Gun to my head: Changing channels. It fully embraces the quirkiness and insanity that SPN can become at times, is just damn fun to watch and has a great reveal. Season 5 is full of great eps, but I think that one stands out to me.
Most recently, the episode from last week, Baby, was the best episode they've done in years I think.

I used to be OBSESSED with supernatural but I haven't watched it in so long, i'm glad the recent episodes are still good! my fav episode is probably Mystery Spot, where Sam was trying to keep Dean from dying over and over
