It was personalized to your expectations with regard to his treatment of you, and I don't really have a perspective on that specific notion. Could be.

If I were to do a distrustfall I would gripe about Alison's read on Sloonei, so that's an agreeable moment of uncertainty from Sloonei that informs my view of him for the better.

Mac will certainly troll, but that doesn't mean we should shrug when he trolls and say "that's our Mac!"

He's regarded as a strong town player because he moves town games in a positive direction. He's going to have to do that.

Point to an Alison thing

She's softer on the town scale than most outside that set. I've liked a couple isolated moments, e.g. this reflected my feelings in the same moment and making some effort to develop | her Act suspicion instead of flatly pushing it as I figure she'd be more inclined to do with an agenda.

I think I can point to at least one thing I liked from every Syndicate player other than this set: Long Con, MacDougall, Made.

The sheer volume of town reads this quick is making my head spin. I also noticed yours seem to be (at least where I'm up to in reading) solely syndicate player reads, these are meta reads?

I am just having a laugh at the culture clash, but I understand it. Sometimes first dates are awkward.

I can't speak for everyone, but I do know that I (and at least some subset of the Syndicate group) favors a POE-driven approach on Day 1. Most of what I do is about generating as many comfortable town reads as I can, because if successful it will constrict the mafia into a difficult or even unwinnable posture right away. I wouldn't say I that my reads are predominantly meta-driven, though they're probably influenced by it on some level. To this point the Syndicate players have simply made most of the posts, so it's been easier for me to make judgments. That's no slight on the PerC gang -- we should shut up sometimes.

Regarding that Garden Gnome post -- I think I've seen some mention that I "suspected" her for that post. To be clear: I was torn because I considered a town read for that post, but couldn't commit given uncertainty about the language. Everyone's suggested it's typical language, so on balance I'd call that a nice GG post.

Cool beans. For what it's worth, I agree with the read. Tangrowth is often a prolific poster and rarely struggles for enthusiasm, but under the specific circumstances of this game (first in a while on this site in a crossover with new friends) -- I think it was the right start. She's solidified that view in the time since.

On the other hand, nested quotes offer more opportunities to do that.

For the last 10 years overall probably not, but in recent memory he has seemed overtly town when he's been town (he's legit been an easy read) and this time he seems overtly chaos. I'm not impressed. I'm not going to go on a crusade about it right now, but that's my view.
