MP, i will be driving by the time you read this so i cant respond proper, but i feel like your taking an oppsing stance not becasue you think it but becasue your scum for it.
you and silver did the same dance in champ game, i feel like the way your going about it is not so much an "agree to disagree" but more "ME RIGHT YOU WRONG"
when i get that vibe form people i will auto scum read it outside of guts itself and poke them till a middle ground is reached, it may look like im doing the same and maybe i am but you have to realzie if you are to say "well what about XYZ as comermis" i would probally be more then ahpyp to agree as its middlegrounds

Re: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
Look, i will speak slighty on both of our behalfs but silver cna respond to this herself on this matter. You have every right to quesiton us both, im not going to try to stop that, but when we get wrong scum read for what are improper reasons (ie turf wars) we will defend regardless of alignment. defending each other is jsut a second nature thing to us. if you noticed when i was scum silver did it a lot less, when i was scum i did it even more then how im porb doing it right now.MovingPictures07 wrote:ika, I'm not trying to make anything personal, so I sincerely apologize if you feel this conversation is getting personal. You'll have to forgive me for getting frustrated because I feel as though if anyone ever questions you or Silverwolf, then they start getting scumread by either or both of you, because I've seen it happen in other games, and it's happening to me right now. You've said you had a "gut" scum read on me and you've not elaborated on it in the slightest, then Silver comes in and gives me the same thing, when all I've done is come in here and contribute and honestly express my opinions. I'm not trying to tell you how to play; I've said this. And I can't interact or gain any insight from you if all you do is throw out "gut" reads.
if we think the ohter is being attacked we will defend the other, if you are asking a genral question we wouldnt respond, have you noticed how silver only defened me to you and nobody elses convo? thats cus they are speaking in a normal tone, when i see your post (and i bet silver sees the same) i see an agresion to near attack form it. so silver will jump likewise i do the same

Anyone can change up the "way they play" at will, so I don't put any stock in what you say you normally do. Only what I observe you "normally" do, and even then hardly any stock can be put in that. People should be judged based on their behavior in the current game.
Your reads are baseless. You've stimulated no constructive conversation with them, in my opinion, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell me how to play.
i have gotten people to interact with me and have gotten sevral more reads off it. there is so much more then just "predicting" what she does as town and scum. i read what she post and look at the very mindset it comes from, i look at her agenda, i talk to her in game to sort her. it has 0 things to do with predcitibilty.
our very interactions in itself is what leads me to read her
pedit: again, let me respond to everything first, i will say that i am willing to lsiten to a lot of thing but when people go "NO" (how im perciving how your acting right now) im just gonna go full stop to it all.

this is what i call bullshit, your survival is not needed. a game can be won, alaive or dead, the argument of that is fallicious.MovingPictures07 wrote:Silverwolf, I've respectfully tried to get answers from him regarding his various reads, to which he's said "gut", so I said JUST THAT -- that I'd not put any stock in those reads if he cannot provide any elaboration, even if it is barely anything, in what I believe was a respectful manner -- and now you and I are both scum reading me for it. Mafia is a subjective experience for everyone, and everyone has their own ideas on what works and what doesn't. If what you do works for you, I say go with it and follow your dreams. It doesn't personally jive with how I play mafia, but that's cool. I'll just ignore what you say, unless you bring logic or some greater reasoning into it, and you'll ignore what I say, unless it passes the ol' gut test.
Friends?
I feel like this entire game has just gone off the rails, and has become about subjective opinions on how to play mafia instead of actually trying to find out who's bad.
i can understand not taking gut reads into much account but disregarding it entirely nad basically putting a perosn on "ignore" for it is another

And i have never really ever once said "my way is right" if you read throy dicussion i have made sevral thing that are opinionated. i dare you to quote me where i once have said in this game "your way of playing is wrong"MovingPictures07 wrote:ika, I have no desire to get into a back and forth with you regarding how the game should be played because I don't think any one person could ever proclaim in truth to know what that is. But it's clear we play in the exact opposite manner possible. My questions are in an attempt to understand where your reads are coming from and if you can't give me literally any post or even very small reason why your gut reacted a certain way I just won't be able to put any stock in your opinions. It's not discrediting. You could be either alignment, and so could anyone. I can only uncover who is mafia by attempting to uncover who is lying and I can't uncover whether you are lying when everything is based on "gut". There is no basis by which I can judge your thought process because you're not letting me in. I say all of this to explain where I'm coming from, not to discredit you or your opinions. Everyone is not out to "discredit" you if they disagree with you.
So I know I and others would appreciate if you come to reads going forward if you can at least provide some semblance of a reason so we can start to understand how your mind is coming to these conclusions.
i have jsut stated how i play, doesnt eman im right or wrong in that sense. do i take more thoughts on what i think and what silver will think if shes town? yes i will.
if your trying to understand then you need to either:
A) jsut listena nd figure it out
B0 play more games with em
im not some cagey person that tries to hide reads, its clear its guts so what more can i say then that?

