The YT haven't killed since night 6. That was basically 4 days ago (and 12 RL days). You haven't posted since Day 6.

So...you'll be getting a vote from me today, since you seem eager to do so. It also just makes sense to me that you would be on a baddie team with your husband. :kadaj:

One of the bad ones, because it's the PM epi sent you.

I'm not all up in the theory of the game so much this time, and really I'm just looking for things that look bad. But I'd probably guess the Turbans is slightly more likely. Maybe you are continuing MP's vendetta.
See, I could understand the YT. So far, the only revealed player is Mp, and I hardcore thought he was civ.

I've been all over INH since like Day 4, so I would find it incredibly dumb objectively to label me as his teammate. Even less likely than Nutella being MP's teammate.

Thanks for the snark, but my question of "why" was a serious one.
My response was also a serious one. I am judging you based on your behaviour that I find suspicious, not my 'theory of the game', so I don't have a theory about why you are on a specific team.

I do, however, agree with you that YT is more likely (as I noted)... the fact you admit it is... interesting. Maybe a slightly good look on you.
Curious how much of the game you have read up on- I have said something like that early on in like day 1 or 2 and gotten flak for it.

But heyyy ill take what I can get

How would that logic have worked on the inh front? There is still every possibility that a Nanman or a Yellow Turban could be included in that list.

In any event - I didn't say 'lets lynch all these people' - I just wanted to sort out who they were. I don't know what I want to do about it right now.

As for you being bitter about people voting for you - you've gone something like more than a week and you manage to say things in the thread but one thing you just can't do is actually address the suspicion on you, so you deserve the votes you've gotten.
Could be, sure. But we know that at least 1 of the Nanman is active enough to put in a kill. Someone that wanted Elo dead.

Fine, as for suspicion, I've already forgot the specifics of my detractors. I just know you're detracting.

So you think that JJJ is back in ghost form, but he has to talk like an ambiguous fortune cookie? Haven't we seen a puppet in the name of Diao Chan speaking some form of non-English gobbledegook on day 4? Wouldn't that fit perfectly the prime of Zhaing Bao? That we have another apparition in the form of a troublemaker who feuds with Cao Cao (in the wiki of that character at least) isn't a good sign.

If Zhou Ci really is talking from the grave as some form of Medium, why is he giving literally no info? and if it is JJj, how would this mechanic work for him? Is he another person with different win cons? Obviously he is in the game now for better or worse, since he is still on the poll to be dueled, but there is no reason to vote him unless he's just being a neuisance. Even if he is bad, it is still just an extention of his bad self, and we'll still have to eliminate Zhang Bao.

I dunno. maybe he's limited to what he can say, but so far nothing he has said has given any indication that he knows anything we don't.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 10]

I'm confused. So it would appear, if no tomfoolery is afoot, that the teams are alternating kills. Since night 4, we haven't had both teams kill at the same time. Since then, this has been the kill schedule:

Night 5- Nanman.
Night 6- Yellow Turban.
Night 7- Nanman.
Night 8- no one died because we all were dancing around in the graveyard and brokered a deal with the spirits or some shit
Night 9- Nanman.

How likely is it that some construct slowed down the kills to that level?

ALSO even more importantly: we know a Nanman is still alive (only 3 of 5 are confirmed dead) and active enough to be submitting kills. So that handy little list that Golden posted of people not active in the past 10 days is looking good that they have a terrible chance of being Nanman.

Golden wrote:In this game nutella has lynched every successfully lynched member of the nanmans, and only one looks like a potential bus (the rest she seems on quite early). MP of the yellow turbans was out for her blood from the start until his death.

