Sometimes games can fill slowly, particularly when the site has a number of them already active. We could give this a little more time if you are okay with that! If you really would prefer to step down though, let me know and we can move forward.

I am less perturbed knowing the real votes will be publicized so if people lie everyone will immediately know it.

Town can as easily lie about their public vote as mafia can.

There is no other mechanics, conditions, limitations, it comes down to whether you wanna be transparent about your private vote when you claim it.

Okay so to be totally clear, the actual votes will be made public at the end of the day including the names of the players who placed them?

Might have to drop to maybe. Private votes for a full game mechanic presents a lot of issues (I implemented it for a small portion of Inception Mafia with numerous stipulations), particularly if the mafia team is able to place whatever fake votes they want with no limitations. That might bear some further expansion/description.
