

I'll try to keep it a bit tamer from here on out but be warned that I have at least one other grim ending on tap that I've been sitting on since I posted the game for consideration. Don't be afraid to call me out when you think I've crossed a line. It'll help get better as a host.

Re: MAD MAX: Night 2

IF YOU WANT BLOOD (YOU'VE GOT IT)

Fifi Macafee sat at his desk, barking an inspirational rant into the radio for all officers to hear.

"They say people don't believe in heroes anymore. Well damn them! You boys are going to give the people back their heroes! We're going to grab these desert-riding sons of bitches by the throat and grind them into the dirt. This could be civilization's last stand, so damn the doubters and damn the paperwork! Give 'em back their heroes boys! Make me proud."

No answer. Another night of incompetence? Why not.

Fifi leaned back in his chair. Had he crossed a line? He wasn't sure. All he knew is that he would protect this town no matter what it took.

--------------------------------------------------------

Toecutter and his gang were growing bold. Since no one could prove that they killed Epignosis the night before, and as long as they behaved themselves, the police and MFP were powerless to keep them off the street. As the bars and clubs shut down for the night, the gang leader stepped out onto the street and breathed in the cool night air.

"Heavenly, the sky tonight," he said. "Don't you think so, Johnny?"

"I'd like to find a piece of heaven and stay the night if you know what I mean," the imbecile laughed.

"Now now, Johnny," Toecutter admonished. "We must carry ourselves with dignity and respect if we are to be accepted here." At that very moment, he collided with a woman coming out of a club.

"Pardon me, ma'am," he said with a bow.

"Watch where you're going, you clowns," she shot back.

"I assure you," Toecutter said as he took the woman's hand, "this was an unfortunate accident and by no means reflective of my character."

"Let go of me, you creep!" the woman shouted. She slapped him across the cheek, drawing blood with one of her rings. Toecutter stood stunned on the sidewalk and the woman took off in a huff.

"So much for respect," Johnny howled.

Toecutter sneered at the woman. "Boys, I think we need to teach that lady a lesson."

"And what lesson is that?" Cundalini asked.

Toecutter wiped his cheek and gazed at the blood dotting his fingertips. "That the degree of kindness and hospitality you give to others comes back around to you."

"Reap what you sow," Bubba said with stolid approval.

Before S~V~S could react, the gang was upon her. She kicked and screamed as best she could but no one was coming to her aid tonight. Fear kept people away from opportunities to do good and stand up to the madness. Thus, the madness consumed her.

They bound her arms to one of the motorcycles and dragged her through the streets. S~V~S momentarily forgot about the pain of her legs being stripped raw by the asphalt when one of her shoulders dislocated. That pain was forgotten about only when her tibiae shattered when she slammed into a lamppost when the motorcycle took a wide turn.

At some point, S~V~S passed out. When the bikers noticed her body had gone limp and silent, they stopped. One by one, they took turns running over her body until they were satisfied with her punishment.

"Let this be a lesson to all of them," Toecutter said. "If respect is not shown, mercy will not be extended."

--------------------------------------------------------

S~V~S was killed by Toecutter's gang.

Re: MAD MAX: Day 2

NO FUN

It had been a tense day since Epignosis's car and body were found by the warehouses at dawn. Two people dead and no sign of competency from the MFP so far. The people were restless. They eyed the MFP with half-contempt. Their tax dollars paid for all their training, their toys, and their joy rides but they can't produce when it's really necessary? Yeah, that'd piss you off a little bit too.

After killing one of their own and letting the public down last night, the MFP boys were feeling the pressure to produce. Tips were flying in left and right. They wanted to take them all seriously but they were cautious not to get too physical with any of the suspects. No more accidents.

One tip seemed promising. Rather than approach him in the public square, the MFP boys approached Rick O'Shay in the privacy of his auto shop.

"Don't you boys have your own mechanics there at the Halls of Justice?" the suspect asked.

"Yep," one office replied. "We're don't need you to rotate our tires. We need you to rotate your priorities and stop causing trouble."

Another office groaned. "Really, mate? That's the best you could come up with?"

"Shove off," the first office said. "I thought it was mighty clever."

While the officers bickered over the merits of lame quips, Ricochet slipped out of the garage. When the officers finally noticed, a chase ensued. Ricochet managed to evade capture and made his way into the heart of town, where passersby stopped and stared and the fracas.

"Slippery little bastard, this one is" one office complained as Ricochet broke free from his grasp for the fifth time.