So why should we be out to get her? Doesn't that look like someone who is the definition of most likely not to be bad?
So? She voted for Wilgy Day 1. So did MM. I think Wilgy was looking to fight because he was a warrior.
Day 2, she votes right before the deadline as the useless 10th vote on Mm. She had no part in the creation of that lynch. Even if she had voted for Russ, with 8 votes, Mm would still have dueled. So that vote alone does nothing for Cred.
Day 3 is a wash because IIRC almost all the people with more than 3 votes have been revealed to be civ. So she could have voted for Stalin and we wouldn't have lynched him.
Day 4- now this is the one I go back and forth on. She votes Bass and Russ, to push votes ahead of MP, essentially giving Mp 2 more outs to not duel. From a perspective of Nutella being on YT, this vote is a save for sure. But you are correct that it is far unliklier that MP would throw her under the bus that early. This is the second day in a row that he votes for her, but at the end of the day, she didn't vote him. So... :shrug2: I think the case is still there that Mp WOULD do something like that but who really knows. I'd expect her to be a Nanman right now over YT.
Day 5- she votes in the middle of the pack on DP (a mislynch I started, unfortunately) and Caps. No info there.
Day 6- she basically saves Bass (who I don't think is bad) and votes DDL to tie the vote and pushes ahead Caps. Both are confirmed good now. Since I don't think Bass is bad, I don't see this vote as damning at all, since both of the forementioned players had reasonable suspicion I guess..
Day 7- but then doubles back and votes early for Bass and DDL. I thought she had not suspected Bass, or was she would have voted him yesterday, right? Or did I miss something? I haven't reread her reasoning on voting bass day 4, saving him on day 6 and doubling back on day 7. It's as if she's more carefree with her votes there
Day 8- now that's a risky vote if she is Nanman. 2nd vote on a low-voting day for INH. She also voted early, so it would be hard to save if need be. This does look like a positive look for her, so I'll give you that. It's not unheard of to bus a teammate if they look to be garnering attention, but she wasn't really. I'll ponder this one.
Day 9- she is the 5th vote on INH, and honestly does nothing for me. No one else had but 1 vote at the time of her voting, and INH was a foregone conclusion to be dueling with the amount of participation we've been having.

Also she's voted me like 3 times which I'm not bitter about.... :evileye:

Day 8 looks the best, but it only give me slight pause. Even a bad person votes for teammates at some point.

I don't like getting votes. Putting one more on Dunny just in case I get more in the next few minutes.

Not feeling Ninja or Simon.

I'm not sure why everyone trusts Zou Ci, or why it's assumed he knows something we do not. He can be lynched, so I'd assume he's nothing more than an extra vote for the person controlling him, nothing more.

My other vote is happily going to INH because I think he is bad.

I would like to give it to Nutella but once again, people seem to trust her (or at least trust her more than others) enough to not vote her.

If anyone does trust her, I'm just curious as to what leads you to that conclusion. Because it's surely not her voting record.

I'm just quoting because I also want to hear more from Quin about this. I haven't seen anything particularly suspicious from you.

I'm also not sure of the reasoning behind not wanting to vote for people who have dueled before. Sure, they get prizes, but I kind of doubt the prizes are boosts to help them win more duels; that seems a little broken. Having said that, I don't plan on voting Bass as I'm reading him civ at this point.
I've disagreed with pretty much everything you have said this game or your votes and haven't really given you any heat because I deemed it as a confused civ. I just don't know if you're just that or are just bad.

Voting for those that have already dueled is not the problem at the root. It's he pattern of the people continually getting up to duel shouldn't be dueling if there is we think they aren't bad. And that's why I was trying to get at: I don't think Bass is bad. i haven't seen the merit in Bass's suspicions and I think he has handled himself well in the wake of his duels.

as for MP's green list, do you think those on the list are suspicious? Because I would not expect Mp to complete disregard his team on a green list. I'd expect 1-2 maybe.

Looks like you've got Nutella as a potential Nanman. I seem to remember getting shit for even suggesting the link because of MP's and nutella's fracas in the early days. I do think that the Wilgy WIFOM referring to LoRab may or may not have to do with Nutella, since he was technically replying to nutella's post.

I'm still down to vote Nutella and INH. For the 3rd (4th?) day in a row. And I'm fine in avoiding anyone that's dueled before.

 Thanks for talking directly to me and lying about it. Russ was the lizard king.
I take back what I said- you said on Day 3 that Dom was saved, which would be kinda silly to do if you were Dom. I no longer think you are Dom.

