I will say, that Roxy telling me to let SVS off the hook and not addressing the TSP ISO I did had me thinking "oh man, Roxy is gonna be a wolf when I'm done here"
GG though. Well played.

Epi's processes I think are mostly town.
Neon and Lucy votes had at least solving methods applied.
Epi towards Marmot is weird though. Good to keep in mind I think.

So in skim of fingers points, I find they have a towny voice for the most part.
My hangup is on the players they suspect. Falcon/Dennis/Neon for the most part, kinda makes it feel like they are grabbing the LHF while being too confident in other slots.
For example

Perhaps if there was more from splints to signal this confidence I'd be less upity about it. I'd say bottom of town leans for a tinfoil read

Re: Felt Mafia 3 [Day 3]
Realized I don't have time to get through ISOs before EoD. So I'll skim and inquire about key things.
All in all I'm not as sold on W! SvS as I was. I think if I were to catch W SvS, it'd take some teammate associations at this point. As it stands I can see T SvS.
I will inquire though, your read of Marmot here:

No colors, just block's o'text. Fairly in order.
I would be pretty shocked if Wilgy, Epi or Splints were bad.
I would not be shocked, but somewhat surprised if Roxy was bad, her game here is totally different than LGM. Kate as well, while it's WIFOM, I don't know that I think she'd set up fake suspish on Dennis, or NK him, especially after he pushed back. I felt pretty good about Sabie. She didn't seem to be following anyone and had her own opinions, so a good look for sig to roll ino, imo.
I put Lemonfairy in her own group. She has mostly just breezed in voted and left, hasn't expressed many opinions. Gave one long post mostly town vibereads (it's a big post, I'll spoiler it). She hasn't really engaged. Pretty much NAI, I have no read on her. She has been voting for me, but I don't know why. The PoE group I have reasons to think could go either way. Lemonfairy I really have no read at all.
My PoE group is not really in any order, I tried ordering it but can't. Tony comes in, votes, and says nothing about why. He literally said (over two posts) "Everyone vote for Kate. I saw a kate post I thought was wolfy." OK, lol. The only time he ever made anything other than a one line post was when Roxy asked him to post suspects and he said, "i got news for ya, I'm not getting eliminated and if I do it's town's fault". She never said anything about suspecting him so not sure where that came from. This may be SOP for him, I know I played with him, but don't recall if this is the norm for him, so PoE.Spoiler: show
Marmot and Neon, I have more complex thoughts on. Marmot's doing a lot of reads and is prompting a lot of discussion, trying to coax opinions out of people which is a good look. But it bothers me alot that he continued to imply my wordiness was AI when it absolutely is not, and I even pointed it out to him from another game where I was civ that it came up in discussion. I have very little conversational filter, so i over explain to soften things. It's something I do irl, it's a compensation mechanism. I posted the info from the other game, tagged him in it, and he did not respond, but still repeated the "too wordy" thing. When he put up his rainbow, he kinda wishy washy acknowledged it, but gave no other reason for reads. Perhaps I am just annoyed at him, because other than this I mostly townread him.
And Neon is nothing like her last game. Even if i agreed with some of her conclusions there, she was posting data, making reads. She came out like an avenging angel when we elimmed a bad Lucy in LGM, which townlocked her for me. But she made sad faces when we did it here to a Lucy who actually flipped town, but didn't really try and stop it. She could just be less interested, or she could be bad. I am leaning less interested, but I am not actively town reading her as i did in LGM, which is my only experience of her. Also her trying to talk Quin out of divulging his reads during the night, then he was NKed; things that make you goMarmot said in his rainbow list: S~V~S - I've talked about SVS at length already. She has been over-explainy, to which she has also explained this is normal for her (it's been so long since we've played together, I don't remember your exact playstyle), but at times to me it doesn't feel like it accomplishes very much. I would put her lower, but since this does appear to be the norm for her, I'm putting a little less emphasis on that particular style of posting in my read on her.![]()
Rondo I have talked about at somewhat in the Falcon discussion, and the aftermath. Rondo came in, make a fake list and seems to be sticking to it for no reason he has expressed to the point of making fake red checks in a game with no cops . And then anyone who doubts him either should "know his game" or becomes a wolf themselves. I got the impression it was becasue I voted for Falcon, but he seems a little over traumatized by this to the point that I am not sure if it is real or not. He's making "Civvies suck" type posts, but if he's town, he isn't helping with what mostly comes across as rage posting.