"I've had enough of this," the other officer shouted. He grabbed a tire iron and brought it down with a crack on Ricochet's skull. He wilted on the spot, landing face up on the street.

"Dammit," the other officer said, "Fifi told us not to kill this one. Who is he?"

"Isn't it obvious? I mean, we went to an auto shop. His auto shop. He ain't one of them."

"He don't exactly look like one of us though. Looks like the kind of rat that would sit on the fence and side with whoever was winning."

"Maybe, but right now we got to get him off the street. Grab his legs."

KICKED IN THE TEETH

Fifi Macafee held his head in his hands. Could anything else possibly go wrong today? First, a biker gang was harassing the town. Second, a trigger-happy office wasted a fellow MFP member. Third, none of his remaining officers were on the same page.

Sending everyone out solo for the night seemed like such a simple idea but it turned out to be a spectacular failure. Officers were using the wrong channels to call out to their partners, helping to reduce the chaos in the streets by exactly zero percent.

“Can any of you knuckleheads out there hear me?” he asked into his radio.

Nothing.

“Anybody at all?” he tried again.

Nothing.

“Tomorrow night I’m bringing beer,” Fifi grumbled.

------------------------------------------

In the shadows of town, Toecutter smiled. This town seemed too big to take but the bronze were falling all over themselves to hand it to them. What a wonderful turn of events.

Johnny and Cundalini were carrying on and knocked over a trash can. The noise startled a man getting into his car across the street. When the man saw the bikers in the alley, he gasped and took off in his car. Toecutter put his arms out as if he would take both of his stooges by the throat but stopped within inches from their necks.

“Boys will be boys but boys need to be more careful,” he hissed at them. “Bubba,” he said, turning to his second in command. He nodded his head toward the street. Bubba smiled and walked to his motorcycle.

It only took a minute to catch up with the fleeing man. Bubba crept up on the rear of the car. Inside, sweat poured down the man’s face as he looked in the rear-view mirror. In an instant, he made a sharp correction, as he had been drifting into the opposing lane. Bubba stayed on him like a magnet.

Panicking, the man made a fatal error by heading toward the outskirts of town. Perhaps there would be refuge and a way to lose his pursuer out by the warehouses. After a series of last-second turns, the man thought he had lost the biker. He was wrong.

Bubba’s bike flew around the next corner and pulled alongside the driver’s side door. Poor Epignosis didn’t think to sideswipe his attacker. Those sort of sensible tactics never seem to come to mind when you’re afraid for your life.

Bubba pulled out his pistol and shot Epignosis in the side of the head. His body slumped forward and slid to the right as blood oozed from his temporal lobe. The motion of his body turned the wheel of the car, steering it toward a loading ramp for one of the abandoned warehouses.

It was a spectacular crash. The car flipped, rolled, and skid to a stop on its roof. Between the broken glass and his face scraping along the asphalt, Epi’s face was made unrecognizable. Thank God for license plates.

------------------------------------------

EPIGNOSIS was killed by Toecutter’s gang.

Re: MAD MAX: Day 1

NOT RIGHT

A man walked up the sidewalk through town bouncing and bopping in an upbeat way. If there wasn’t a homicidal biker gang lurking about town, no one would have thought ill of it. But when there is a homicidal biker gang lurking about town, you sure as hell think ill of it. The threat of anarchy and violence should chase off any impetus to bounce and bop.

“Something’s not right about that one,” someone murmured from inside a store.

“You’re right,” the shopkeeper agreed. He called the local precinct to alert them of this suspicious behavior.

“Bouncing and bopping?” the voice on the other end of the phone said. “We’ll send someone right away.”

-------------------------------------------

Scotty was just going about his day, trying to remain upbeat, when an MFP Interceptor came screeching around the corner, siren wailing and lights flashing. He looked behind him to see what chaos the MFP might be heading toward but the street behind him was empty, save for a few scowling people poking their heads out of storefronts.

He turned back to see the Interceptor skid to a halt a few feet away. Two officers leapt out of the car, weapons drawn.

“Stop where you are!” one shouted.

“Me?” the stunned man asked.

“Yes, you! Who are you and what are you up to?”

“I’m Scotty and I’m just out for a walk.”

“Out for a walk?” the officer balked. “Who goes out for a walk in times like these?”

“Well,” Scotty said, “it sure beats sitting at home feeling all scared.”

“Not afraid of these freaks, eh?” the other office asked. “Maybe that’s because you’re one of them. On the ground!”

