I will say, that Roxy telling me to let SVS off the hook and not addressing the TSP ISO I did had me thinking "oh man, Roxy is gonna be a wolf when I'm done here"

Epi's processes I think are mostly town.

Neon and Lucy votes had at least solving methods applied.

Epi towards Marmot is weird though. Good to keep in mind I think.

So in skim of fingers points, I find they have a towny voice for the most part.

My hangup is on the players they suspect. Falcon/Dennis/Neon for the most part, kinda makes it feel like they are grabbing the LHF while being too confident in other slots.

I would be pretty shocked if Wilgy, Epi or Splints were bad.
I would not be shocked, but somewhat surprised if Roxy was bad, her game here is totally different than LGM. Kate as well, while it's WIFOM, I don't know that I think she'd set up fake suspish on Dennis, or NK him, especially after he pushed back. I felt pretty good about Sabie. She didn't seem to be following anyone and had her own opinions, so a good look for sig to roll ino, imo.

I put Lemonfairy in her own group. She has mostly just breezed in voted and left, hasn't expressed many opinions. Gave one long post mostly town vibereads (it's a big post, I'll spoiler it). She hasn't really engaged. Pretty much NAI, I have no read on her. She has been voting for me, but I don't know why. The PoE group I have reasons to think could go either way. Lemonfairy I really have no read at all.

My PoE group is not really in any order, I tried ordering it but can't. Tony comes in, votes, and says nothing about why. He literally said (over two posts) "Everyone vote for Kate. I saw a kate post I thought was wolfy." OK, lol. The only time he ever made anything other than a one line post was when Roxy asked him to post suspects and he said, "i got news for ya, I'm not getting eliminated and if I do it's town's fault". She never said anything about suspecting him so not sure where that came from. This may be SOP for him, I know I played with him, but don't recall if this is the norm for him, so PoE.

Marmot and Neon, I have more complex thoughts on. Marmot's doing a lot of reads and is prompting a lot of discussion, trying to coax opinions out of people which is a good look. But it bothers me alot that he continued to imply my wordiness was AI when it absolutely is not, and I even pointed it out to him from another game where I was civ that it came up in discussion. I have very little conversational filter, so i over explain to soften things. It's something I do irl, it's a compensation mechanism. I posted the info from the other game, tagged him in it, and he did not respond, but still repeated the "too wordy" thing. When he put up his rainbow, he kinda wishy washy acknowledged it, but gave no other reason for reads. Perhaps I am just annoyed at him, because other than this I mostly townread him.

She has been over-explainy, to which she has also explained this is normal for her (it's been so long since we've played together, I don't remember your exact playstyle), but at times to me it doesn't feel like it accomplishes very much. And Neon is nothing like her last game. Even if i agreed with some of her conclusions there, she was posting data, making reads. She came out like an avenging angel when we elimmed a bad Lucy in LGM, which townlocked her for me. But she made sad faces when we did it here to a Lucy who actually flipped town, but didn't really try and stop it. She could just be less interested, or she could be bad. I am leaning less interested, but I am not actively town reading her as i did in LGM, which is my only experience of her. Also her trying to talk Quin out of divulging his reads during the night, then he was NKed; things that make you go

Rondo I have talked about at somewhat in the Falcon discussion, and the aftermath. Rondo came in, make a fake list and seems to be sticking to it for no reason he has expressed to the point of making fake red checks in a game with no cops . And then anyone who doubts him either should "know his game" or becomes a wolf themselves. I got the impression it was becasue I voted for Falcon, but he seems a little over traumatized by this to the point that I am not sure if it is real or not. He's making "Civvies suck" type posts, but if he's town, he isn't helping with what mostly comes across as rage posting.

Does this still apply in spite of recent "no reason to not TR him?"

you know better than this. If you were like. A person who had never played with Falcon, I'd give you the pass on it. But you don't get that pass cause you know better and you should have some idea on falcon reading. This isn't 2012 and you're not from EpicMafia.

My Falcon read was wrong, but I don't think it was wrong for bad reasons.

