I don't think any of it was intentional blatent hijacking. I think most of it was non participation and bad luck. Things that are honestly pretty common on TS.

can't wait to figure out which one of my co-prisoners is epi though. :feb: :feb:
You can help us on the latter point! I don't know how the mechanics of the prison works just yet, but I assume you guys can all see when new Prisoner accounts are added and become active. Epi was just lynched during the last day phase, so he would habe entered into the penetentiary within the last 24 hours or not at all.

The only other cop possibly in there with you is the undercover cop. We know they are not with us, or else the game would have ended a few days ago, but we do not know who it is. A few names have been speculated on, but there is no consensus.

Re: [DAY 12] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

Sorry for being unhelpful out of the gate, prisoners. Most of what you need to know has been summed up over the last couple of day phases, so you probably only need to read as far back as Day 10, and even then you can just skim for some of the main points. I'll compile some lengthy posts tomorrow, pinkie swear.

Re: [DAY 12] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts

One theory that I have is that arrested Nero frames Soneji, and that would probably be the best chance that either Elo or chaindeath would have of surviving Day 13. I think if Soneji was bad he would have just arrested you. But I definitely intend to do my homework before jumping to any conclusions. It's not gonna happen until I've had a good night's sleep though.

Is everyone pretty much committed to one of those two people? I know I will have some additional questions in the morning. I will read the iso's of Elochin and chaindeath first. And hello 509.

Also, I have recently had a death in the family and the funeral and all is on Saturday. My schedule is going to be whack that day and maybe tomorrow as well. I just wanted to let you know in advance.
Add soneji to the list of suspects as well. He's been a town read of mine for a couple of days now, but seeing as Nero was arrested instead of him last night I have to reconsider (Nero was not a strong town read for anyone).

A lot of it is simple process of elimination. We know the prisoner is not a cop, and Turnip Head and I are both agreed-upon townies for Reasons, or so I am told.
For Elohcin, the strongest piece of evidence I can point to is that Epignosis seemed to setup a scenario when Elo first subbed into the game (replacing Serge) where he could very easily have framed her for a lynch, or protected her from suspicion. He ultimately protected her, and now that he has flipped as the Warden during a crucial lylo, all of his actions are understandably being scrutinized under a series of microscopes.

With chaindeath, it's more that he hasn't done anything townish. His sudden shift in opinion at the end of this last night phase was jarring as well. Plus other things. I'll have a more articulate answer to these questions later.

The Prisoner will probably be thrown back in jail tonight, and then we'll just need to do this all over again. Plus he's not technically a townie so I don't know what is going to happen with his role if he's made the warden, or anything else. The unique spousal dynamic that is Epignosis/Elohcin makes me hesitate before taking a stance with conviction. I'll need to review further.
Yes, I'm also having a tough time assessing that. On the one hand, it would have been a pretty cheap move on Epi's part if he was a cop and used Elohcin's presence in this game to draw a mislynch and win the game, supposing she's town. But also, supposing she is a cop and he just wanted a mislynch, protecting her would be a prudent move. I am currently reading the whole "fake read" plan as a calculated move to pretend to assess her as town, thus buying some time to push for a mislynch elsewhere.

I am inclined to agree. I was already reading Soneji as town, and that entire incident reflects good on him. If Epi had a BTS plan in place, I'm sure his teammates would have been at least conscious of it, and Soneji's reaction comes off as too natural and too eager to have been a coordinated move. It also fits perfectly if you trace his suspicion of Epi back to the beginning of the game, like you said. He was on Epi's case very early in the game for what appear to be keen and legitimate observations. Again, it looks very natural and very sincere. None of Soneji's treatment of Epi reads like bussing to me.

The connection itself is of interest, but so is the fact that he felt the need to challenge it at all. Maybe I was on the right track in the first place.
I think Epi was definitely playing for the win these past few phases, so whatever moves he made were calculated toward the most efficient cop win manageable. That probably involved some degree of bussing simply because it was impossible not to at this stage. But it probably also involved some defense of a teammamte or two, and for this reason I am feeling good about Elohcin as a cop. Epi pretty much staged everything from her entry into the game so as to deter us from lynching her.
It would be a pretty slick move to do that as a way of framing her to be lynched upon his death, but I am inclined to feel like he would have tried to set her up for a mislynch while he was alive if she was good. All the cops have needed for a two phases now is a mislynch. Epi was probably banking on getting one of those before going down himself, and if he could have done anything to spin one onto Eloh I'm sure he would have. Serge/Elohcin is a cop.

Things Epignosis said about chaindeath prior to Day 9
Spoiler: show

chaindeath wrote:Can someone hook up chaidneath with a tldr of the day so far? He has classwork to do and not enough time to read through 400+ posts from the time he was away. To the direct accusations at him he would like to say if you lynch him you lynch a townie. There is no way to make this clearer that he knows of. He is going to vote Nero because he still thinks he's bad. All aboard the train hes going into a tunnel (or has been in one for a while).
You jumped off that pretty quick.

Uh, no sir. :suspish:

You just made my list.

Well, I certainly don't have any special knowledge, so let me put that out there. But I'd feel ok with Boomrique again. And I'm also interested in looking Quin's way. I'm more comfortable looking at sig again too. (Ain't that a shocker?)

Beyond that, I am also totally open to listening to anyone in the Fantastic Four (not necessarily accurate in number, but you catch my drift) and who they would like to go after.
chaindeath is my new #1.
Epignosis wrote:chaindeath is where I'm voting. He voted ika, went to Nerolunar, and then went back to ika because "that's what the civilians want."

I still have a lot of reading to do, but by God it ain't happening tonight. Today sucked.

What changed from yesterday? Boom was on the chopping block, he seemed like the one that garnered the votes from the civ core. The only info we got was that silver may or may not have info.

I mean if the group ends up favoring another by tomorrow (end of phase) I'll vote there, but I'm just awfully curious why we don't just effing lynch something together for once.

Question for anyone: who can NOT get behind a Boom vote with conviction?
Are you asking me what changed? I don't know.

I think chaindeath made a clumsy move. That's why he has my vote.

Prisoner 509378 wrote:Quin, you're not a lynch I would favor in the next day phase. If you name me a gun-to-head cop team (every remaining baddie alive), that will be of interest to me. The same goes for anyone really, though certain people's lists might mean less. ;)

I won't name my own list until I have some participation.
I'll participate.

chaindeath
Nerolunar
Quinn
sig
Soneji

Didn't expect that, did you prisoner? ;)
Remember, this is all pre-Day 9. Consider it alongside more recent content to come to a final perspective.
Gut says I like the way chaindeath looks here. Epi's suspicion from a few days back where he got on ika for that "if it's what town wants" remark looks opportunistic in hindsight.