Rather than comply, Scotty cocked his head and put his hands on his hips to convey disbelief. An instant later, Scotty collapsed in a heap as after a bullet tore through his skull.

“He looked like he was reaching for something!” the second officer declared. He holstered his still smoking firearm and pointed at his partner. “You saw it! Right?”

“Sure,” his partner replied. Doubt was painted all over his face. “Whatever keeps the paperwork clean.”

The stood there, staring at the body for a minute, hesitant to act.

“Well,” the first officer said, pointing to the body, “go check him out.”

“Why me?”

“Because you bloody well shot him, now didn’t you?”

“Yeah. Right.” He walked over and fished through the dead man’s pockets/purse and found a wallet. The officer's head slumped forward.

"What is it?" his partner asked.

"I'm going to catch bloody hell for this one. I don't know why he said his name was Scotty. Oh hell!"

"What are you getting at?"

"It's Charlie. Dammit I killed Charlie."

"Oh for Christ's sake."

-------------------------------------------

SCOTTY has been lynched. He was CHARLIE, an MFP officer.

Re: MAD MAX: Day 1

RIFF RAFF
-------------------------------------------
Fifi Macafee walked into the precinct with a stern look on his face. The whole MFP force had been called in for a special meeting. Usually these affairs were standard-issue lectures about keeping the paperwork clean but everyone could tell this was something different.

"Trouble's brewing, boys," he said. "This Nightrider fellow that Max wasted was part of a gang the likes of which we haven't seen before. Headed up by a man calling himself the Toecutter."

"Sounds like a perfectly delightful and reasonable fellow," Goose joked. Everybody snickered.

"This Toecutter fellow is pretty loyal to his followers. He picked up the body of the Nightrider in Wee Jerusalem earlier today with his band of freaks. The whole town is spooked silly of these guys."

"Did they say they' come back?" Roop asked.

"They left but didn't go far," Fifi explained. They're hanging around the outskirts of Wee Jerusalem, which means they're right on our doorstep. Rumor has it they're looking for revenge for the Nightrider's death."

"It was nice knowing you Max," Goose gibed. He hummed a funeral march as nervous laughter passed around the room.

"I want you all to take this seriously," Fifi warned. "These lunatics don't know what Max looks like but they can spot an officer from a distance. That makes us all targets. All the people and homes and businesses in this town and Wee Jerusalem are depending on us to send these bastards packing. Do whatever you got to do but..."

"Keep the paperwork clean," the others all chimed in unison.

'Make 'em hurt boys. Show them that law and order still exists here."

Re: MAD MAX: Day 0

We're over 13 hours into Day 0. So far, eight of the 19 players have yet to check into the game. Four of those have not read their role card PM yet. If anyone is in contact with insertnamehere, MacDougall, motel room, and/or sanmateo outside of this site, please let them know the game has started. I'd like for all the role card PMs to be read at the very least before we go into Day 1.

Is this a new general game mechanic for this community or is anyone else scratching their heads at this?
The participation requirement I added sort of makes this threat moot. I don't think someone who signs up and barely even dials it in should get win credit under the dead-or-alive wincon. I played for years where you had to be alive at the end of the game in order to get credit for a win. Dead-or-alive is foreign to me so I safeguard against extreme circumstances.

Re: MAD MAX: Pregame

ROLES:

MAIN FORCE PATROL
MAX ROCKATANSKY: Member of the MFP and devoted husband. Each night he looks for his wife and son. He will gain BTSC with either of them when he finds them. If both Jessie and Sprog die while Max is still in the game, he will go mad (MAD I say!) and go rogue, killing every night and can then only win if he is the last man standing. As long as both Jessie and Sprog are alive, Max can survive the first NK attempt on him and the kill will rebound on his attacker.

FIFI MACAFEE: Chief of the MFP and trying to locate his patrolmen. Each night he calls out over the radio for his men. He can check a one player each night to see if they are part of the MFP.

JIM GOOSE: Member of the MFP and tough as hell. He can survive the first attempt on his life (lynch or NK).

SARSE: Member of the MFP and patrol partner of Scuttle. Each night he searches for Scuttle. If they find each other, they will gain BTSC.

SCUTTLE: Member of the MFP and patrol partner of Sarse. Each night he searches for Sarse. If they find each other, they will gain BTSC.

ROOP: Member of the MFP and patrol partner of Charlie. Each night he searches for Charlie. If they find each other, they will gain BTSC.

