Re: RED vs. BLUE: Endgame

G-Man wrote:
TRUMP GOES THUMP

Donald Trump had all but dozed off to sleep when a knock on the door gave him a start.

"Who is it?" he asked.

"It's Jared," a voice came from the other side of the door.

"Just a moment." Donald opened the door to see his son-in-law dress in dark clothes. "What are you going out for run in the dark or something?"

"You might say that," Jared replied. He handed Donald a folder. "Here's the daily dossier. Ivanka called it an early night."

"Good for her. You take good care of my daughter. I've always appreciated that about you. Loyalty is important."

Donald snickered as he read through his staff's review of the day. It featured the key points about both his campaign and Hillary's that were trending online and across the media spectrum.

"Look at this," Donald laughed, "all these rumors about Hillary's supposed health issues aren't going away. We should find a way to tap into this and make her confront it head-on. We'll have to keep an eye out for any signs of illness leading up to the debates and just drench her with it. I'm going to enjoy this."

"Not as much as I'm going to enjoy this," Jared said as he punched Donald right between the eyes. The presidential hopeful fell down in a surprised and angry heap.

"What the hell are you doing, Jared?"

"Something I've waited a long time for," Jared hissed as he kicked him in the face and ribs. He grabbed Donald by his comb-over and dragged him out onto the balcony of his luxury suite.

"Jared," Donald pleaded, sensing his fate, "I have always been good to you. Why are you doing this?"

The fake Jared grabbed Donald by the throat, lifted him up, and pressed him against the balcony railing.

"Because I'm not Jared Kushner."

"Then who the hell are you?"

The assassin flipped Donald over the railing. Donald tried his best to keep a tight grip on the railing with one hand and his attacker with the other.

"Am I high-energy enough for you now, Donald?" the man shouted. "Am I?"

"High-energy?" Donald muttered. "What the- Jeb?"

"That's right."

"Jeb are you insane?"

"No, Donald. I'm not insane. I just, as you would say, know people. Smart people. Rich people. People who will do anything to keep you off the ballot come November."

"Jeb, please don't do this. I'm begging you!"

"Grovelling will get you nowhere. Don't worry though. You may not get to be president but nobody is ever going to forget you now. Your death is going to be yuuuge."

With that, he let go and watched as Donald Trump fell dozens of stories to his death. Satisfied and his mission accomplished, he strolled back through Donald's suite and left the hotel in the most conspicuous way possible. Come morning, there would be a national manhunt for Jared Kushner but he would be long gone by then.

JaggedJimmyJay has been assassinated. He was DONALD J. TRUMP, a role capable of protecting himself via his sycophants.

Probably my biggest SK read. Day 1, he lead a victorious campaign against Sloonei (before turning around and voting me :disappoint: ) and then retreated from the limelight, coasting on good vibes from that one lynch. If I was an independent Serial Killer, that's exactly how I would play it. He's been feigning confusion and "I DUNNO WHO I'M GONNA VOTE FOR" for a bit too long.

Probably where my vote's going.
Every word of this is bullshit. We are in 2 games together right now, are you aware of this? Go look at Romance of the Three Kingdoms and tell me that my participation in there does not mirror my participation in here. I had an extremely busy stretch of days in which I played no mafia at all. Not here, not there. I did not coast anywhere. It was extremely frustrating to be in two games, but be unable to play in either of them.
And then I am not feigning any confusion. I am not saying I don't know who I'm gonna vote for either. I am voting for Metalmarsh. I have been voting for Meetalmarsh for a long time now. Look at the poll. See my vote on Metalmarsh, and all my posts saying that Metalmarsh is my top suspect to be the serial killer. But then you came in here and dropped this turd of a vote on the poll, so now I'm not sure what to think.
I think it's more the mass of posts from about Day 2 to Day 3 that show you listing every player in a rainbow list as yellow. There was a definite attitude of indifference there that, looking back, still reads blend-y to me. The explained inactivity isn't something that I find suspicious.

Also, your vote is on Quin, not MM. ;)
Yes, that rainbow list was made to express my hopelessness at the time. There was no attitude of indifference. You may be reading that, but it is not really there. If I was indifferent I wouldn't be scrambling like I am today, would I? You also just called me out for my inactivity (highlighted), and now you're turning around to say it's not something you find suspicious?
Also my vote was on MM at the time of this post. The accusation that I was acting lost and helpless is false regardless of who I was voting for because I was voting for someone.

I've been here for most EoDs. I think Day 2 is the only one I missed. But what I meant is that I was not here for the bulk of days 2 and 3. I only showed up for the last hour or so of Day 3. So the entire middle portion of this game is a big ??? to me.

You've made multiple comments about Ted Cruz being the SK. The first one was a response to Quin on Day 0. But the second one was unprovoked on this current day phase.

You were the one who sorted through the SK/mafia kills. Jay tried and G-Man frowned at him. You did it and got no such reaction.
Okay. You also made a Ted Cruz comment Day 0, as I pointed out. And both of my Ted Cruz posts have 0 game significance. I think it is silly to base a vote off of those.

And perhaps G-man didn't respond to me because I was onto the truth, or because he doesn't like meddling in the affairs of us mortals too much. These are not strong reasons.

I think INH looks like a suspect at face value, but Golden has almost mechanically removed him from suspicion. Do you disagree with that notion, and do you think my concern about Golden is more valid than tinfoil or more tinfoil than valid?
Golden's coming from an angle that suggests that he has information. I don't think he does, because he already questioned the possibility that I had information, but he's definitely playing that card. At the most I'm 'iffy' about reading him as the SK, because there's the potential in the back of my mind that maybe this is just Golden 2.0's way to get people to back off his top town read.
Potential problem:

Quin 2.0 asserts that Golden is at least trying to make it look like he has information on INH, and that he doesn't believe him on that front -- but he lists Golden as his top town read and INH as his top serial killer read. I'm not sure how this mindset can exist.

To think Golden is just making a big gamble by faking information as a townie to protect a player he merely reads as a townie in a critical scenario strikes me as dubious.
BRB.
I don't see what you see.

Quin does not believe Golden has information on inh, and his reasons are sound. Golden observed that Quin himself might have an info role, and Quin suspects inh. I don't find this dubious.

Linki: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :omg:
Quin suggests that Golden might be propagating the idea that he has information on INH, but Quin also expresses a town read on Golden despite his supposed belief that Golden is lying about something which a townie has no reason to lie about in a scenario like this one. It looks contrived.