Look I'm sorry but Quin was wrong about 2/3 of his baddie team. Why? Idk I was wrong about my day one read of Rondo. Don't feel bad. Move on. Or add something new to your case. BTW SVS wasn't the only one sucked into your horrible ploy inre: falcon. He was elimmed bc of you imo.
Hell if you read what I actually put down about day one you'd see that there's an actual argument for T SVS to be unsure about the W v F d1 foolery. Like it's not even a case, just review that's like 1/4th of the way done.
Falcon was elimmed because of a poor response he did. He chose to not assess me, knee jerk react, then afk and went over because of it. Don't blame me for moving the game out of fluff fest 2022.
My Falcon read was wrong, but I don't think it was wrong for bad reasons.

At this point, I wonder.
Does T SVS hedge on so many with the exception of Lucy, of all people, or is that more wolf inclined?
Does W SVS inquire in attempt to solve Falcon V Wilgy 4 times with only slight conclusion towards the end of the 4th post?

To continue SVS
So before this post here SVS quoted into the Falcon Wilgy discussion.
And that lead to this:
Further in the above post. It feels that SVS has a lot to say about everyone, but there appears to be a lack of conclusions drawn with the exception of Lucy T.
Going to continue breaking this one up.
So before this post here SVS quoted into the Falcon Wilgy discussion.
And that lead to this:
And now that I'm actually thinking about it more, while my previous thought of SVS tip toeing is true, there does seem like an attempt to understand here. This is reflected as well in the wallpost I will place below:S~V~S wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 7:51 amLast game Golden pulled in town core fast plus we had a tunnel to discuss (Sean vs me) very early. Further data above on SVS trying to sort the Falcon v Wilgy shin dig.S~V~S wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 1:32 pmMostly, I would agree with that; I am going with the "new norm" and calling townreads, but lord, it's not easy for me. And I took some flak in Game 1 because I didn't like doing it.
But yeah, on short acquaintance she seems to like cultivating an air of not quite mystery, but that's the closest I can come to what I think.
@DrWilgy I am tiptoeing a bit, since I am not sure what I think. I also attributed town actions to both of you.
If you were bad, I doubt you would have come in here all serious when people expect you not to. And I thought falcon legit looked upset by it. When he sussed me in LGM, he looked not unlike he looks here. I tend to think stuff like this on Day One tends civ/civ more often than not. Because I also don't see why you'd expect him specifically to be hunting when pretty much no one was, and why he was so sure you could not possibly misread him.
So I'm trying to sort it, becasue I can see it both ways.
@Mongoose It was years ago, They had it at a hall, and they had a magician, and tarot reader, a photo booth and lots of booths with games; it was almost like an indoor carnival.

Giving opinions isn't shady. Why would giving opinions ever be shady?
The difference is in the opinion you gave. Which I acknowledged felt weird.
Your other opinions at that point in your ISO were also very wishy washy. I can somewhat understand that as it was early game, but I don't know if that's AI indicative yet and I think I'd need to compare it to a previous game of yours.
Implying that my beef was with you providing opinions just feels like a sour attempt to discredit the abnormality that I pointed out without actually going into it though.

First AI indicative post leads below.
By encouraging the deduction skills, it may actually have been a minor attempt to distance between Kate and SVS.
Next real AI post is the above. So there was a back and forth with Lucy that seemed to indicate SVS was hunting for Lucy's agenda, and upon not seeing it gave a town lean.S~V~S wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 11:37 amNormally this would be OT, but since the host asked, imma call it topical. I've been reading childrens books only and trying to find some that I can margin write for my Granddaughter my fave so far I found was The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse by Mackesy. I adore it's messages.
@Neon Not sure yet but eye was drawn somewhere D 0 but I'm giving it a chance since it was only D 0. So no name mentioning for yet. How about you?
I don't have many thoughts. I think Lucy is town... so like can't wait for round 2 of Neon vs everyone lol
I have no reason to think Lucy is bad, she seems more interested in figuring out the last game to me so far, so I am not really seeing an agenda re this one. Civs generally always have the same agenda, if someone seems to have a different agenda, that's eye catching. But it's early times.
The only things that stuck out to me so far are Rondo calling out the first three people to post besides him and Falcon, but I didn't see his early game in LGM. This kind of thing could be the norm for him so meh. IIRC he pretty much voted for almost everyone every day, or nearly so, in LGM.
Another is Kate talking about how quiet it is with out Golden and Scotty, but not really engaging outside of OT herself. But it's early days, and I know she isn't feeling well irl, although I decided after last game to stop letting that influence me so much. I like to sort her out early becasue she can blindside me, although i can't remember the last time she was bad in a game where I was civ.
A third is Lemonfairy champing at the bit to start towards the end of zero, then falling off. Could be a time zone thing, I never played with them (hi new to me person!). I see you already voted for them; is this a real vote, a vibe vote or a placeholder until something better comes along vote? Do you have experience with them?
Other than that (and most of that is a stretch, tbh) everything else is pretty fluffy.
Hedgey takes on Lemonfairy and Kate are of note.
So the above is the exchange that Quin saw and thought was both wolfy and associated Dennis to Lucy. Now that both had flipped it feels VERY weird, but idk how to gauge it. Like, is it TMI that lead to this conclusion? If it is, it's a very low risk TMI. If it's an actual observation, wouldn't it be strange to have BTSC risk assessment on players you've already town leaned (Lucy)? Like wouldn't have it just made more sense to just argue that Lucy was town so the team pair doesn't make sense?S~V~S wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 4:20 pmThe conversation you had with her about Istanbul/Mujahadeen felt real. ...followed by her attempting to reengage, but you just ignored it. It had an, "OK I'm done with this" feel to it.
I botched what? And what would that have to do with this read? I spent most of LGM thinking you were bad, and Dennis was civ, both of which were true. Although I did misread Sabi and Soneji quite badly. I don't have a sense of either of you yet here (although as I said to Neon, I got no sense of an agenda from you in this game, either). My point about the convo here was that it did not feel like two people with BTSC. With masons in this game, it is not a statement of suspicion. It just means if it comes up later in the game, I might exclude you from being compatible with each other as teammates.

