I wanted to make more puns myself, but I think the thought that I was on the lookout for pun opportunities blocked my ability to actually do it. It's usually just an accidental part of my game.Elohcin wrote:YAY!!! I'm so excited to win this one.
Thanks Rico I think it has to do with the fact that I have only been playing small games lately and I am actually able to keep up and know what's going on. It's so much more fun that wayRicochet wrote:Congrats, everyone! Eloh is getting real good at winning.

oh, i read your statement backwards.
It's still a possibility that the narrator is in the game and changing votes, though why they'd be doing it like that at this stage in the game is a bit questionable. I am inclined to think the vote changes we've been noticing are forced by Natasha. Would Sorsha make such a bold move as to try to push so hard for an SVS lynch in this situation? I admit it's the first time I've really taken notice of her (probably more my fault than hers, though), so the timing is a bit curious to me.

Re: Rocky and Bullwinkle - The Legend of Frostbite Falls [Da
I am not inclined to agree with your premise here, but that's mostly because I too had assumed Scotty was bad before he was officially lynched, so to see another player do the same thing and turn toward the next lynch is not too alarming for me. But that's probably a bit faulty on my part, and I certainly understand where your suspicion is coming from. I've had little to no read on Sorsha all game long, and that's troubling in itself.DrWilgy wrote:My suspicion on Sorsha goes back to this. I feel like this attack was preemptive. Starting before we even knew Scotty's alignment. Planning on following up after Scotty's flip, Sorsha set SVS up for an easy lynch following Scotty's fall.DrWilgy wrote:Wait, this implicates SVS while Scotty is still unconfirmed?Sorsha wrote:Check out SVS's iso, from yesterday in particular. She defended Scotty near lynch time which is the basis for my vote on her today.
At the end of the day if Scotty is the one lynched I'll be happy, but I don't want to waste the day by not talking about other suspects.
Sorsha, you are bad.
Even looking at Scotty's and Sorsha's interaction from previous. Hindsight, It was almost as if she was wanting to blow off Scotty's lynching until later, even though she supposedly knew SVS was bad based on her interactions with the not yet confirmed Scotty.
A point that I don't like is "This player was killed because of ___" it's easy for a baddie to use the kill and then false case build off it. It can give a baddie total control of the flow of a game if we base our lynchings on Mafia NK's.
Bea and Zebra are probably at the top of my list right now, but sorsha and niju are complete non-entities and I should do something about that.
Sorsha and niju, give me some reads!

Interesting. I still don't think I'll change it though. Zebra is my second choice for reasons that I can't presently articulate, and I don't think there's any chance of sparking a bandwagon against her there, so I'm sticking with SVS.bea wrote:fwiw sorsha -I've not read svs as badSorsha wrote:I don't like bloopers vote on there tbh. I also still don't think "one of LC or Wilgy is lying" has to be true. Right now I think they're both telling the truth, unless I'm misreadinng something.
LC claims to have been seduced and scrooched day 3, right? And Wilgy claims to have been seduced Day 4? Whatever potential differences exist in the alleged and off-limits Host PM do not strike me as necessarily contradictory. I am leaning town on both of them right now.

Sorsha's big casing post against you instilled me with enough confidence to not want to change my vote. The one big multi-colored post where you waffle all over Scotty looks too bad to ignore. Sorry if I'm wrong.