CHARLIE: Member of the MFP and patrol partner of Roop. Each night he searches for Roop. If they find each other, they will gain BTSC.

COMMISSIONER LABATOUCHE: Concerned primarily with finances, Labatouche wants to know how many patrolmen are running around spending his money. Each night he can request a status report on any MFP patrolman (role, not player). The report will tell him if that patrolman is still alive. He has to check all MFP agents presumed alive (he doesn't have to check NK'd ones) before he can check for any a second time.

CIVILIANS
JESSIE ROCKATANSKY: Vanilla civvie. She can gain BTSC with Max if he locates her.

SPROG ROCKATANSKY: Vanilla civvie. He can gain BTSC with Max if he locates him.

BARRY, THE MFP MECHANIC: Though not a part of the MFP, he can help them. If the player he selects at night is part of the MFP, he will add a little boost to his vehicle. Successful targets receive either a negative vote or a NK protect, whichever comes in handy first but will not know they have the protection.

SILVERTONGUE: A cowardly lawyer, Silvertongue may stop one lynch during the game. If he uses it to save himself or a member of Toecutter's gang, his votes will not count for the rest of the game.

MAY SWAISEY: Don't let the sweet little old lady thing fool you. May is tough as nails and fiercely protective. Each night, she may protect any player of her choice.

STATION MASTER: Timid and feeble, the Station Master of Wee Jerusalem is terrified of Toecutter's gang. If he votes for any member of Toecutter's gang, his vote will not count.

GREASE RAT: He looks out for #1 in both business and life. If he is visited (checked/targeted) by a member of the MFP at night, he will be told about it in the morning. If multiple people target him at night, he will be given a list of all their names and he will be told if a member of the MFP is among them but won't know who. If Toecutter's Gang tries to NK the Grease Rat, all of his accumulated information will be shared with them in exchange for his life. He can win with either side but he must be alive at the end of the game to win.

SKAGS
TOECUTTER: Leader of the dangerous biker gang terrorizing the countryside. Every night he selects who to kill and which member of his gang will do the killing.

BUBBA ZANETTI: He is Toecutter's second in command and takes over leadership if Toecutter dies. Each night he can block one player of his choice by tampering with their vehicle.

CUNDALINI: A loyal member of Toecutter's gang and lucky too. He will survive his first brush with death (lynch or NK) but his vote will not count after that. He takes over if both Toecutter and Bubba are dead.

JOHNNY THE BOY: The newest member of Toecutter's gang. Takes over leadership if Toecutter, Bubba, and Cundalini die. Otherwise, a vanilla baddie.

RULES AND WHATNOT

Gameplay
1. Days are 48 hours long.
2. Nights are 24 hours long, but all PMs must be sent to the host within 23 hours so night posts can be written in a timely fashion.
3. Only those players who have BTSC may communicate with each other outside of the game thread but ONLY in designated BTSC threads or chat rooms. For everyone else, no game-related discussion is permitted outside the game thread.
4. Votes in the poll are the only votes that count. It's helpful but not mandatory that you declare your vote in the thread in a way that stands out to the host.
5. All votes are changeable all the way up to the deadline.
6. A tied lynch will result in no lynch. Votes matter. There will be no coin flips to determine lynch results. :workit:
7. Wincons are dead or alive unless otherwise specified in your role. The host reserves the right to deny win credit to those players who fail to pull their own weight.
8. Dead is dead; you don't get to come back from that. Dead players will have their BTSC rights removed.
9. Roles will only be revealed in lynch posts unless otherwise necessary to the mechanics of the game.

Rules
1)Respect your fellow players, your host, and your MOD.
1a) Don't be an asshat.
1b) Don't get butthurt.
2) If you feel like another player is out of line or making/taking things personal/ly, contact the MOD, JULIETS.
3) No BTSC regarding the game outside of the game thread(s). Players are told in their rolecard if they have BTSC. If you don't have it, don't engage in it. Violating this rule will result in a modkill.
4) No editing or deleting posts.
5) Self-voting is permitted.
6) Double-targeting is not allowed.
7) Info-dumping and/or role-claiming is forbidden.
8) Off-topic posts should be in OT Green.
9) Dead players are to post in Dead Red.
10) Non-Players should post in Non-Player Blue. We'll have a spectator chat if you're really interested in game details.
11) This is the host's color. Do not post in this color.
12) Participation is mandatory. Anyone who misses two votes AND fails to post during that time will be automatically replaced. If no replacements are available, a modkill may occur. If you sign up, please play. If you can't play, request replacement.
