Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)

Ill switch to bass, too
he is hinting he has info on MM, as when he says he is "95% sure". He is either lying or a very confused civvie. I lean to he is lying.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)

This makes no sense. MM has been civvie minsed, open to discussion, helping with the secrets, being helpful all around and now everyone wants to vote for him? This makes no sense.
Svs, do u actually think mm is bad?
Br what do u think?
Lc i ve seen you as one who in general in this game was eager to discuss posibilities and now you just go with mm?
Fz what do u think? Devin?

Im not shocked at timmer or bass voting for him, since timmer might wannq get suspicion off him and intO someone else and im not sure i trust bass

Anyways, can we discuss before tossing votes mms way? I think its a huge mistake

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 5)

In your mind control you were specificqlly told not to mention timmer?

Kind of twisted. I mean, if timmer himself did it, it seems too obvious but also clever in an a "i wouldnt do something that obvious" kind of way, and if someone else did it, it could make you focus on timmer or have him in the back of your head as a suspish. Something to think about

S~V~S wrote:For whomever asked yesterday about my thoughts on Sophie, it was TH I believe, I had some very distinct thoughts on her. She felt floundery but civ, based on both things in and out of thread. But her vote yesterday was disturbing to me. Which is why I asked her that question ^^ (Note to self: Sherry, learn to think before hitting "Submit", you may have more to say) because I would have expected her to have done something different on a short read of the thread.

And LC, I read your whole post & your whole case. It was lovely :cloud9: but it was still wrong :suspish:

You can craft an amazing post that takes you weeks to write, but if it says what yours did, it would be wrong, and that is the salient point as far as I am concerned. I can do a point by point for you later (overslept this AM, only tiny online time before work, and now that I am driving again, no bus leisure time, either, anymore)

I am assuming Bass was silenced yesterday since I know he was on site and did not post here. I look forward to hearing his take on this lynch. TH is defending Timmer verging on Cap't Obvious territory, which gives me some pause. Don't know why he would do such a thing while bad, but based on my worldview of this game, can't see how else that would work. I have detectives in mind, I have a CC/HW in mind. so... urh.
Mp was all over the place. At some point he was almost like confessing baddie status. I dont know why he would act like that as an independent, still dont know.
The other suspect was timmer, who i ve been reading abd thinkin about...like i said before, im reading him as civvie, but it wouldnt been the first time he fooled me, so i kept my eye on him anyway, and actually brs theory that he was mind controlling people made me think about voting for him, until....some people started "vouching" for him, wich made his claim that he is a civvie a bit more likely. It seems he has btsc with a couple of people (via map) and somehow is making peeps like th thinks he is legit. That gave me pause on timmer again. Until mp did all his act and took over the thread with thaf overwhelmingly suspiciod beahviour i still dont get.

So im still open about timmer. And i reafirm my suspicion on rabbit (i ve saying it since day 1), and would have voted him if he had 1 vote and mp didnt do what he did. I also need to rethink something about bass, based on thing i know and some of his posts.... bbl with more thoughts

In fact, I've got a hilarious idea which I won't share til close to my lynch (whether that's day four or day fifty) that might lead to a decent suspect. It's the kind of theory that, if you share it too soon, you warn the baddies against taking the action that would otherwise condemn them. As for proving people shouldn't be listened to, certain people are acting like I'm so obviously bad and they should obviously be listened to and followed (one of these was BF, fwiw) and so proving them wrong would correct that a little.

Linki - There's still a 50% chance I'm an Old Rogue, and a reasonable chance I'm independent. In that case, I'd be siding with the civs because as much as I say indies are lame for always doing that, there's a good reason why it happens.
this intrigued me, the theory on how to trap baddies and if it was applied before.
what do u mean you wont share it close to your lynch? are u close to be lynched? as far as i know only llama and one or two other people mentioned you?

so, this is interesting
first, RIP DH
second, i think it was a wise decision to kill roxy from the detectives, i dont see her being good
also, the theory of aces and roxy being both bad and making up the btsc thing seems interesting
also, now people are voting timmer and timmer is coming up with this ideas but he does seem sincere, or is he fooling me?
rabbit is still being weird

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Night 3)

okay, so bf was lynced and he was a civvie, that sucks.
aces/roxy, i need to reread that combo
there are a bunch of people mentioning timmer, and i thinks its worth it to reread him too
rabbit, as in every game it seems, just comes and says he suspects LC. But in this one he doesnt add anything at all almost, like i said before, he doesnt seem usual rabbit or maybe he is, but somethings off, imo.
roxy seemed weird, theres something that doesnt sit right with me when i read her posts, aces seems civvier than roxy in appearence, but their whole defense is just odd, gonna reread
the whole bf lynch was too fast and votes piling up with almost no reason, also worth noticing

i reckon im very behind but im willing to catchup and comment on everything and try to help

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 2)

