oops got tied up with stuff but also meh whatever. Revising my opinion on Dizzy, def mafia on my wagon so start there. Dizzy especially mainly bvased off there waffling posts. Know I'll flip civ so setting up a meh whatever type thing. As seen in last post.

Tony, I don't understand this or your read on Sig in general.
Here's the reason I suspect Sig:
- His mention of liking my posts - and actually the frasing was "I like all your posts" - served no other purpose than to appease me when he entered the thread. And it really does not seem like he has read or honestly evaluated all my posts. I can get it as a way of saying "I like your tone" if I stretch, but it just seems dishonest to me.
- He got defensive with Anarch and sussed him for omgusing and that he didn't like him calling for a claim on D1. He doesn't really talk about why that is scummy beyond not liking it, except now that "It can give mafia a target". It just seems like a typical thing low effort mafia will latch on to imo.
- I just don't find anything towny in his posts.

Where am I going wrong in your opinion?

I can like posts from tone which is what I said. If I'm going to pocket it won't be like that anyway.

Anarch instantly called me mafia for essentially going agaisnt his idea of claiming. Whihc again I'll follow with what I said before.

1. You want to out a town PR role, never good.
2. gives the mafia targets. You can say watcher will look which is all well and good, BUT that also straight up means watcher is going to be on that person leaving everyone else open. Not to mention watcher claimed so they can just go for him. Also sorry it isn't fun and against the spirit of the game to claim D1 and I'm sticking to that as a good reason alone regardless of strategy not to claim.

3. The whole case around me is dumb and seems like everyone here just has confirmation bias going on. So not really going to go out of my way to play super hard and still get lynched since people decided to go with an easy day 1 and/or just dislikes my view on claiming.

If he fake claimed I'd expect the real watcher to have claimed/counter claimed. I mean in theory they could be among the non posters, but that's risky so probably not the case. If he didn't straight up claim then oops people shouldn't be saying he did.

I think it's unclear whether Sig is aware that Anarch roleclaimed. His beef was about Anarch suggestion the Vendor to claim, which is a beef I don't understand. I'm a vegetarian. I also think that picking that as a point to argue is very easy for scum to do, and it's unclear to me why Sig thinks it's scummy behaviour rather than something he "doesn't like".

Claiming is 1 not fun and 2 it creates targets for mafia. Especially in a game without a doctor. It's literally just setting up easy targets for mafia and weakening the power of the PR roles.

Also Marmot is one of the other most mislynched players early on so I'm going to go ahead and call both these wagons as bad town/town.

I will say if the claim is real kinda not a fun thing to do day 1. Takes alot of the sport from the game.

sig stops posting for 18 minutes, and then tells dizzy that he "liked all of his posts". dizzy's first post in this game was on #227. this means that between 10:00 AM and 10:18 AM, sig had read from #23 to #227 at the bare minimum, and had read closely enough to have a half-developed opinion on dizzy's posts

if sig was actually catching up with the game during those 18 minutes, why didn't he post any other thoughts similar to the one he posted about son of anarch at 10:00 AM? and if he had read the thread closely enough to have an awareness of dizzy's posts, why didn't he have any other game-related thoughts or observations to share?

reading a little bit over 200 posts in 18 minutes is not particularly unrealistic, but the timing feels a little wonky to me. and yes this is a very nitpicky read lol
