Not sure if I feel proud or embarrassed.

But I didn't read it until we got home from Austin, and neither did Austin. That said, I was pretty sure Epi was bad too, from the time just before I died on. I wouldn't have called Dom, but that is because frankly Dom, you are so far off your norm I couldn't figure you out and it wasn't like a meta change, I just chalked it up to real life stuff or something.
S~V~S wrote:I got stuck late at work.
Speedchuck, you are doing a super job of being sincere. I am having a hard time thinking you could be bad.
So at this time I am gonna vote for Sorsha, becasue I honestly don't think Epi or Dom are bad. If one of them is, it is more likely to be Dom, though. But I feel better about him than about Sorsha, I guess.
So I am gonna vote now, after I walk the dog I will eat in front of the computer.![]()
I knew if I posted but didn't do it that would set him off.
Fun times were had with baddie G-Man in Battlestar Galactica. I think that was the only time I've been bad in my two years here (aside from subbing in as an outed baddie role in Dom's Bullets Over Broadway game, which was an out-right hoot). S~V~S was my teammate in BSG and I agree with what Golden said about watching her play as a baddie.Quin wrote:I don't think I've ever seen a bad G-Man, actually.
Foo on that. My roleplay and corny shenanigans shouldn't make up for the fact that I'm a piss-poor civvie.Golden wrote:Truth needs no explanation, G-Man.

Taking a chance and voting for speedchuck. I'm sorry I didn't do more with my role. I'm sorry I couldn't do better. I'm sorry if I cost us the game.#1- The first time I met some of you after joining The Syndicate.
If we mislynch, I think the game is over automatically because I'm a goner. I don't have time to put anything in the thread now. We just have to hope we get a baddie with this lynch or the lynch fails, buying you all another day and me some time to ISO and theorize like hell.Quin wrote:G-Man, you're dying tonight. Try your best to get everything you can possibly think of into the thread, and we'll get you that win.

Feel free to offer your thoughts on voting for Sorsha too.Sorsha wrote:Sorry for not being around. Packing and moving this weekend... voting DF though as I said yesterday
G-Man wrote:Five Reasons Sorsha Might Be Mafia:
1) She hid behind roleplay for just about all of Day 1. She did that when she was a baddie in Season 2.
2) She flaked out on the game for almost all of Day 2, save for one post. Baddies don't like to ask for replacements. It's tempting to try to coast to victory, which is easier to do in some of these Heist games, sadly.
3) She missed two votes in a row, which makes her impossible to evaluate, given how little she's posted.
4) On Day 3, she said she's try to catch up. On Night 3, she said she was still behind and needed to catch up. Was she really trying to catch up or just buying herself more time
5) I get Lazy Rotten Deborah vibes something fierce for her.
Five Reasons Sorsha Might Be Civvie:
1) Most of her absence can probably be explained by her focus on Survivor Mafia. (this is why I try not to play more than one game at a time)
2-5) Yeah, I got nothing.
#2- The first time Sloonei called me his hero.
G-Man wrote:Five Reasons Speedchuck Might Be Mafia:
1) He spent most of Day 1 posting but adding nothing of substance.
2) He mentions he'd almost rather force a tie than lynch either notsawyer or nutella on Day 2. Perhaps he knew and this was him playing 'uncertain civvie' as little too loosely?
3) The top half of his colorless rainbow was pretty spot-on.
4) He's tightened up his game the longer the game has progressed.
5) There's a lot of posts expressing his thoughts on the thoughts and theories of others but I feel like there's not enough expressing his own thoughts.
Five Reasons Speedchuck Might Be Civvie:
1) He's newer here and still trying to get used to all of our varying personalities.
2) I feel inclined to give a new guy the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes to a fault though.
3) He had a good, pointed question to S~V~S regarding her "second silly vote looks worse than the third" bit.
4) He's tightened up his game the longer the game has progressed.
5) n/a

