Not that anyone asked, but I'm comfortable voting 112 now after resisting it for a few reasons.

The one that put me over the top was my analysis of the response to my silencing on Day 2. 112 was the first person to point out that I was voting without posting, but she didn't seem to even consider the possibility that I was silenced. A mafia member would presume that, with their silencer dead, there should be no silenced player in the game.

I do not dislike the vote on 112 and this feels like the right move for the game at this point, but if we had more than 15 minutes left in the day, I'd be trying to drum up support for a hollowkatt wagon tomorrow.

I had the thought earlier that if hk and jpic really do have nearly identical roles, it is unlikely they are the same alignment, or they're both third party or something. But now that hollowkatt has clarified a bit, I no longer feel like the roles are all that similar. What I understand of hk's role is not necessarily a town ability. The same can be said of what we know about JPIC's role, unless I'm missing something.

I was actually townreading Long Con. I wasn't ready to get into an argument about why Long Con is town, so I intentionally didn't comment on it. I didn't at the time. I just assume that everyone's going to have their own reaction to it regardless of alignment. For example, I laughed when I noticed it if only because I thought I was free from getting pushed on for a while. Other people may be have been confused, but not necessarily -- like, maybe mafia just assumed that we had some sort of silencing role, too? Thus, I don't know if it's a good idea to broadly look for a specific reaction (not saying that you did). You'd have to go though, player by player, to see their individual reaction and judge it based on their specific meta. Does that make any sense?

Yeah, that's mostly what I was doing.

I think the mafia team, generally speaking, would have been more caught off guard by it simply because they were not responsible for it, and I'm not somebody you'd expect to be targeted by an ability like that from anyone who's not on the mafia team. I would expect them to be a little less quick to react to it, and just follow the leads of whatever civilians were around at the time. It's way I think Made looks so good there: he was the first one to really start reflecting on what it meant at the time. I think you look good because your response was so lighthearted. Long Con's response was troubling because he just seemed to not know how to react at all. I noticed a similar response from Nanook later on.

My understanding of kyle's "mech info" on LC is that it is vague, so I won't take it to the bank, but it is worth being mindful of. Same with the Tetris thing. That definitely helps LC's case more than it hurts.

The abilities so far have been pretty usable, even if conditional

two abilities relying on bets seems like busywork for the hosts, especially when the only result for one of the claims is a vest for the night

idk if there being two identical claims shades HK, since he was the first to reveal it, and I'm not sure Epi and Dunya would give fake claims to wolves that are recycled from the actual town powers lol

But on the other hand, it would be pretty wild for a mafia hollowkatt to make up a fake claim independently that so closely resembles a real town role in the game.

Mafia JPIC counterclaiming town hollowkatt’s role in a closed role madness setup is also bizarre.

Nope.

Taking a quick look at Early Day 2 and the conversation around me before and after it was noticed that I'd been silenced.
Unsurprisingly, both Mac and nutella come out on Day 2 with a bit of sloonei tinfoil. We do not have nutella's role, but she is presumed town. So these are both more or less legitimate suspicions and there is zero reason to believe that either of them would have any indication that I'd been silenced. Just noting this for the sake of thread progression.
Hyena pokes at the suspicion first. Regardless of alignment, Hyena should not know I am silenced at this point so that is not a factor. The prods here are fairly straightforward, and definitely meant to goad Mac into further Sloonfoil. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but my prickly self-preservation doesn't like it much. Meh.
The second post is an observation that can be genuine, but I again don't like it. But I am the target of the suspicion, and I have a tendency to judge things more harshly when they are directed at me. Made gets the wagon on me rolling. I think I was moving my vote around by this point, but no one had taken notice. On its own, this isn't much. But I think Made will say a few things later on that demonstrate a civilian mindset. Teasing some townie points for Made.
112 is the first to notice my silence, because my vote is on them (I was cycling through all the top options on the poll because they're the most visible). I'm not in love with the way these thoughts come out in two separate posts. The elaboration in Post #2 feels like the result of nerves at the optics of calling me out in Post #1. Not the best look for 112.

Mac and nutella respond to the news that I've been silenced by suggesting that I am scum and this was a gambit to help clear me somehow. Silly, but they are both town and this was just their way of processing the information. Fun fact: I chucked my phone away in annoyance when I read nutella's post here!

Michelle immediately backs off the Sloonei wagon after sliding onto it a few minutes earlier. I don't think this is a bad look.

Made immediately starts trying to figure out why this happened. This post is simple and doesn't reveal much. The townie points are on their way though.

Long Con's response is a bit stiff, rigid. He clearly did not know or expect that I would be silenced, but rather than suggesting confusion or an inclination to understand, he just makes a bland comment about my response to it. This is the forum mafia equivalent of saying "um uh um" when you're unsure what to say in a conversation.
"Well, Wolf Sloonei sure as heck didn't silence himself, I can tell you that much!" - Long Con. He's not Wrong Con, but I got beef again. Admittedly, some of this beef is colored by my response to the previous post, which I think looks like a player caught totally off guard by the news of my silencing. If Long Con is mafia, he knows A) that I am not also mafia, and B) that I have not agreed to a self-silencing, and C) his team's silencer just died, so there presumably should not be any silenced players in the game at all. A Mafia LC would presume points A and B (and possibly also C) to be obvious to everyone, but a few civilians (nutella, mac, probably Made) have been unable to arrive at the conclusion so easily. But LC, thinking it obvious, blurts out that I am unlikely to be a member of the mafia team who has agreed to a self-silence. This after being unable to produce a meaningful response to the news in the moment, possibly because he knows his team's only access to a silencing ability just got chopped on Day 1. These last two posts are a bad look for LC.
Hyena makes light of my silencing due to my constant hounding of him on Day 1. Gut tells me this is too carefree of an attitude for a mafia member to be displaying in this situation.
Here's where Made starts to earn his townie points. This is a very specific point about why my silencing is not sensible. This looks very much like a confused civilian trying to make sense of a bizarre new development, and how it fits into the game as a whole.
We interrupt Made's prolific pondering to bring you LC still having nothing to say.
Contrary to LC having nothing to say, here is Made arriving at the conclusion that no theory about my silencing makes sense, but only after demonstrating his fairly nuanced thought process. He is also not wrong.
Jack, another confirmed townie, is the first to point out that the silencer is dead.