I've only played with her briefly in a couple of heists, but sue's been less visible here than in either of those games. Re: Rocky and Bullwinkle - The Legend of Frostbite Falls [Da
I did a quick scan of Scotty's post history for clues about his teammates. The reads I'm expressing in this post are based solely on the content in Scotty's posts, and are not my overall reads on everyone in the game, though this information is certainly going to have an effect on the way I read players.
Players who look good in Scotty's post history:
MP/Matt: Scotty spent a lot of time campaigning to get him/them lynched earlier, and it strikes me as being too strong an effort to be a bus attempt.
sprityo: Mainly from this post:Scotty seems a bit flustered here, like he's reaching for somewhere to throw shade and shake the suspicion off himself. I read this post as him genuinely trying to turn suspicion against the low-posting, easy-target sprityo.
Players who I'm not sure about but at the moment leaning positive:
Long Con: Scotty hardly interacts with him at all, but when he does it's to address LC's suspicion against him. I think if LC was trying to bus his partner, Scotty would have done more to put some distance between them in these interactions. He barely does anything more than ask "why?" and then fails to follow it up, and I sense a bit of tension in these posts as well. It strikes me as Scotty responding to a genuine case against him but not wanting to push it any further because he doesn't know how to respond.
DrWilgy: There was very little mention of Wilgy on the first 2 pages of Scotty's history, but the last page was full of little Wilgys running around, when Scotty suddenly turned on him after previously calling him a "good egg". This could be a desperate bussing attempt by the two of them, or it could be a sincere effort for two opposing players to get the other one lynched. I'm leaning towards the latter, but this is not one I'm too confident about.
Not much whatsoever:
a2thezebra - Remarkably little interaction between these two, given how much they've both posted. But this does not tell me much. I am slightly inclined to say that I think one or both of them would be unafraid to interact with their scum partners in the thread, but there's really not enough here to make a judgment on.
nijuukyugou - Literally nothing outside of Scotty commenting on my Day 1 niju vote.
Sorsha - This is the most substantive post. I'm slightly inclined to say Scotty's response feels too tense for this to be a teammate interaction, but it's not nearly enough to make a definitive judgment on:
Not good:
Bea - There's not a whole lot, but that's not surprising because Bea hasn't been too busy in the thread. What little bit Scotty does have to say about her, though, is always at least a little supportive (excuses for her not to be in the thread, encouragement about her own ideas, etc.).
Elohcin - I did a complete 180 on Elohcin while making this post. At first I had her at the top, between sprityo and Long Con, but when I was typing up my thoughts I started to doubt every word I was saying. Scotty starts off positive about Elohcin on Day 2, saying a few things in support of her, and then later starts to backtrack from this once she becomes suspicious of him. I could see this as two teammates attempting to distance themselves from one another. This post in particular isn't sitting right with me. It seems like a very bizarre reaction regardless of alignment. I can't shake the feeling that this was the beginning of a planned distancing maneuver.
The worst:
SVS - While so many of my other theories in here have revolved around the potential for a bussing strategy, I have SVS all the way at the bottom because there is nothing remotely close to bussing here. EVERYTHING scotty had to say to or about SVS was supportive of her, without ever really going so far as to express a read on her. I again can say that this could have been Scotty's plan, but I'll never get anywhere if I keep circling the drain of WIFOM in my own analysis. Scotty was softly but definitively supportive of SVS for most of the last few phases (and mum on her prior to that), and this reflects very poorly back at SVS imo.
And now I have to confront the fact that two of my strongest town reads all game long are at the bottom of my list here. Woohoo.
Again, this analysis is based solely on the content in Scotty's post history, and is not a complete representation of my thoughts on the game.

I suspect the non-changeable votes were a mistake, but I don't think it matters much today. My vote wouldn't have changed from Scotty even if it could.

Long Con's claim is thr first and only thing to give me pause so far on this Scotty wagon, but all the votes are locked into place anyway. Apparently the Battle of the Hosts has sucked me in completely and I don't know how to balance playing in two games at once as well. I promise to say more things later.

whoa, bea, niju, and spirityo are all still in this game. i literally forgot.
I am too tired to make heads or tails of the SVS/sorsha thing, but it seems like something I should look into when I'm capable of critical thought again.

Re: Rocky and Bullwinkle - The Legend of Frostbite Falls [Da
Do we see anything in the setup that could explain Scotty's survival besides Nell/Fearless Leader or the Narrator/bad lady who manipulates votes? Because if we are inclined to believe MP's claim, then vote manipulation should be a visible thing to us all and there are no secret votes involved; the poll is an accurate representation of the votes. So he'd have to be one of the two roles that can survive. Lynching him today will either result in a No Lynch if he's Nell, or a baddie lynch if he's FL.
Is there a hole anywhere in this reasoning?

Oh, votes aren't changeable. Is that intentional? I put my vote on Scotty and I'm getting on another plane in a few minutes.

I'm still down for lynching Scotty today, but I agree that a simple bandwagon day will he unproductive, so let's try to avoid that. I don't know how active I will be, though.