Let me also talk directly to Sloonei:
I mentioned last night that it's a bad look for you to not have looked at Days 1 and 2. Ironically, I think those are the days that have the most information to be gleaned. After all, we caught 2 Nanman in a row, and have voting records to sift through! I'm leaning slight Mafia on you for that, as well as just realizing you replaced Bubbles, who was one of my Mafia reads from the day 1 lynch. I totally forgot why I dropped that suspicion, but then again I'm so busy these days I forgot what I ate for dinner last night.

@SLOONEI do me a favor and read through days 1 and 2. The "fresh perspective" thing is useful in a vacuum, but this is not a vacuum.

May I also review the battle histories, in case you all forgot..(I forgot and had to dig them up. After day 2, my inferences are scarce so I guess that's mostly to jog my memory):
Day 1: I defeated DrWilgy. He was Nanman. The lynch snuck up on both of us in about the last 30 minutes and I regrettably had nothing to do in that lynch besides be a pawn. But I did defeat a Mafia member, so :slick: I HOPE TO COME BACK TO THIS LYNCH

Day 2: Russ defeated MM. He was Nanman. Omg there's so much information on voting. It makes Dom actually look good, since MM tried to vote both he and Russ to save himself. We know Russ was good. Other people could be looked at as potentially dropping in save votes towards the end. I invite everyone to look at the vote progression there and make your judgments. I hope to look there again on my next break.

Day 3: Sorsha defeated timmer. Timmer was a civ warrior. This bodes well for Sorsha to the extent that odds are she was a warrior as well, though that's wholly inconclusive. The timmer train got crazy at the end of the day, and Sorsha and caps steadily rose throughout the day.

Day 4: Russ defeated MP. MP was Yellow Turban. The vote was tied between MP, Glorf and Bass, with Russ only 1 vote up because of a last second vote by nutella.

Day 5: Caps defeated DP. DP was a civ warrior. DP had a healthy train going and only had caps and Mac behind him. Dunno what to make of this one yet.

Day 6: DDL defeated caps. Caps was a civ warrior. Pretty straightforward vote, except Bass was tied with DDL, thanks to a saving vote from Nutella. Since we know both caps and DDL were civs, we knew Mafia had nothing to lose for voting them. Bass could have been a save opportunity though.

Day 7: Bass defeated DDL. DDL was a civ warrior. IM SEEING A PATTERN HERE. Bass and DDL had huge trains and it didn't look like anything else was going to happen today. Makes Bass look good. He probably was not "saved" the day before in the sense that his knowing teammate saved him.

Day 8: Bass defeated Russ. Russ was civ warrior. So at this point Bass has amassed 2 treasures and looks really good. For some reason he and Russ kept getting pushed to battle. There was no clear runner up to battle against them.

Anyone notice that the trains get going on people battling the day before or the day before that? And in the end, we're getting no closer.

I propose tomorrow we send up 2 people that haven't ever battled, because if the pattern continues, 1) we might just get nowhere and 2) we're running out of people that have battled before, me being one of them

I don't think Bass is bad after looking at that, and think we should leave him alone. What do y'all think?

Sloon, I think I agree that it may be a role reveal in this poll, but I fear that picking the most suspicous person is riskier in the case that it IS a resurrection. I don't trust Nutella, so the people she suggested (Rico and Glorf) give me pause because I thought them pretty trustworthy. I could just be farting in the wind here though. I didn't trust TH. I have no reason to believe Glorf was bad. Rico could be, I guess, but I dunno.

Because I'm not sure of my availability over this phase, I'm gonna go ahead and vote Glorf. If it's just a role reveal, I don't think that will be unhelpful by any means. If it's resurrect, that's cool I think.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 8]

Well well well. We can talk at night. Splendid.

At this point I think we all have to make a definitive read on Bass, since he is the new duel master. If he is bad, we need to keep sending him to the arena. If he is good, why the hell are we still voting him? I know he's asking for it. Maybe he has enough treasures to give him that advantage he needs. And maybe he is on the blue team and the blue leader is still alive, thus giving him a +1 base.

Why was Russ voted for today?

I think Dom is a cheeky thread teller guy.

