This portion is fair, and it occurs to me that I don't have the clearest understanding of what Scotty's discomforts with S~V~S are in this game. I have an impression that Scotty is worried about S~V~S, but it seems to be more about the concept of S~V~S than about posts she made in the game thread (e.g., she's "tricksy" or "careful"). SVS shade, based on mechtalk, feels like a scramble to come up with some less-good to paint someone out of it (whilst there was no true, general trend to sus anyone out of that talk, save for SVS v. tutuu). The reasoning that SVS would have played it carefully doesn't feel cooked in campfire at all.
Later spins it, I feel, in a sketchy / paranoid angle of SVS being smooth killah and stuff, which feels either too early (and insubstantial) to paint such a picture or just bluff
I have him as most likely town. I got the impression that he believed in his grievances with Scotty and tutuu in particular. I don't know that I typically look for any one thing, but if one consistent thread comes to mind it'd be believably assertive pushes/interrogation/accusation.
I appreciate your takes. It's fair to request a view of Porscha that isn't meta-reliant. At face value, I am not convinced that she has made a genuine effort to solve this game. Her most recent relevant activity has been defensive, and I'm not sure it stands much chance of moving needles on anyone apart Porscha herself or tutuu. Most of the porscha talk has been very meta-y (I think) and I knida would like to hear a solid point that doesn't rely on that sometime in the future. I've known the name Porscha but my brain is recalling very few experiences with them. At least not recently.
Rondo has been rondo and I kinda just have been ignoring him. Partially a policy thing as I think their play and mindset so drastically different from mine that trying to read them may be a hazard for confidence.
Tutuu's tone has been getting better and better over-time and I don't think confirmation bias can explain that away.
SVS I think I can get an initial read on but it likely requires diving into them independently after my catch-up. Most quotes I saw at a glance didn't ring anything and some people seem to greatly fear a SVS wolf, but I reckon I'm probably better at reading invested higher-posting players than I am of lower-posting less-invested players. Scotty may qualify for that too but he seems to be vibing on a different level than I am at times....if that makes any sense.
Game has been preety fun to read.

I thought she was a little off at the start and said as much to her. It would be more accurate though to say it was the absence of a town read. Sometimes we (the general "we") ask questions, receive answers, and then chew on those answers to ourselves without having to have a prolonged exchange. So in conclusion JJJ is mafia not because of what he is saying but because of what he isnt saying and Scotty is Mafia for being opportunistic about it.

I would need to really dedicate myself to that particular question to provide a useful answer, and I am not going to do that without either a Vivax flip or the time and energy to do complete interaction charting of many players together. To give you a basic top-of-my-head impression, I think a mafia Vivax would reflect decently upon you, and that nobody in particular strikes me as a "distancer". A town Vivax would be less informative and could imply just about anything. Ping on Rondo asking to be grouped with the mechtalkers. For what? Or what kind of cred?
I don't think the game will be faultily designed (especially with this being an Epig game) as to reach a mechanical loss i.e. fX town being starved or mafia hogging all the protections each time.
