I'm still waiting for sig to engage at all with the case he supposedly likes, but I guess it's not going to happen, and that's because referencing my case was all he really needed, to help hold a seeming suspicion on Seanzie.
Not to mention, I mean, come on, who comes out and says they like a Long Con case? Never happens, that's the biggest red flag of all if you know your Syndicate mafia.
You guys wanna give sig a whirl? I could handle Delta, or leetic... and Porscha or Rico if that's where people wanted to go. I still have the juice to vote Seanzie, for the record, as well.
I mean I guess I could see porscha being mad that a a teammate analysis could lead to her being voted off especially if she doesn’t value them.Seanzie wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 6:46 pmNo. I refused to reveal it, this is literally the first time I've revealed it. I could go and try to dig up some posts at some point to show where I've caught her but... I'm suited up going for a run, so we'll see if I do that after I get home.sig wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 6:43 pmIs there a secondary source to confirm thisEpignosis wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 6:29 pmReally?Seanzie wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 6:24 pmThis is actually that scum!tell that I refused to reveal in "Don't Starve". Mafia!Porscha is... for lack of a better word... a little mean.Epignosis wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 5:54 pm My instinct during my reading was to vote Porscha.
The shitting on other people's effort without at least parlaying that into meaningful suspicions struck me as, well, shitting on other people's efforts. I can't fathom a civilian reason for doing that. To then put Ricochet on an eventual pedestal is even more confusing, because Rico's work looks like a card catalog with a handwritten note scribbled onto the end (that's not meant as a criticism; rather, I don't understand how Porscha arrived at this opinion).
Hell, my own effort is from the dude who didn't even finish the assignment.![]()
At any rate, Porscha sounded- for whatever reason- annoyed to the point that I can't hear these words spoken by the voice (and I have heard the voice). In Vocaroo III, a civilian Porscha sounded measured and unsure. In here, Porscha is bringing a goddamn shovel and ready to throw down.
But I don't recall mafia Porscha losing any shit in Don't Starve Mafia either.
So for me, this entire reaction is uncharacteristic, and I have no idea what to do with it.
Yes, that's a bunch of words to say![]()

Epi makes a good case/connection with Delta to Pyxxy, but I'd like to see what Delta says before I vote there.
Falcon seems to be leaning more into his scum meta which is avoiding his teammates and playing more in the background so he's one to watch as well.
TSP is making me giggle so we can't vote him off this phase sorry team.
This just reads like superficial recapping of what's happening ITT. w/ no takes at all

What are your actual reads right now?
[VOTE: sig] aubergine

Who knows for your second question, but randomly mentioning someone, who you can't/won't name suspects me in another thread is just bad form and not something I could even discuss. So it only serves to throw our thread off track and distract from the pyxxy flip. This might not have been done maliciously, but the end result is still derailment.Seanzie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:59 pmWhy would news of a wolf flip derail our momentum?
Are you trying to say I'm lying? If so, what do you think of my alignment?
She (Daisy) was around or so I thought, just lurking more. This was in line with how she played Baby Muppet where we were both mafia together. So I was thinking that was her approach here. Given that she was mod killed and flipped town it's now pretty clear she ended up not having the time to play.leetic wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 12:13 am While Epi is working on his analyses of the player interactions, I'll start to work on mine so that they won't be biased by his. Not gonna look at N0, since it's a bunch of crap and pyxxy did jack there anyways.
Not a mention of pyxxy but the Daisy stuff looks odd in hindsight. What "playstyle" was she demonstrating by just posting one NGR post saying she's busy and then dipping?sig wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 12:20 pm I’ll add to the scrappy doo stuff some more.
As already said they were a sock third party. The owner lucy had some goal that I can’t remember now, but it did have voting power and could be killed.
Also falcon was on my team that game not TSP.
I like LC train of thought on the secret Santa thing, that seems very much within his town meta.
Epi is a gut town read.
I’m liking Abigail posts even though she’s creating a town core
I’m eyeing Daisy right now, her play style right now reminds me of muppets, where she was present but a bit flatflooted being mafia.
No mentions of pyxxy until this last-minute vote. Like I said before, this looks like so obviously a bus that I doubt a player who's been around as long as Sig would actually go for it. Saying his townreads are on pyxxy does seem like a way to pass the buck, so I guess that's one small point against them being aligned, but it's still such a convenient excuse that I can't rule them out being wolf overall.
Seanzie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:28 pmThe "two thread" thing is non-standard, so there isn't really a TS standard to apply here.leetic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:24 pmIn Severance, there was one team that killed one person in each thread each night. Not sure if it's the standard here, think it would be a bit screwy for parity if one thread can be hit twice while the other has no deaths.Epignosis wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:18 pmOne team kills on odd Nights, one team kills on even Nights.leetic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:16 pmWhat do you make of the only one kill? Do they target different threads, or did they happen to pick the same target, or is the other team exclusively in the other thread?Epignosis wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 9:14 pm There are two mafia factions. Thirty people? GoC? Two old-school hosts? There was always going to be. We now have confirmation of it in pyxxy's death.
Landlords is one.
There is another.
There will also likely be independents.
I would be surprised if the setup were anything different.
Alternatively, the other kill took place in the other thread.
One thing that seems off based on my experiece with GoC is actually how few deaths we've had. Last year, I think like 5 or 6 people died N1, and two years ago there was a D1 vigfest that took out at least three or four people.
I would not count on parity, but perhaps this is outdated due to Nook not being one of the game creators (I think he was the source for much of the KP)
Yea I’m not entertaining any of this when there’s zero way to engage ppl in another thread who has said thoughts and seems like a great way to derail our momentum
No so what I mean is say there’s two mafia teams they’d both get the “you’re mafia and on team X” message but the team X would switch depending on their team.leetic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:10 pmI've never heard of a multiball setup that had one player in two wolf teams.sig wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:09 pmleetic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:06 pm A couple of minor observations:
- I think it's likely that some part of Caitlin and pyxxy's roles is hidden. I doubt that they are both vanilla in a game that supposedly has a lot of non-vanilla roles.
- The fact that the faction is simply called "mafia" combined with only one kill tonight suggests against a multiball game, unless there is a "Werewolves" faction that holstered/got unlucky
Also, unlike Severance, there doesn't seem to be a way of determining who died in the other thread.
I was gonna disagree actually the language of saying that they were both mafia AND a member of landlords + needing to eliminate towns and all other threats point to either 2 mafia teams or a cult/third party group.
Also just an fyi all I didn’t have my DST set correctly so I thought we had an extra hour hence my post.
Agreed, at the very least they likely voted someone offTonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:08 pm eh figure that thread had a murder too maybe one in each

leetic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 10:45 pm Anyway, I wonder if we're split randomly or if there's a balance in some way. In Severance, it was pretty clear that there'd likely be an even amount of wolves on both sides for the most part (although PRs were pretty skewed) but I'm not sure that holds up here.
Weren’t we on the same team that game?