Why is Sloonei proud to admit he hasn't read the first 2 days? That's like going vegan but cheating every now and then on cookies because 'if I didn't read the nutrition information it must still be vegan". Infusing life into a thread is good...unless you're bad and just leading it into a pit.

If I was around yesterday ( :suspish: ) then I probably would have voted Nutella and INH. Continuation vote and all that. I'm not making much of a case on them, so I understand why no one would follow suit, but I see INH had a little traction yesterday, which is nice. I think he could be a little dirtier. I think Nutella is plenty dirty. Her voting and voice of suspicions are meh.

Golden, I still haven't responded to your post, and honestly the way my weeks have been shaping up I'm just not going to get to it. My thoughts have been very much disconnected from this game over the past few cycles, to the point where I feel like I'm swimming in a whirlpool of suspicion.

and I still suspect you as well, Golden. For reasons previously stated, even though people like DF have said it wasn't logical. Maybe. Again, I'm not gonna lie that I've slipped off the deep end in the game as I work. The only thing suffering here is my case building. So meh. I'm liking Quin's gall with people accusing him.

Mata, why would you consider voting me at all? And why Jan, of the inactives?

Bass has been asking for it, and again, so did timmer and Caps. So :shrug2:

Nutella I'm most suspicious of you because of your votes and the fact that I was suspicious of you before I was silenced yesterday.

I'm gonna leave the DDL and Bass line alone. I feel like Bass is a warrior of some sort, dunno about DDL. I'm not comfortable voting for him.

They fit the pattern of who the mafia have been killing and yet they aren't dead. So that makes me think it's because they are the ones doing the killing. There is no sure fire way to find scum but that's the way I'm playing this game.
This makes more sense. Before it appeared that you were just singling Quin out. I do not know what kind of suspicion he has drawn in the thread throughout the game, but in the case of DDL I can assume that he would be left alone by either scum team because he's drawn a fair amount of attention himself.

What makes you go with DDL and Quin over Nutella? Or Scotty, who was near the top in terms of activity before his two days of silence?
I've been on the fence about Scotty at first he fit the pattern that was catching us baddies at the beginning all the joking and silliness but him quieting down makes me think he it town trying to avoid getting lynched for talking to much. Nutella on the other hand hasn't even been on my radar if I'm being honest and that might be because I don't remember anything she has said really. That could be my fault because I might have skimmed over her stuff or she is just saying enough to look civvies enough to keep flying low.
Scotty claims to have been silenced for two days straight. Does this affect the way you see him at all?
And Nutella has definitely been one of the strongest presences in this game, IMO. There's plenty of content there to go over.
No, I didn't say that. Days 4 and 6. Mac claims to have been silenced day 5. It just so happens my day 5 was incapacitated IRL.

I don't think volunteering to duel is innately suspicious. Anyone jumping on that as a main suspicion is more suspicious. MP did it, true. But so did timmer and Caps, and look how that turned out.

I think it does point more towards their roles as warriors however...again, regardless of alignment.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 7]

I started writing a post in response to Golden about 11 hours ago and have since lost it into the ethers. Melatonin is kicking in and I'm not gonna be able to finish before EoD, most likely.

Point being, I may be "out of touch" as Nutella claims, because I've been either silenced, or engaged in real life. In my skimming through the days, I thought maybe Golden had info on Simon, ala the "info" that Elo supposedly had via hearsay. My opinion is also hearsay and is backed up by nothing, but the assumption that Golden doesn't have info on Simon. Now Elo comes in and says he's 9 and probably not bad, and Golden seriously considers that as a way to drop suspicion. Not that that's a bad look to consider it- on the contrary, it's not- but it further confirms that Golden was just grasping at Simon's like 8 posts and finding discrepancies in behaviors like he's Sogmeund Freud.

Golden himself has said in his response he (I'm paraphrasing) "isn't even paying attention, so don't listen to him for advice", and wearing it as a badge of merit like he's proud of it.

Am I going to vote for Golden? :sigh: I dunno. Probably not this phase. He is looking to possibly vote INH in that mix, so at least he's considering that angle (even though I'm lumped in there) but I just expect more from Golden this game. That was my main point, and I'm working out why. The Simon thing is an aspect of what I found odd.

More importantly is Nutella putting on her batting gloves and going to bat for Golden against me. She is, IMO far more of a curiosity to me this phase because of my ORIGINAL point, which was- I think I was silenced because I said something that bothered someone in the Nanman. Could it be Nutella?

I'm gettin sleepy. Last thing:

I thought Bass was the thread speaker guy last phase, and did not think he was bad. The thread speaker guy said to lynch Bass. The thread speaker guy is not Bass. I could very well see Bass being bad, mostly because he is not the thread speaker guy like I surmised.

That is exactly what perturbs me about you this game, Golden. Floating around the water park in the lazy river without getting wet is not the downhill toboggan type of Golden I'm accustomed to.

Re: Romance of the Three Kingdoms [Day 7]

Stop kidnapping me and just kill me, you cowards! :suspish:

That I have been silenced twice and not killed because of it is telling me I'm mussing with someone I 'shouldn't be'.

Let's see. I've been on INH's case for coasting this game since like day 3, and was ballgagged on day 4. Started getting on nutella's case as well as INH and Quin on day 5. Blindfolded and given sleeping gas on day 6. But yet they won't kill me. Why?

I'm no heavy poster by any means, but I think I would be lumped into a talker category. I don't know why Golden has prescribed to the 'Nanman killing high posters and YT killing low posters" theory as canon. I see reywas was killed to contribute to this theory, but I am not paying any mind to it.

Either way, it's hard for me not to read into my silencing as less than purposeful. I think i upset Nanman.

Thoughts:

-Golden, you went after Simon yesterday for reasoning that he seemed like a different person in the recent phases, and that he is a low poster, he must fit into the NM cast. This blatant accusation of a low poster I was actually questioning, and I was thinking maaaaaybe Golden had something on Simon. Because why else would he use that loopy logic to go after him?
Cut to today, and already Golden has dropped his push for Simon, and has latched onto this Mac case. I have gone back and forth on whether to trust Golden this game, and so far I have felt he has pushed unsubstantiated claims, as if he is phoning it in. Does anyone else see that, or is it just me?

-I doubt Simon is bad. This is aided by Golden's lack of urgency to get him lynched again today, and don't think I want vote there today.

-I'm surprised that one of the baddie teams seems to not kill every other night or so. I wonder if that has something to do with the secret roles in YT.

-That Caps wagon had been creeping up over the course of a few days and since you all seemed so willing to lynch him TWICE I would like to put the eye on those that voted him. If you did vote him, what about Russ, who has been up twice and won twice, has you peeled away? Why does he get a free pass?
I dunno, I just felt like both he and Russ were the low hanging fruit for lynches and it just comes off as lazy.

-INH I think you are bad. Still. I may not have info on you or a lucrative case, but I feel like you have been coasting. What cases have you built this game? Can you remind me, or is it just agreeing with other people to live another day? I'm going to keep pressuring you, even if I am once again the only one to vote you, because I don't think you are good.

-that all said, I think Mac has looked coasty as well- he even says so himself- and I'm still on the fence about him.

I'll keep thinking up more thoughts when I have them

I start work again tomorrow all day every day for a year, so who knows how my schedule will be, but I'll try and be as active as I can

I am still suspicious of Glorfindel, but I want to pursue the Caps case this time.

I do think Nutella has been blendy and rather too agreeable all game, so I need to review her posts.

I noticed that votes for Russ seem to fluctuate wildly from day to day, which gives me pause in regards to Russ voters.
RE: Nutella- I actually think she has been argumentative and throwing around all kinds of suspicions and seeing what sticks. Not agreeable. I would hold that honor to Quin, honestly.

I never got the Russ votes and why he went up TWICE to battle. Someone point me to more of a case.

Of course you're not. A team doesn't throw a way a third of its resources that easily in a 38 player game. If you're bad, you're Nanman, and if you're Nanman, then I think MP had info on you.
There might be some merit in this. I went back to MP's post history and forgot he launched a big ole case on Nutella early on Day 2. That could have been very dangerous indeed when there were still so many people to launch against. He comes back day 3 saying she was not a suspect, then launching back into his suspicion of her for no real reason on day 4. Lots of WIFOM here, but that is a big risk, and that does look better for Nutella.