You proclaim your idea to be the definition of a "traditional" godfather even though it seems that's not the case for the rest of us. Your post lacks the context of Golden's use of such a role in BSG.Epignosis wrote:I went and looked back. Both previous installments have a "Mafia Godfather." I couldn't tell what the first one meant, but the second one couldn't be tracked or checked- it wasn't a traditional "Godfather."
So no, that doesn't look good for DF, but he may in fact be a traditional manner of "Godfather." If that's true, then it means you're wasting lynches on him while his cronies keep on keeping on.
...is flat-out wrong. If DFaraday gets the most votes today, AND has the impervious godfather role you ascribed to him, the game does not end today. It is currently 5-v-3. If DFaraday survives the lynch, I die tonight and then you have one final chance to get it right in a 4-v-3 on Day 5.Epignosis wrote:If DF is a traditional Mafia godfather, and he gets the most votes, the game is over, and the civilians don't win.
Fell victim to some bad luck and led some well-intended lynches against all the wrong people. It was quite possibly the worst game of yours that I've seen, results-wise. You and Long Con tried and failed at just about every turn. I can see why you might pull back a little after a game like that.Epignosis wrote:What happened to me?G-Man wrote:From what happened to you in Blue vs. Red, I can't blame you if this is true and that's a big part of why I have you low on my list.Epignosis wrote:I'm a civilian who has been lazy. For my money, I'll give you that your role (survive a brush with death and have a one-time kill shot) makes little to no sense for a baddie. But, given that the baddies have to contend with not being able to kill a confirmed civvie until Night 4, it's plausible but a stretch. Your "give a sh*t" argument doesn't matter much to me because every single one of us has had lousy participation at at least one point this game, myself included. The only nagging doubt in my mind is that I fed you the whole paralyzing spider bit. Would Golden the CowardQuin wrote:I don't believe that a completely vanilla baddie team is balanced against three roles which can survive attempts on their life AND can kill. One of us is bad. G-Man is confirmed (and untouchable, anyway) which leaves me and DF.
So, go nuts.
I have my concerns with S~V~S based on earlier points that I raised. My concern with following you in that direction is that you could be a baddie trying to lead us to one final mislynch. Your theory about DFaraday made me wonder. Most godfathers I recall running into in games either appear civvie when role-checked or they can survive one lynch attempt. Unless I'm oblivious to it, the first game I played where a baddie godfather couldn't die until all his lackeys are gone was Battlestar Galactica. Then again, that was a Golden game, so perhaps we should be wary of him recycling such a deliciously evil mechanic. So maybe you are a baddie bringing up the BSG-esque godfather for no reason just to scare us because DFaraday is vulnerable today and you're trying to end the game, or you are a baddie who is raising this point because it is true and you're still trying to steer us in the wrong direction to end it. The third option is you are a baddie that is telling the truth and pointing us at your other teammate to establish cred to fleece the rest of the civs on Day 5. You could be a civvie though and I have trouble making heads or tails of you.Epignosis wrote:Why hasn't anyone commented on my case against S~V~S? That's where I'm voting today unless someone persuades me otherwise.
Felt worse about her than Epi and speedchuck. I'm still mulling you all everybody over in my head. This is LYLO after all.Quin wrote:Tell me why killing Spacedaisy is helpful.
Fact. Descending color order based on the number of votes (though I don't use the same color for people with the same number of votes to avoid confusion). Red is only used for the player who is lynched, hence why no one is in red for Day 3.speedchuck wrote:I'm still not sure I get the colors. Is it the number of votes on them?
Found out early on what happens if there is a tie. Also, the random factor could have resulted in a baddie getting lynched but we weren't that lucky.S~V~S wrote:How does forcing artificial ties even after people try to save themselves by moving votes help the civvies?G-Man wrote:Functionality speaking, how does the element of surprise rather than baddie hunting help the civvies?
Funny you should bring that up. You know who appeared to die in Season 3 but came back later? This guy:Quin wrote:Hey speedchuck, why am I not Mr. Confirmed Townie right now? Lost doesn't have zombies.
G-Man wrote:S~V~S, technicolor vote analysis is all about looking at who voted, when, and how that might indicate teammate behavior. Technicolors are completely useless for SK hunting. The "red groups" you refer to are only in read red because those people voted for the person who got the most votes and/or got lynched on a given day. Each day has a new red group unless there is no lynch. My first takeaway is that, on Day 1, the baddies weren't interested in participating much in the EoD crazy that went down. I'll have to go back and check the timing of those votes but it makes sense for baddies to vote early- to mid- pack and let the civvies shoot themselves in the foot.
From the lynch result, we know that there was no effort to save Llama, as he was a civvie. Looking at the technicolors, the only person who might have benefited from gaining cred by helping Llama avoid the noose or by appearing to help Llama avoid the lynch is Epi. There's no save cred for DFaraday's vote for speechuck since his vote ended up being the first one in the tally after all the switching. DFaraday also gains nothing for his Day 2 vote on notsawyer since it was an early vote and for a civ. Epi gains a fraction of cred for starting the secondary train on nutella and that could grow stronger if nutella is lynched and flips mafia. Votes alone don't tell the whole story. We'll have to go back and look at posts to determine why they voted for the person they voted for and if there are any reasons they did not vote for any of the other people who got votes.
