Would you rather know the exact day and time that you are going to die or the exact days and times that the rest of your family are going to die?

If I had the cash, I’d buy a fully-restored factory gold 1966 Pontiac Tempest. I fixed one up (with a LOT of help from my uncle) for a high school graduation project but ended up selling it after college.


Would you rather eat hot dogs or chicken nuggets for dinner the rest of your life?

Pool in my yard. Homeowners insurance for beachfront property is ghastly.


Would you rather attend the Super Bowl or the World Cup final?

Go alone to a place I love. Some of those places a thin, if you know what I mean.


Would you rather sit in a bathtub full of snakes or an open coffin full of spiders?

Both, really. I guess more are on the walls though.


Would you rather go to Disneyland or Disney World?

Drive, just because I do most of the driving when we go on trips.

Would you rather steal something valuable or destroy something historic?

SUV, but a mid-size one. I don’t need to overcompensate for anything; I just need to cart people and stuff around.


Would you rather act on stage or in films?

Dishes take less time.


Would you rather watch a movie or read a book?

Wait until Tuesday. I need a long weekend.


Would you rather cook a fancy dinner or wash the dishes afterwards?

Mage, I guess. Sounds a little more interesting and far less formal.

Would you rather play mafia but never get to host it or host mafia but never get to play it?

I would rather be tall. I feel like I could be more useful somehow that way.

Would you rather know when you're going to die or know that your life will amount to nothing no matter how long you live?

When. Knowing how would just make me jittery every time I was in a potential situation for it. When would give me time to accept it and plan ahead.

Be four years younger or ten years older?

Pterodactyl. I have been known to correct people’s grammar from time to time, so why not spelling too?

Never be able to text/post/email with punctuation and capital letters or never be able to text/post/email with emojis?

Warmer by a hair. I live in a region that gets cold enough in the winter. I don’t want more of that.

Would you rather have to drink salt water with every dinnertime meal for the rest of your life or drink 4 ounces of your own urine once a week for the rest of your life?

Industrial treads for legs. I hate healing; I’m a miserable patient.


Pie or cake?

It depends entirely on the donut and muffin I'm deciding between, as well as my disposition that morning. I love a good blueberry muffin, but it has to be moist. Otherwise, I will probably opt for the more accessible donut option.


Attend the Game 7 of the World Series or Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals?

I would opt for a shorter alphabet. I've read the dictionary, and there are too many archaic spellings that lead to confusing attempts to write out. As a result, some words could be shorter, though some might end up longer as well. Shortening the English alphabet would also allow us to finally change the key settings on our keyboards. The QWERTY and home rows are relics of the swing-arm typewriter era to prevent jams that no longer happen.

I would have to say remove my ability to taste; that way (I hope) I don't actually taste things whenever I try one of those seemingly very interesting or very healthy foods/drinks/smoothies and not feel the immediate urge to throw-up. I'll miss the great taste of my favorite brands for pizza, chocolate milk, tea, cheeseburgers, and fries though.

No chairs/stools. Without tables, it’s more difficult to play games and put puzzles together. I sit too much at work as it is.

(Also, bold choice on no taste. I had COVID and lost my sense of taste for a few days. Having eating reduced to temperature and texture was unnerving, because some things I eat have strange texture that flavor distracts from.)


Would you rather see the world without color or hear the world in mono?

Imaginary world with no other people. I could easily go all Tom Hanks and spend my days talking to a volleyball.

Would you rather give up your ability to hear or your ability to taste?

Sweet food. Sometimes spicy food upsets my stomach for the rest of the night.

Eat pizza or stromboli?

April Fool’s, because they’re typically more light-hearted.


Skydive or bungee jump?

Feeling good about yourself in a boring life. I'm already doing that one!
