Well earned wins all around.

Generally yes, I think. It was typical, so it didn't seem long. Open nights have also been typical. I definitely understand that it would seem super long though, especially to folks accustomed to smaller scale games of like <18 players ending by Night 7.
Your mind was on teamwork. I will never fault you for that.

"I'm not allowed to say things" - Long Con, 2021Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:36 pmThere has been a lot of townclearing and such that does get in my head, and he's someone that I have had suspicion of in the past that I thought I'd be allowed to publicly suspect. Seems like he's getting taken off the list, although players who have responded so far seem to be dialing back the praise ever-so-slightly. We'll probably have to wait to see what Alison says.MacDougall wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:31 pmDo you think he's mafia? I'm kinda on the fence. He has polarised me almost as much as you have.Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 5:25 pm I know I'm just the asshole but seriously, multiball assumption tells us that we can't clear players as easily based on scumhunting. I thought everyone agreed on that.
I love Bo's charts, send him to the Championship by all means, but can someone who is clearing Bo in this game for them explain it to me please?
Looks like we praised the same moment. Okay then.
Do you think there are wrong answers for KC Mafia other than Long Con being fielded prevalently right now?Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 4:56 pmI'm quite sure they're not that worried.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 4:31 pm Reminder to KC Mafia that you need to shoot Gerhardt Mafia, or you're going to get well over half the hunting focus for the foreseeable future. Still feel these questions as pertinent by the way (mostly #1 and #2). I just kinda think the answer is no. Doesn't imply a specific mafia team, just one of them.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 5:39 pm 1) Do we believe that AL_sama is indeed caught up?

To be clear: highest rate of town reads from Marmot (albeit with a small sample size).JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 4:15 pm Well that's fun! Thanks Bo. I laughed when ted stood out again.

Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 1:51 pm It is my turn to do the ISO work that I'm sure others have already done before me.
If my memory of Early Day 1 holds, SPF and KZA were chosen because they had the most early votes. This is an uninspired hunt that tells me nothing about those two players. In a vacuum I can say they're probably not both partnered with Marmot, but that is not a thing I was worried about to begin with.Spoiler: show
Gut reaction is this is not a teammate interaction with Bo. Bo's recommendation looks like a real one, and Marmot's response uses a cutesy euphemism that makes it feel strained a bit, like he's trying to cozy up to Bo by being warm and friendly. As marmots are wont to do.Spoiler: show
If I read this as a genuine inquiry, it probably means that Marmot's team was not discussing the multiball discussion behind the scenes. What that means for us at this moment, idk. It seems likely that Marmot had already assumed/been aware that we're in a multiball game, so this question is being asked so that he can know how to modify his behavior. It may just mean that his team did not consider this an urgent topic of discussion behind the scenes. That might give us a few clues about who else could be in that chat, but it's too nebulous for me to spend time on here. I'll bookmark the idea though.Spoiler: show
I guess maybe there might be a teammate in here, but there absolutely does not need to be. A new thought occurs re: TSP and the thought I meandered around above: TSP introduced the multiball speculation out of the blue. If he is a member of The KC Mafia with Marmot, then the mulitball discussion is potentially a bigger-than-otherwise-would-be topic of conversation in their team chat. Marmot doesn't need to fish for info in the thread, because it is readily available in the chat. Maybe. This is a tenuous read, but I'll give it about a kilogram of consideration. TSP maybe kind of not teamed with Marmot.Spoiler: show
Does this interaction exist if Marmot/KZA are teammates? Marmot misreads KZA's read on me, KZA points it out, Marmot walks it back. My gut tells me this is a good look for KZA: it doesn't look like a staged interaction, and I don't think a misunderstanding of this nature is likely to happen between teammates. I guess it could if the suggestion is that Marmot misunderstood KZA's read on me because he just wasn't paying enough attention, and wanted to butt heads with a partner. I guess that could be an explanation. But I think it looks more like a mafioso (Marmot) who wanted to push a civilian, but misfired a bit.Spoiler: show
This post makes no sense and I don't know what to do with it. I don't see anything even a little suspicious about tutuu's post. Why did Marmot highlight it as "openwolfing"? What does he do with tutuu/hally moving forward? Does he do things? Let's find out.Spoiler: show
This post is weak and Marmot was rightly called out for it. But what does it say about KZA? I'm probably inclined to say it's another good look for him. There is still an argument for them to be teammates in this exchange though: the whole thing is designed to put distance between them. But I think it looks too soft for that. Marmot prods KZA with a misrepresentative question. KZA corrects him. Marmot bows and sings the praises of KZA as soon as he gets an answer. If they're partners, they'll probably be more theatrical about this whole thing. Instead, Marmot tries to kick it off and it just falls completely flat.Spoiler: show
Marmot does not ask nanook why he claims to be confirmed town. He asks about everyone else that he mentioned in this post, though. Including himself. Noted. Bad lalook for nanook.Spoiler: show
This tells me nothing about Bo, but it exists.Spoiler: show
Ditto for this one. Actually maybe not. Hm. Big Brain Mafia World Champion Read Time:Spoiler: show
At 10:21, Marmot responds to Bo with an innocuous question about his alignment. At 10:23, Marmot makes an observation about Bo's ISO. This leads us to assume, that Marmot responded to the initial Bo prompt by clicking on his ISO and reading his posts. I don't think that's Marmot's response Bo's initial prod if they are teammates. So good look for Bo. Thank you, be sure to like and subscribe for more fresh content like this.
I continue to have no trouble reading this as a teammate interaction.Spoiler: show

I can't do much with this, but I don't think Alison is Marmot's partner just looking at this thread as a whole.Spoiler: show
This is a silly thing to object to and Jay has expressed annoyance with it in the thread (I think). I don't think any of this happens if they are partners. I'm basically locked in on my Jay town read anyway. So, cool.Spoiler: show
Okay yeah Alison is definitely not Marmot's teammate. This question is too pointed, and his response is too nervous.Spoiler: show
Meh. This exists.Spoiler: show

I do not think I can do much with this. I can see a teammate making this in response to fake-catching a partner. But it does not need to be that. And I awarded Bo some not-KC points earlier anyway.Spoiler: show
Another exchange that exists, this time with TSP. Okay.Spoiler: show
Generic follow-up prod for tutuu. Meh.Spoiler: show
This is a fairly limp response, but it doesn't look nervous or pressing. It's just kinda... there.Spoiler: show
This can be teammates. It can also be Marmot not knowing what to du with tutuu.Spoiler: show
Strawhenge not partnered with Marmot.Spoiler: show
These Bo/Marmot interactions are pointless and empty. I guess they can be partners now. But I'm still weighing those things I said earlier. But this whole exchange is just goofy.Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show![]()
This does not feel like a teammate interaction. Marmot feels like he's flinching a bit here. Decent look for TSP.Spoiler: show
End of page 1, so I'll post these results now. This is taking me a while because baseball is on.
I don't think Marmot was destroyed by a case, really. He was constricted by a collective POE effort into one of the premier wagons. Then at EOD when matters were close, you made it quite clear that Marmot was your choice and AL_sama was not your choice. Only Esooa was similarly adamant (and probably more adamant). Whatever credit others wish to take for the chop, I think you two were most responsible.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 1:53 pmI did? I didn't ever really present a case, I just kinda fell onto Marmot because it felt right.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 1:05 pm I could do Sloonei, though I tend to believe that if any suspicion of him is entertained it'd need to be the other team. I think he drove the Marmot elimination more than everyone else on the Marmot wagon save arguably one or two.