it doesn't matter i you got a wound about day 1 lynch or not. its a game of mafia and if for fun and enetertianment. if you can't deal with being a day 1 lynch then maybe you shouldnt play?
i have had my own set of "always being lynched day 1" too, even worse, i would be blatantly right on people then bluntly ignored then and left alive for endgame. thats a fate much worse then day 1 "policy lynch"
ive had that as well where i would be gone and only come back to be turbo lynched, ive had that 3 seprate time, 2 of witch where i called out the scum accurately and then went on to see town lose.
So fankly i dont give a damn about your wound, and if you take offense to this then sorry but not sorry, thats mafia for you and thats the blunt truth i have for you on that said issue

I play more of a gut game too. I like your style so far.
cus its open for interpritation onw hat people think, im glad i have another gut user. what do your guts say right now
How often does he throw out the this is my town game in the first 3 pages?Silverwolf wrote:This is very typical of ika's town play. He tends to hyper post a lot as town and ask people to vote him if they suspect him. It's not a solid townread, but it's an indication he's playing as town right now. I realize it's far too early to have that set in stone.

Did i ever say such thing? if so plz quote me where i said such thing, otherwise you should know the answer to that yourself.insertnamehere wrote: Is everyone else supposed to immediately treat your gut as gospel and vote with you? Because if this is your entire strategy, I honestly am not sure why any of us should pay attention to you. If you think that just voting based on whims and fancies is a good way to play mafia, then cool. Play how you want to play. But don't expect anyone else to take you seriously.
As for people taking me seriously, i think i'm well known enough that people will still listen, i know silver will for sure.

Re: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
not really? thats jsut an opion of how mafia should be. i mean if you look at last hesit game it wasnt really "logic" that won, it was jsut a cop having more clears then the scum cna eliminate, do we call that logic?insertnamehere wrote:So, your strategy in mafia is to ignore logic completely and just go purely on vague, subjective emotion?ika wrote:and realistically if everyone played in logical format, scums should always win cus they have more info and can manipulate the situation.insertnamehere wrote: Acting defensive, as I would be in his situation, and you're just jumping on him for seemingly no actual logical reason.
If this was the GOP, that may work. (EDGY POLITICAL REFERENCE) But mafia has always been 4/5ths logic and 1/5th gut reactions. Getting rid of logic only leaves you with a 1/5 of a shot at being right.
i dont caare about odds overall, my guts work more then my logic.
that baing said, if you wanted to talk on tecnhcial stuff, everony rght now has a 6.67& chance of being scum and this number never changes

CONGRATULATION YOU HAVE NOW UNDERSTOOD MY TOWN GAME!insertnamehere wrote:
Ooh, now ika's getting super aggressive. Funny how that can be turned around.
To be honest, I don't really have any solid reasons to think you, MP, or anyone else is scum right now. I'm just hoping to stave off a randomized witch hunt.
that beign said, nothing in the game is really random, why do you think its going to be like that?
also im heading to work

"Guts" you say. Unless you can back up any of your assertions with reasoning (such as "this post made me feel good about so and so because...", even if the reason is very minuscule), then I won't be treating your early reads with any weight, with all due respect.
Never like seeing this defense thrown out so early.
No guts, no glory, though.
i can link the game si have plaed here and prove that i really dont care anyways

Re: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
so.... what MP is doing about me then?insertnamehere wrote:FUN SCUM TACTIC:
Early on, go after a civilian based on a subjective "read." Hopefully, the civilian will get super defensive, and you can use that as an impetus to lynch them. This tactic is a great way to bait civilians. Then, you can get your baddie friends to pile on, saying that they also subjectively believe that person to be fishy and scum. Hopefully, this convinces a few other civilians.
With this tactic, you can successfully eliminate logic from the game of mafia.

Well, if you see me typoing a lot thats normal.Goldy wrote:Yo! I'm in front line.
Fighting in frontline is better than any other option I think if it really helps to kill a titan, while doing nothing is most scummy thing but on other side helping to evacuate people is much likely neutral thing.
I've slight scum read on insertnamehere but I don't know what's up with sig? Though this is my first time here so I don't know much about everyone play style or regular things.
I'll try to help as much I can.

Or support the front lines or stay here and hide. I'm not familiar enough with the show to know which one of these is the best. Who is familiar enough to know this and what do you think?
