Since the All Star festivities will be taking place at their home field, I propose that all home runs hit in the Home Run Derby and all runs scored in the All Star game be counted toward the Padres run total this week. It is only fair.

I should have looked at the Astros' schedule before picking them. They have a 4-game series against the Sox this weekend. I don't wanna have to root for that. I hope I finish in last place this week.

Jose Altuve stole 3 bases and saved my fantasy team's week at the last second. He's been my guiding light all season long.

5 runs today is better than 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4.

I picked the Astros this week and they're off to a decent start.

The Nats just got shut out twice in a row. By the Phillies.

I suppose it's a good thing I didn't spell his name phonetically.

One of my fantasy teams is depending on Albert Pujols to hit lots of balls over fences this year.

I want the Angels this week. They seem to be putting things together but I expect I'll kill their momentum.

I can't not obsess over baseball, if that wasn't already obvious.

That's definitely true. The Mets last year are a perfect example. They were the last or one of the last teams to sneak into the playoffs, and even that was dependent on a major collapse by Washington, but then they got hot in October and went to the World Series.

Kansas City was the opposite of this trend though. They steamrolled everyone in the regular season and continued to do that all the way through the playoffs.

on paper they're definitely the strongest team in baseball right now. They're great in every area and have plenty of guys on the roster who've won before (three of whom did it with the Sox in 2013, for the record). I'm pretty much a full-time Cubs fan at this point. They need to win.
