Very unlikely that I make any serious contributions today. Sorry. Life and all that. I’ll continue to chime in from the peanut gallery if I have any thoughts while I’m supposed to be working.

I have not perused the evidence for against them being partners. But his reaction to being linked to pyxxy feels like that of somebody who’s been caught for the wrong reasons.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 2)
I would go so far as to say that this is a good look for Porscha as far as being teamed with pyxxy goes, regardless of any other potential circumstances. Assigning a Day 0 "3p" read to any player is going to stick out. I don't think Landlord A gives that read to Landlord B out of the blue.leetic wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 12:48 am For whatever reason pyxxy was the only one to earn a "/ 3p" rating. This is another case where I wish I knew the situation with the multiball, as if pyxxy is Porscha's only partner in this thread I don't see them doing this but if they have more this isn't as meaningful.

I do not object to any of this. Scrappy should comment on your EoD beef.leetic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 11:58 pmNot too overly indicative of wolf, but not what I'd expect from town actually trying to solve the game; Scrappy's posts try to give the impression they're saying something important but lack the substance to back any of it up. If I wanted to confbias tunnel here, I could also point out their weird fixation on me at EoD despite supposedly having pyxxy at higher priority throughout the day; if they were partners they might have expected pyxxy's weird throw in the towel post to actually work and for some of the heat to be redirected at me. Still though, I think ITP is considerably more likely here.Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 11:55 pmI do not view either of these things as overtly suspicious.

We haven’t seen any flips from the other facility. I would guess there were multiple kills, but we only saw the one that targeted a player in our thread.leetic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:16 pmWhat do you make of the only one kill? Do they target different threads, or did they happen to pick the same target, or is the other team exclusively in the other thread?Epignosis wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:14 pm There are two mafia factions. Thirty people? GoC? Two old-school hosts? There was always going to be. We now have confirmation of it in pyxxy's death.
Landlords is one.
There is another.
There will also likely be independents.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 2)
I took pyxxy’s flip as a suggestion if multi-ball. GoC’s have historically featured multiple mafia factions as well.
If we are in a multi-ball game, then I would speculate that pyxxy’s deflated behavior at EoD suggests they were alone in this facility.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
I’ve gone into retirement since we last played together. I only sign up for about 1-2 games per year now, and when I do, I take it at a much more relaxed pace. I don’t have the time or energy to be That Guy from start to finish anymore.leetic wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 3:57 pm
If you've played with me remotely recently, you know that poking around is what I do, especially when I don't have the time to be developing super in-depth reads. I perhaps used a bit of hyperbole to rile you up by saying "everything" is sheeping, but there is a real problem with your posts in that they don't say anything meaningful about the game state and your votes seemingly go out of the way to try to dodge any reasoning that can be used to determine alignment from either party, and the whole thing feels really dodgy. I also haven't played with you in a while but I remember you being more bold and vocal than this.
That relaxed pace also means I may appear to be getting off the a slow start. But I am doing what I feel I need to do in order to develop my reads. They will come out when they’re good and ready. Some of them already have.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
It's not. Early in games and phases, I do not often use my vote to indicate suspicion. I use it as a marker to identify who/what I'd like to put some focus on. Nobody was talking about Delta. So I put a vote on Delta so that we could all engage in some conversation about Delta.

Re: Game of Champions: West Facility (Day 1)
Following up on this thought from last night:
I do not believe that this is a genuine thought process from a player. Does that necessarily mean that leetic is mafia? No, it does not. Maybe they're just trying to conjure up reactions from me and others. Maybe they genuinely thinks they're onto something and don't recognize how off-base it is. Or maybe there is some other ulterior motive at play here. BUT this particular chain of posts is not believable.leetic wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 2:45 amI've already confronted you over one. Deflection much?Sloonei wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 2:37 amI implore you to go through my posts and point out all of the ones that constitute “sheeping”.leetic wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 2:34 amIf you ignore the posts that say nothing, yes. And I'm being generous as to what counts as "something"
It begins with leetic accusing me of "sheeping" throughout my "entire ISO". Even if we grant that my pyxxy vote is sheeping, I do not believe there is a single post in my ISO that can be interpreted as "sheeping" in any sense whatsoever. I say this because the claim was so bizarre that I went back to re-read my own posts to try to understand where leetic was coming from. And there is literally nothing in there that even has a little bit of wool on it.
So I asked leetic to explain what they're talking about. And their response was to just kinda blindly double down and talk down to me? So I asked a second time to support the claim, and this time their response was basically "I don't need to, stop dodging me."
This does not look like a person who actually cares about developing a read. If that was the case, they would have either provided examples of me "sheeping", or gone back to look and admitted the mistake.
It looks instead like a person who is just hurling verbiage around to be confrontational. That is a bold approach to take if he is mafia. But maybe it's simply a matter of over-compensation from a player who's trying to look like an aggressive scum-hunter. I don't know. I have not played with leetic for several years, but I do not remember them ever acting like this at all.

Nah. I told leetic that I felt like this attitude was making the game less pleasant to play. He responded by doubling down on that same attitude. I was trying to communicate a genuine frustration, and he spat in my face. Nope. That is not how this works. You just made a blanket accusation about me “sheeping” repeatedly in this thread. The post in question should not even qualify as that. Thanks.
I've condensed the list down to just the names that are here with us now. I trust that you'll share how these reads have developed when you're good and ready.
I hope that at least one of these people will be unable to resist the temptation to ask why you read them a certain way.
I want to ask why pyxxy has specifically earned a "town / 3p" read.