After I voted I realized Russ changed his mind, causing MP to have more votes than Bass, so I failed in my intention to save Glorf.

Nutella, you put Russ in the lead right before EoD yesterday, pushing him above MP and Glorf. It was essentially a reactionary vote to Russ' vote for MP and Glorf. This is your explanation:
nutella wrote:Oh hello Russ. Showed up to vote to save yourself, huh? Probably won't work.

I'm voting Russ and Bass (in hopes of edging out Glorf)
And immediately after, you make this statement:
nutella wrote:Oh damn MP might have been the better choice to save Glorf, but I also think he's good... hrmph.
This to me seems like a false pretense. MP "might have been the better choice" and yet you think he is good? How does that make any sense? Especially in looking at your vote for Bass, which only gave him 4 votes, as opposed to MP's potential 5 vote total. Glorf ended up saving himself, which makes sense, and putting that 5th crucial vote on Mp, but yours logically makes less sense.

This is all you had to say about Bass earlier in the day:
Spoiler: show
nutella wrote:
Turnip Head wrote:nutella what do you think about Mac or Bass?
 No idea, really. I had an okay vibe from Bass early on but he hasn't been around a ton, and that seems pretty normal for him but could go either way alignment-wise. Mac, I really don't know how to tell. Tbh I haven't noticed him very much, he seems to come in and give his two cents or point out a couple things/people he finds suspicious -- he accused me of sounding "fake" a couple times without much explanation. Someone who knows his meta better than I do said something along the lines of his style being aggressive(? was that the word they used?) and that he looked more or less his usual self, but I don't know, I've barely noticed him this game despite a decent post count. I'll ISO him right now because I'm curious now.

linki @ Golden -- I agree with you about Glorfindel. Again, I think Lorab is probably civ but I haven't liked or agreed with her tunneling lately. At the very beginning of the phase I thought I would be looking at TH and Glorfindel, but I kept an open mind and right now they're actually two of my civviest reads.
Wedged in your bigger read, you give exactly no real read on him. It's like someone asking you whether you like vanilla ice cream or chocolate ice cream more, and you answering, "I LIKE TURTLES".

This whole EoD for you seeeeems like you didn't really want Mp anywhere near the poll, and you sneakily tried to circumvent having to explain your vote to save him by apologizing that you probably-should-have-voted-MP-even-though-he's-probably-good.

I would vote you today based on this voting analysis alone. I think you could be on MP's team.

So I'm gonna give him a pass for now until I can do some good old fashioned Baltimore style good po-lice work.

Yesterday I voted for CapsFan and Sorsha. Neither of them have done anything to dissuade my opinion on them, and neither has a more compelling candidate come up. I'm gonna try and make this a Groundhog Day by voting the same way again.
So you gonna vote or what?

Gotta be honest, mate. My 2nd vote is between you and Quin. And I mostly want to vote Quin because he seems far too 'appeasy" this game. I can't put into words my tone read of him besides I don't like it. If I can keep digging and come up with something a little more potent on him before EoD, I'll vote there, otherwise you're my standby.

You say you never use inactivity as a crutch in strategies in your game, which may or may not be true. But when you are around, I'm not getting any sense of urgency or care. It could be a bias since you were vaulted into a place of importance (prefect) early on. You had so much potential, like 'Suicide Squad' and 'No Man's Sky' did.

Linki: that's fair, I realize that the start of the day came at the same time of the Red V Blue start, so I'll give you that. RE: Glorf and Caps- I hover around town and mid-town for Glorf and CapsFan.
I have felt better and better about Glorf with his voting analyses- His MM iso from like Day 2 had me questioning his motives, but I'm feeling better than I did.
Caps volunteered to battle, then rescinded. I don't see anything suspicious about him right now, and several people have voted him the past 2 days and I just don't get it, and think he has talked about it after the fact sufficiently. Someone give me a real reason to vote him.
