Re: [DAY 4] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

Reading through Sig's D1 posts I just ran into this:
sig wrote:I've got a negative gut read if Diiny, his playstyle is reminding me of West Wing on RYM when we where baddies. I don't like how much he is switching his opinion as DDL pointed out.
sig wrote:I switched my vote to diiny I've already given some reasons before, DDL made some good points and I've also got a bad gut read of him. He seems to be playing the same way he did in West Wing when we where mafia together.
Those posts were shady as fuck. I think they might fit with what Golden said about intention.

Putting whether Sig is bad or not aside, I really hate this "inevitability" argument.

We don't necessarily have to lynch Sig. We can... never lynch him at all.

Turning the game into a checklist makes the job much easier for scum.

Also, we should consider all of the 'new' suspicions that came up on Day 3 as an attempt for mafia to lynch a don. By that I mean anyone who's name wasn't brought up on Night 2, but only on Day 3. I'm going to have a look through those phases and see what I can find. I think it unlikely that scum wouldn't act on the knowledge that they'd outted a don straight away.
Night killed roles are usually hidden by default in this site.

Matt and Wilgy are actually the exception, probably due to the mafia vs mafia mechanic unique to this game

Ok, I have a question for all the people thinking or intending to vote for Sig:

What are the chances he is just being his scummy self and that we are mislynching town Sig again?

Because I got the impression some of his posts were so cringe-worthy there's no way he has a team working with him.

If this was a closed setup game on NF I'd call jester (a role who wins the game if it gets lynched).

Well I think if that was my intention I would have just bolstered one of the existing bandwagons, but you're rewriting history a bit, I was trying to move off all 3 of ika, Gleam and Epi, it just so happened that the Gleam wagon is the one that budged. There are easier ways for me to go about doing what you're accusing me of, I think.

In any case I'm a straight thug and my thoughts are genuine, so I'm not gonna feel too bad if I get tied up in some conspiracy tinfoiling. You can frame a narrative any number of ways, what you have to decide is whether I'm being genuine or not :mafia:

That said I didn't want to lynch Gleam yesterday because I didn't like how quickly he got 6 votes, but his contributions today haven't been all that encouraging. I think he deserves another looksee.
Relax, you are not at the top of my list. I think I read you as neutral now.

A Scum Golden who can't be read is a steamroll waiting to happen.

Maybe. After seeing Golden beat 10 townies by himself, it could be.

I'm not lynching someone JUST to get a read on Golden though. That's just a bonus.