Look guys, im really really busy to the point that while i type this i have my little brother waiting for me to go to lunch standing two feet away from me. him coming to visit me was unexpected, cause he is having problems wth my parents (he lives with them) in my natal city 500 km away from here, on friday he called me with problems and on saturday he bought the ticket and yesterday morning he was here. im trying my best to keep up, but to add my little brother to my usual schedule and i seriously dont have time for anything. i hardly ever see him so im making plans to do things he wants and i feel bad for abandoning him or leaving him alone while i hardly see him just for playing mafia. specially now that he is in a bad place in life and im trying to help him.
i dont wanna quit or anythinh, cause my free time will increase a lot from the next monday on, so its just this week im asking to beare with me. im always a high contributor in every game, always high poster, i never let days by without posting, i never do that, so i think its fair for my to ask for a little patience this week wich is gonna be much much busier than anticipated. i already see people mentioning me and probably others will or baddies will use names dropping to jump in and i REALLY dont have time to defend myself, so i please please ask to beare with me and have a little patience until im more free. i promise im good (really good :srsnod: ) this game and actually pretty useful. and those who know me know i will not lie about this just to be able to not stop, that will be stupid and SO something ill never do. so this is it for me, if you wanna bring me as a suspect or lynch me for being busy just for this week, so be it, but it will be stupid.
if you want to beare with me and have patience because an unexpected occurence happened in my life and i have to deal with it and it will be over in less than a week (in where i will still try to post and vote but dont expect a lot for me, dont expect what you always get for me cause i literally dont have time), it will pay up later big time i promise cause i can help and be super helpful for the civvies to win this.
so please beare with me.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 1)

LC vs rabbit seems too....rogger rabbit.
rabbit is acting weird, though. Upon reading him go against LC, he seemed like he was under some kind of curse or kinda faking something, and this is coming from someone who usually thinks rabbit is a civvie. Yeah, i pretty much always thinks he is civvie, even if he is baddie. but i dont know, something seemed off in his posts.

but this is just an impression after a very fast read of the last 3 pages. beare with me, but ive been super busy today (election day here in BA) and my brother is coming to visit me tomorrow. add that to work and university and boyfriend and you got a picture. i will be reading and contributing as much as i can, but this is not gonna be a week with much free time for me. at least until next monday, cause first my brother comes, then my grandma turns 90 and we both travel to our natal city, so all in all is an insane week.

i will do my best to remain updated.

having said so, gotta go to sleep now, its super late, but will be back tomorrow to read and reread players that caught my attention. mainly epi and bullz, but also roxy, rabbit, lc and timmer. im not saying im necesarily suspicion of all of them, but some things said in the last pages caught my attention and i need to reread, go back, read again, and make my conclusions.

now to sleep its late

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 1)

Epignosis wrote:Since it has been touched on already, and even though I was trying to be tactful, I will just spell it out.

I got lynched in HSK the day before spring break started for us. I had no Mafia during spring break (I'm sorry- I don't consider LMS Mafia), and was bummed. Flash had been in sign-ups for weeks. Eloh signed up so her pouting husband could have something fun to do. I decided I would kill her Night 1 if I could, or, if that couldn't happen, I would try to get her lynched.

That's right. My wife loves me, and I'm trying to kill her.

With her having no knowledge or interest in the theme, I figured that she would commit herself if she had BTSC, and I would have left her alone (well, in that case, I still might have Night killed her, but I can't).

I say this because I'm not trying to play the Eloh expert, distract you from talking about me, be mean-spirited by going after my wife Day 1, or whatever else I've been accused of doing. She has a gazillion cakes to make, and she signed up so I could play.

That's my hidden agenda.

Thus, here I am trying to remove a player who probably is not vested in this, and who I do not think has BTSC (and is therefore unlikely to be one of the six Old Rogues), and I'm the one with the most votes.

The irony is not lost on me. :meany:

Addendum.
i understand the elo being busy with RL stuff bit, but what i dont get is you being so adamant to lynch her, if you think she isnt bad. Even if she is and will be busy, if she is a civvie, i rather try to lynch a baddie, today, tomorrow, and all game. I know uninvolved civvies do not help and, heck, im always against low posters in most games, but this is the first day and maybe elo can find time later to get involved in this. I dont think if wise for you to want to lynch her just cause she is busy. In any case, lets try to find something with the lynch, or try to at least vote for someone you think could be bad. but thinking that elo is good and try to lynch her, even if i understand your RL reasons, isnt wise for this game, imo.

this all assumming you and her are civvie, wich i dont know. but i wanted to point this out as soon as i was catching up and stumble upon this post.

Monkey Boys jokes? Epi searching for a sidekick? Or other?
A bit of both really. I always see day 0 as a doss, good for a laugh but not much else. I know I'm far from alone in that opinion. So it surprises me that so much seems to be being made out of so little.
No one is making it a big thing. Epignosis hasn't even really responded to it. I am not aggressively pursuing him. (Likely because there isn't a vote this period, but still :P ) It's not possible you are both bad two games in a row is it? :D
Sorry BF, did I touch a nerve there? Awfully defensive for someone who isn't being directly called out.
You're awfully dismissive of an idea that you shouldn't be opposed to. Whether it's what episode did or not, you can't deny that the baddies will be trying to signal to eachother.
I have to say i agree with bf here. His thoughts about baddies trying to signal eachother has merit ansmd shouldnt be instantly dissmissed.

Besides this, and epi weird call of attention, and llama being llama, i dont think that much has been going on

So made, now that you know your theory about gems is not correct, what do you think is more plausible? And will your new conclusion cause you to change your vote? :ponder:
