Re: Assassin's Creed Mafia (D2)

I've already looked a little bit at Turnip Head, but now I'm gonna focus specifically on Tony while trying to argue that they're partners.
Turnip Head wrote: Sun Apr 05, 2020 9:40 am I think we lost our momentum after the weird end to the lynch and then 24 hours of radio silence.

Something I wanted to mention was TonyStarkPrime, none of us have discussed him. He was around at the end of the lynch but most of his contributions were about the hammer. Not much actual gamesolving from TSP yet which is quite different from what I remember in GoC where he was flinging out reads with a high degree of proficiency. He was never the loudest voice in the room in that game, but he did enough for other towns to know he was there and doing his best.
After zero mentions of Tony on page 1 of Turnip's ISO, this post appears about halfway down page 2. Tony's not in danger and this is out of the blue, so it could be an abrupt turn by Partner A who realizes he needs to start putting some distance between themself and Partner B. Especially if TH feels like he's in danger of getting lynched this day.

An absolute thrill ride again. This... continues to go absolutely nowhere. Tony gives a limp response that Turnip doesn't respond to meaningfully. It is not difficult to read this as fake suspicion. They exchange votes and slap each other playfully, but neither gives any serious weight to the exchange. It can easily be staged in anticipation of Turnip's postmortem.

Verdict: Not incompatible.

funnygurl: has a believable claim that buries Epignosis. Generally consistent and relaxed tone throughout the game.
Long Con: Self-voted Day 1 to put himself in a tie for the lead, and Turnip Head seemed cool with it.
speedchuck: is low hanging fruit. Voted for Turnip Head Day 2.
TonyStarkPrime: Doesn’t feel like a fit. Behavior today is at odds with a mafia trying to win a game at lylo.
ts account: vocal presence throughout the game.

—————————
Funnygurl is far and away the most comfortable read here. I wavered a bit on Long Con as I was typinf out that justification this time: his self vote made no sense in any context. If there was some mechanic in play that would have knowingly prevented his lynch, then both he and TH could sit back and let that EoD unfold exactly as it did. That’s a big If.

I owe it to myself to look more closely at Tony’s interactions with the 1 1/2 confirmed bad guys.

It is partially motivated by POE. funnygurl's claim buried Epi and looks authentic in light of the host corrections from this morning. Tony has been my next strongest town read in the thread today, in part because he looks a bit out of place going around begging for character claims. It's a bizarre thing to be doing if he's bad. Long Con's self vote is the single weirdest event in a game which featured two demi-gods descending upon us from the heavens, but the fact that TH sat calmly by while LC was in danger of being lynched on Day 1 seems like an indication that he's town. The exception to that is the possibility of vote shenanigans, but there is no direct evidence pointing there.
ts account has been very By The Numbers. Not just today, but all game long. He has cited the fabled Book of Mafia multiple times, and it also feels like he's reading directly from it whenever he expresses a read on anything. He's eager to hammer Epi, but hammering Epi is the easy thing to do today and there's no incentive not to bus him. I had an early game beef with him that dissolved because he kept up a suspicion of me that looked too stubborn to be real, but I care less about that now that we're in our current position.
Thanks for the begging now who are you
Gene Parmesan.

That is not an answer. What differences exist in the strategies we have implemented?
If we are using evidence now, JJJ appeared in a beam of golden light or something. That is a strong indicator that he is a goodie.
That is even further from answering the question.
Still unanswered

And yet, sometimes he makes a post that I typed myself.

Spoiler: show

... another reason than what? I don't understand what this sentence refers to.
My point isn't even that mechanical discussion is scummy (it is) or that your post made you scum.
Thank you for telling me what your point isn't. Could you tell me what your point is? I wasn't aware you had a point here.
So, either you didn't take the time to understand my point before omgusing
What point?
or you are feeling pressure and you are trying to take down the most vocal player as soon as possible.
You are not the most vocal player, I am. Look at me go. And you also are not the first person to turn a critical eye on me. That was leetic. He is a town read. I claim responsibility for the escalation of our exchange. Your opposition to me is more vocal than others because I have engaged with you to make it so. I reject this suggestion at face value.
Which is it?
N/A.
I feel like you are used to being able to throw your weight around to shut down anyone looking your way.
This is where I say that you are misunderstanding me. I am an aggressive player, town or scum. I will engage directly with people on topics that I find pertinent. I do not even care that I happened to be the subject of your initial suspicion. I am interested in the suspicion itself, the mindset and motivation behind it, and, much more importantly than that, the events which have transpired since then.

Having said all that, I have no intention of dragging the two of us into a feedback loop of hostility. I fully acknowledge that we are two civilians butting heads out of the gate. I am challenging you the way that I am because multiple points in your posts have come across as questionable to me. I wish to pursue those questions for answers. I am not incapable of listening to your answers. All of the question I am asking are genuine.
I merely listened to the universe, and God spoke through me.

I can only remember one Bulbagarden game the three of us played when I was a mafioso shot by a serial killer.
I have no distinct memory of him as a player, but I know I have been in at least one game with him in the past. If it was the bublagarden game, then I was surrounded by unfamiliar faces so
He was also in World Flags

Re: Assassin's Creed Mafia (D3)

My biggest shopping pet peeve in the Age of COVID, I realized today, is people stopping in the middle of the lane to do jack shit. Have a plan and keepi it moving, folks. The absolute last thing we need is congested aisles.

Stop posting so my off topic story can still be relevant.

nutella JaggedJimmyJay the first Big Event in this game was a disagreement between myself and mikey. I can't read it without any personal bias. Would appreciate your thoughts, if you have the time. It begins on page 1 with leetic's vote for me.

How would you say Sloonei's play in this game differs from what you've seen from me in half a day phase?
Just my gut? Sloonei is covered in slime, and is whispering to me from the gutter. You are shouting in my face.
