Surprisingly. He spent more time taunting you guys in the thread than he did in the BTSC chat. I think I seen him log into it maybe twice. We started Pm'ing him what we wanted him to do just to make sure he seen it lolRicochet wrote:Wait, Vompatti actually listened to you?

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
Lol that was my favorite decision of the whole game. Can't forget that one.Roxy wrote:I was cain.
Because you were almost lynched for your low activity on day 1, I wagered that if you just didnt show up again on day 2, the civs would surely lynch you for it since they almost did once. I had Uzziah silence you, and then civs took care of the rest. I was astounded that play went over so well.

People who voted for Apocalypse knew about the Bible Trivia game from day one. We were told it was coming, but not when it was happening.Ricochet wrote:Any clarification on what the D0 poll choices led to (if anything)? Us Law-voters got told to respect the commendements (rules), nothing else.

What are you talking about smooth skin?Epignosis wrote:Thanks to those who had some real skin in the game.
No really though. That line about skin and the fact that I am currently playing Fallout made me think of trying to design a Fallout game.
Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave, NCR, Tribal Raiders, so many angles I could design.

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
Another fun fact: Until Day 5, we were scrambling a bit on how to handle damage control. Every day that Uzziah was alive, we almost threw him under the bus. We were genuinely shocked that it took you guys that long to gather majority against him and not somebody else.
I tried to defend him a bit but I made it extremely neutral sounding, aside from shaming you guys for taking the easy road lmao

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
I'm kinda surprised the gifs gave it away, but I was expecting people to track it if they actually thought to. There were multiple ways in which you can do thatRicochet wrote: But, as others have already said, you have adapted well. I started thinking about your identity when you got testy during rebuttals, tbh, then the gifs definitely sealed it (but you were already dead by then, so not much of a guess anymore).
The easiest way is if you know the sprite the game is from.
The next way would be to copy the image URL, and paste it into your address bar. For instance.
http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t48 ... scary2.gif
You may notice that in there it says "XGAm3RX". That's because the sprite is hotlinked from the photobucket I own.
The most obscure way only works if you've been in my Ace Attorney thread recently. You would notice that
Is a sprite for
Dahlia Hawthorne, who is a role in my Phoenix Wright game. The most notable feature being that the hair is identical.

Well as it would so happen, I do remember who I targeted and why. Just let me give you a copy- wait mainute? It's not in my briefcase? How unfortunate. It looks like you'll never knowRicochet wrote:As always, in the interest of fully updating my spreadsheets, if any player that had a special ability can remember which players they targeted and on which nights and kindly state so in the thread, that'd be great.
I'm telling you guys some stuff but I don't give out all of my secrets. Not even to my team. Rommel here has a mind like a tank.

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
The thing I found most hilarious about that, is that you were lynched right after me. Even though you were one of the first people I tried to make a case on in the game. Read backs didnt help you guys there did itRicochet wrote:
And all because I didn't suspect Mordecai as much as others did. He seriously hid well within his posts, people! What more to say of Esther and Rahab!!
And the rules really helped you guys out here. I am used to not really having any restrictions. Info dumping and what not being allowed as long as it's something you found out or deduced within means of the rules. Unfortunately here you cannot out another player, even when they are dead.
My plan was that, in the event that I was facing guaranteed death, before I died I was going to throw a topic grenade into the thread that Nicodemus is famine, and allude that civs lose if Horseman meet their win conditions. Ya know since we nightkilled him, and only heathens know that because of deadchecking. That way it would take some heat off of heathens and force you guys to look elsewhere for completely different reasons.

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
Yeah MP when this game started I asked Epi what the punishment for missing votes is. He told me nothing unless I miss four. I initially considered missing 3 just because I could with no consequence. Then I was contemplating using missed votes to build cases on people and decided against it. That one missed vote was on purpose though.

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
One should hardly believe that someone with the title "Horseman of the Apocalypse" wishes well for anyone but himself. We didn't know what your endgame there was, so we avoided it entirely. Plus we didnt know if all the horseman knew each other, so it could have been some kind of scheme to screw us over with some kind of circumstantial activation parameterRicochet wrote:Silly Heathens, why didn't you kill Jacob when I told you?
By the way, with my experience in third parties, I was completely convinced that the horsemen were win stealers. Where if they dont die when the game ends, they win.

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
God can we edit newer posts? I completely fucked up the bottom half of mine trying to reply to Juliets because I got ninja'd.
Correction
Correction
meant to be taken in context with the previous posts to appear as "No Gods. No Disciples. No Kings. No Partiarchs. No Prophets. ONLY HEATHENS!"
Also could we get Daniel to post all the BTSC snippets he received? I am curious as to if he got any funny ones. That chat got pretty off topic at times.
And ot Juliets, my adaptation is due in part to my wonderful teammates. From the jump I made them aware that I was a new player to the site, and needed to know common terminology so that I didnt out myself because of my vocabulary.

Re: Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]
IIRC we had him marked for death on multiple nights. The reasons have long since escaped me.thellama73 wrote:Golden once again blew me away with his civilian play. That guy is epic.
Seriously, HEathens, why didn't you kill Lot? I even made it so Deborah couldn't win unless you killed him, and you still wouldn't do it. It was driving me nuts!
FUN FACT: All the heathens names were Mordecai, Uzziah, Ruth, Deborah, Esther, Rahab. If you cut out all but the first letters, it spells MURDER.
And if the civs/heathens reached parity and we won the game, my final post as Mordecai in the thread wouldve been
ONLY HEATHENS!

DAMN IT! SO CLOSE!
Good damn either way. I wasnt too shabby for a first time mafia huh?
For the record, we did kill Martha for the "hunny and dearie" posts.
Also I was pretty certain that Pilate was the last horseman, since we didnt know that stephen was actually the final one. Most notably because when I got silenced on Night 9, Pilate came after me right out of the gate. I figured he wanted to try and get me lynched when he knew I couldnt talk.
Furthermore, on day 10, I didnt vote to save myself because I thought Samson's vote wouldnt count, and the votes werent actualy tied.

Psssst........the name you're looking for is "Amor"Bathsheba wrote:Jacob in the first Bible jeopardy the participants all were disguised so we know Anon (I think it was Anon) won but we didn't know who that was. How do you know who it was? Did they eventually announce the winner and I just missed it?
Also I am ready to vote for Rebecca. I'll check the voting to see if we have enough of a consensus that we've started voting yet.
