Re: Socky Award Finalists [2015]
Thanks for the ambiguous shout out, Golden!
And congrats to all the winners. Everyone deserved their victories, but in my brief time here I can also say that this community as a whole rules. You're all good socks in my book.

Re: Socky Award Finalists [2015]
I'm sure all the nominated town teams were worthy, but the Talking Heads town win was one of the most impressive mafia feats I've ever witnessed. Well deserved, I totally voted for y'all.

Re: Socky Award Finalists [2015]
"Interesting" was another Epi thing, I think. He got all up in someone's business in Bullets Over Broadway I think about how they were describing events as "interesting" with no follow up commentary.Ricochet wrote:Don't think so, Epig's been running that quasi-gambit, apparently, for a long time. What was the "interesting" meme, again?Sloonei wrote:Am I indirectly responsible for adverbs?nutella wrote:Oh man I thought of this too late but there should be a Best New Meme award. A la "pedantic pink," "interesting" and adverbs.
I'd probably simply label pedantic pink as a new form of code. Not sure how this BNMeme award would work, but I'd likely nominate either "bullsuit" or "lunching" (the Donner version of lynching) for best of 2015.
