That said, I haven't re-watched LOST since it ended because I'm afraid to reconfront the ending, thinking I will hate it more this time rather than initially feeling good about it but gradually turning indifferent the more I thought about it in the weeks after finale. Re: LOST
To me, Season 6 just seemed like an entirely different show. The showrunners kept so much of the Island mythology bottled up and then dumped it on us, beginning with The Temple and ending with Jacob & MIB's history. They should have injected a little bit more of all that starting with Season 4 t...

I'm doing the same thing G-man! but luckily for me moving to a different country weeded out books like that. Last year I started a quest to read every single book that my wife and I own. I'm still working on the first book:
Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary- Tenth Edition (1996)
I may have bit off more than I can chew.

Re: Poll Innovations Poll
I like the idea of weighting your votes. It could be accomplished with a little extra legwork. Here is how I see it being accomplished: First, Member X decides which games to vote for. They cast their votes using the poll system, which will register each vote as counting as 1:1. Then Member X lists ...

PART 5 OF 8: June of 1946 brought about great changes in Italy. Thanks. Back when I played I think hosts would give 24 hours between the sending of roles and the start of the game. Basically a Day 0 is that same thing but also provides a chance for players to begin interacting with each other. It makes sense.

I personally like the same well, but that would depend on the nature of the powers. In a one Mafia game in which the kill stays with the Mafia, Mafia inheriting a "protect" power is useless to them. Civilians generally gain little from a silencing power. I see what you mean. The game woul...