I think, had I been paying attention, I'd have encouraged that we don't let this slot survive as long as it did. TSP's argument for the Kate wagon that others seem to agree with, haven't even been detailed with reasons. It was "I saw a wolfy post, get em" and didn't even have a quote.

I'm over at the in laws so I had a timer set up for 10 min ago. I missed it and everything.

3-7, hit to 2-6 mylo...
Aye, a yeet between Neon/Kate/SVS would do us well for data going into those.

Re: Felt Mafia 3 [Day 4]
I'm starting to think that making a tie and going from there is correct.
[VOTE: Neon] aubergine
No I have not really assessed anything in the last cycle.

Re: Felt Mafia 3 [Day 4]
Effort Values.
Whenever a Pokemon knocks out another pokemon, the knocked out Pokemon provides points called effort values to to the Pokemon that knocked it out.
The amount and type of Effort Values provided is determined by the knocked out Pokemon. For example, knocking out an Azuril will provide 1 hp EV while knocking out a Magikarp will provide 1 speed EV.
A Pokemon can have a total of 510 EVs collected, but only up to 252 in each respective stat. This will often result in stat spreads like 6 HP, 252 Attack, and 252 Speed.
At level 100, every 4 EVs will yield 1 stat point on the Pokemon that collected it.
This is why competitive Pokemon training will often attempt to min max what EVs their Pokemon have collected to meet certain tasks.
A good example is the Speed EV investment on my Dudunsparce, as I've specifically invested 180 Speed EVs and a beneficiary nature so that under the effects of tailwind my Dudunsparce has a speed of exactly 214, out speeding Dragapult, the 2nd fastest Pokemon and the fastest that is commonly used in the VGC format.
How this relates to Mafia is beyond me.

Re: Felt Mafia 3 [Night 3]
One last chime in theory that I'd like for others to assess before EoN:
The Dennis kill following Lucy may have been a means to break down the suspicion presented by Quin that SVS, Dennis and Lucy were a team. If this is the case, SVS needs critical review.

Re: Felt Mafia 3 [Day 3]
If Rondo was correct and a W, there was a strange resistance to votes landing on you in counter.
Rondo may be incorrect or wolves may be asleep.
Only Me and Marmot entertained you as counter. Worth note.

Re: Felt Mafia 3 [Day 3]
(also mind you this isn't an SVS specific thing, I just struggle with multi quotes in the same post once it's past like 2-3 subjects.)DrWilgy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 11:10 pmQuin seemed convinced of a Dennis, Lucy, SVS team.
Reassessing per being wrong on Dennis and Lucy, but perhaps a critical eye on SVS is probably welcome.
I personally feel that I struggle with SVS as my brain malfunctions halfway through a discussion with them. I feel that there's too many subjects of discourse to hold a solid thought processes.

Kk. Same for me, but I like it more than Neon.
Was curious to see if Neon would build with you declaring your intent and me moving on there. Interesting that it didn't.

Re Rondo,
Eh, not the worst yeet. I asked multiple times for Rondo to clear things up for me but they didn't.
Flip is a 50/50 but will hopefully guide us the right direction either way.
