Re: Transistor [ENDGAME]

Hah! Gg Camerata! I was determined DB was bad, but knew JJJ was bad the day after I died. It's interesting to note just how much knowing one player's identity (nijuu) completely aligns my perspective. I often forget that others can't see the things I do in situations in which I just have more info. And not being able to infodump makes it infinitely harder to push. Hehehehehe cheerleader had no credibility so it makes sense no one would listen to me.

MP, I got your bad game now. No more fooling me, mister. :nicenod: (this is when you change it up completely next time and I'm left toothless and stumbling around again aimlessly)

Thanks for letting me sub in night 2 Epi! I had a blast, I think.

I talked about this in that prior post:

I also think his indignant annoyance at the ways he was [mis]interpreted for that proposal appear pretty genuine. At face value I haven't taken issue with his content, and I'm rarely one to take a bite out of the WIFOMburgers.
I lean more townward than not on DrumBeats. I also think the WIFOM aspect of reading him is made even more significant given his interactions with Elohcin.
Ohhhhhhh I thought that was referring to MP. Gotcha. Noted.

The town win condition states that the Process must be destroyed, and when there are elements of the Process present in the lynch poll I'd think that has to have some significance. To ignore them entirely because it doesn't feel inspiring to lynch a thing instead of a player strikes me as a mistake.
Scotty wrote:I don't know if any of us are in fact Process at this time. I thought Mp might have been, but I'm still going with Mafia.
I'd think someone has to be, since 17 players signed up to play and the Cloudwalk/Camerata factions only account for 16.

Question: if you aren't certain that one of the 17 players signed up to play is the Process and you're underwhelmed by lynching Process elements, how would you propose we deal with it?
Well I don't see them as much of a threat as of now, even though they might have a different win con. We've only killed one Mafia so far, and that leaves 3 more, in a dwindling civ pool. Now the real question is: if the process elements outnumber the civs, does the game end? That would certainly suck.
Scotty wrote:JJJ, who do you think looks the most suspicious of the non-elements?
Gun to my head, the three names I'd give are agleaminranks, DFaraday, and MP. If possible later I'll give each of them a closer look to check the content against my gut.

Who do you find suspicious apart from MP?
I try to take things one big suspicion at a time. Drumbeats is one. Do you think he is civ? Why or why not?
I currently view you as town.
Gleam and DF are null to me right now.

Scotty, I'm not sure why you're suspecting me so heavily. I responded in detail to concerns about my shifting thoughts on Elo and asked you if you still had concerns about it but I never heard from you, and now you're attacking me based on my shifting thoughts on nutella, saying I provided no reasons, when otherwise I have. I'll pull up detailed quotes later, but I'm still way too busy to respond to things in detail right now. I'll respond to JJJ at that time as well.

I can join the vote for Young Lady.
I read your response to JJJ in regards to your mindset behind Elo, and it sounds fine, and super long winded, and not necessarily something that was transparent as it transpired. Anyone can make a thought process seem like it was their own after the fact, but your response to JJJ came way after Elo was lynched, where you coil draw from her posts and comment post-mortem. I can do that too!:
Elohcin wrote:Hey all! I'm excited for this game. I'm choosing creep for the N0 poll.
I don't think she was geniunely excited, and I didn't agree with her. If I were in the game at that point I would have voted for her head.

See? Easy.

I just don't buy the lead up into your vote for her, and I'm not even sure you would have even voted for her on Day 2 if you were not "silenced". Because you've been slipperier in your suspicions than a mud-covered mini-pig.

Bringing us to Nutella. She flipped good. You've been "fine with a Nutella lynch" yesterday. You endorsed it. But you chose to vote elsewhere. Your rainbow reads have her jumping from Mafia to town to Mafia with little to no reasoning. "Otherwise [you] have" provided reasoning? Show me. Because I must have missed it.

Re: Transistor [Day 4]

I'm sure it's been covered, but every time a new process element is added to the poll, that means that the Process player can control any of them at a time, correct? So by lynching one, we're killing that element if we don't like it?

Or do we think the player can utilize only one element power per phase?

At some point, eliminating the process may not be a bad idea if it's the former, because then it would have more power output than my CPU, which isn't saying much because it was stolen (and I'm still pissed about it)

Re: Transistor [Day 4]

MP if you are not the Process then you are Mafia in my eyes.

That is my declaration.

Here's a question:
Your read of Nutella in your rainbow lists goes as follows:
#1: the only Mafia read.
#2: slight town, for no given reason.
#3: slight town, still no reference or reason.
#4: slight Mafia, for no reason.

You say you could be down for her lynch given your slight Mafia read of her, but really want to vote gleam for circumlocutory reasoning when you could really have just as eloquently said "he is my strongest detractor and I don't think it's coming from a civilian mindset" or even more eloquently put, "NO U".

I think you are Pocahontas moving with the colors of the wind, and control all of the Process characters. And if you are not the Process, then your suspicions and voting are even more suspect.

I don't currently know if the process poses a threat to civ life, but then I don't know anything about this theme. But I definitely do NOT think you are civilian.

Re: Transistor [Day 4]

Cya Wilgy!

Yo MP! Are you still suspicious of Nutella?

Looking at Wilgy's suspect pool, I see JJJ from the past day and then you, MP. Could be trying to silence him before taking off, but that's some WIFOM shit with a cherry on top. Overanalyzation of NK's will turn me into a pumpkin.

I will admit that I have tunneled a bit on you over the past day, MP, without proper evidence to back it up. I just get nervous around you since the champions game. I know you are not averse to bussing teammates, and your suspicion of Elo and leading up to your Elo vote seemed to come out of nowhere.

Theory: one of these 3 are the process, one is civ and the other is mafia.

Thoughts?
I don't see how we can draw these conclusions when the names were in alphabetical order. Do you think that was just coincidental?
Ah, didn't notice that. Still it feels off, what is the point of our day phases when we can't vote for baddies?
As I said, perhaps it wasn't even a civ power. Or the civ that used that power made a judgment call that may or may not be correct.

Re: Transistor [Night 3]

thanks guys, I appreciate it. The backpack was found discarded in a parking lot and I was able to get back most of my papers and games I had stashed in there, but all my electronics are gone. The thief smashed in a window while I was out to lunch and ran off with the backpack. Just a reminder not to leave your items out in the open in big cities (I'm currently in San Fran)

Anyway, let's get back in this thing. I'll post when I can. I still haven't responded to your accusation, Mp, but you can call it gut. Seeing as Nero flipped good, that also makes me feel bad about not just you, but the other Nero voters.

Most of your early reads on people are painted with light town and not as much suspicions. Nutella seems to be your biggest suspicion.

To be continued. Gotta run

'Twould appear that way. Maybe selecting any chunk of 3 people in the poll. Makes sense. Whether this is a Mafia, process or town role I can't tell.

Now, I like that you were indicting MP, because I agreed with you, but here's a question: don't you think being silenced is 1) not indicative of alignment and 2) something that can easily be faked?

A Mafia member, knowing that he didn't silence anyone that day, could make up a silence easily.

That being said, what are the odds that they selected a player that no one with a night action also selected? I mean, it does sound like the odds are more in favor of him actually being silenced, but one can never be too sure. :shrug2:

I went though everything MP said about Elo leading up to her almost lynch and her actual lynch and have a very strong suspicion that he is bad because of it. On the surface he looks town for trying to start that CFD before EoD but I don't buy it and actually think he's trying to look town instead of being town.
