Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 0

Beck wrote:Who are the best wolves in this lineup? Who are the best villagers?
This depends upon what specific skill you're looking for. I would suggest though that the most dangerous possible scum would be Epignosis, MovingPictures, Sloonei, and Golden. That's no slight on the rest though, everyone is capable of putting together a strong game. It's a solid lineup. The "best" villagers are whichever ones make bloody posts. All of you can fight over that title by making bloody posts.
Beck wrote:Is there anyone who cannot play one alignment well?
I don't think this question can be answered without slighting someone, so I'd prefer to leave it alone. I know that's not your intention, so no worries.

I say nay!

I voted for MP7 for one post in particular -- would be curios to see if you see what I see.

But let's say I did vote for MP7 to ease myself into the game, what does that make me?
When a townie places a random vote, it is typically meant to incite a reaction (either from the recipient of the vote or whoever else might comment), which can serve as a springboard for those sikk readz.

When a mafioso places a "random" vote, it is typically meant to give the appearance of inciting a reaction. The visible difference is often negligible, but I do propose that scum random votes more often come in the form of just a name, whereas town random votes are more often accompanied by an accusation -- even if a silly early Day 1 caliber accusation.

Your "vote" was thrown into the thread in a vacuum without context, and it was presented with a light-hearted personality, which I think can be indicative of the latter example. The vote exists for appearance rather than for a pro-town strategic purpose (if my assertion is accurate).

In MP's posts I can see perhaps one moment that might inspire a quick vote. I'm not telling you what it is though until you tell me first. Your the one who has placed the vote, sir. The onus is on you to provide the inspiration if you're to assert than an inspiration exists. I will not hand it to you.

I'd say Day 0 is usually around 95% :goofp: and 5% :ponder:.

Day 1 advances to about 75% :goofp: and 25% :ponder:.

You've reached the correct assumption, but you could very well be a democrat bending the curve and distancing from the rest of the baddies who you think might indulge in questioning or shooting down my perfect speeches. Such an easy thing to do, really, com'on. Com'on. No tacos for you!

I feel you prepared a statement for a conflict that doesn't exist (yet). As if you're trying to compliment me and get on my good side. Although it's much appreciated. Shady!
There hasn't been any accusation of any kind, or any positive remark. It's all been goofing off. However, you can be certain that "you're hiding behind your roleplay!!!1111" would become a thing in due time. It always does. Someone always pulls that shit.

I think baddies tend to be wary of hearing that b/s and take the measures necessary not to hear it (i.e. they goof around less). So neato for you.