Things last game started way faster and I don't know how to really get things rolling.
Last game Golden pulled in town core fast plus we had a tunnel to discuss (Sean vs me) very early. Here we had slot of baked goods and warm fuzzy fluff. Fluffy games are warm and cheery, but can be slow starters until someone is actually eliminated.

I am trying to sort falcon v Wilgy. Do you have an opinion on that?

Well, as others have said, it's been the fluffiest of fluffy threads so far. But I know I have been being quiet, for reasons besides the fluff, although that contributes.

On Day Zero, as soon as the thread opened Rondo was in here posting. Falcon came in a minute later, then over the next 15 minutes or so, me, Kate and Quin came in. There was chatting about the tea poll, bitching about the PG-13 warning yada yada yada.

Rondo proclaimed a bit later that me, Kate and Quin were the bad team,

I'm like, Is this a joke, does he mean it? After the last game I am vaguely terrified of him (only low key kidding here). Everyone else seems to be ignoring it, but I have been waiting for him, and he hasn't come back. It's just weird to me that he picked 3, 4, 5 even if a joke. There could be civ reasons for this, or just random Rondo reasons, and not gonna let myself get derailed by fear of being derailed, if that makes sense.

Re your list, I haven't seen anything to think Splints or Roxy is bad, but nothing to say they're sure town either. Same for Kate. In LGM, I read Kate right, but otherwise was pretty much wrong about most of my friends (I thought Mata was bad early, but I backed off, so that doesn't count imo). Kate is easier to read with Golden in the game (and I recall this going back 10 and more years ago, to other sites). They seem to have an inherent understanding of each other, and I tend to town read them both via the light they reflect off of each other, if that makes sense. She's a little cagier without that. Even in Game 1, where he was bad, he did a really good job of approximating that. So she's a harder read for me without him in thread. And she called me "Little Lady" which counts for hilarity points.

Dennis also seems less engaged than last game, but that day one towncore feel isn't here that was in his first game. He was lucky, I think, to have his first game rand civ into a game like that.

I also think Lucy is town, and to extra annoy her, she's the only person close to town lock for me.

I haven't seen Neons early game. She IS different to LGM, but like Rondo, she subbed in and when you sub in you want to make a civvie splash coming in the door.

You voted for Quin, but he's not on your list. I tend to read him as bad, why did you vote for him.

I am trying to sort the falcon/Wilgy thing. Why does falcon think that after a 48 hour fluff-fest someone should be assured of his affiliation? I'm not 100% sure I understand either side of that 1/1 with him and Wilgy. He seems legit upset about it, and I'm not sure why. I think he plays a fairly blendy civ game on short acquaintance, and he took a lot of suspish for it last game. But Wilgys reasons for suspecting him seem a bit forced to me, although I would imagine a bad Wilgy would just lick people and not bother to list suspects at all.

This does not appear to be present so far.

Neon has seemed to drastically shift meta to come out guns blasting. Neon is a player who is good at finding town and going from there... Not this behavior we see now.

In some capacity, I would call it the old norm because no townie would want to die (and thus lose).

In this case, I think lucy is being resistant to being readable in general, not necessarily not being townread.
Mostly, I would agree with that; I am going with the "new norm" and calling townreads, but lord, it's not easy for me. And I took some flak in Game 1 because I didn't like doing it.

But yeah, on short acquaintance she seems to like cultivating an air of not quite mystery, but that's the closest I can come to what I think.

@DrWilgy I am tiptoeing a bit, since I am not sure what I think. I also attributed town actions to both of you.

If you were bad, I doubt you would have come in here all serious when people expect you not to. And I thought falcon legit looked upset by it. When he sussed me in LGM, he looked not unlike he looks here. I tend to think stuff like this on Day One tends civ/civ more often than not. Because I also don't see why you'd expect him specifically to be hunting when pretty much no one was, and why he was so sure you could not possibly misread him.

So I'm trying to sort it, becasue I can see it both ways.

The difference is in the opinion you gave. Which I acknowledged felt weird.

Your other opinions at that point in your ISO were also very wishy washy. I can somewhat understand that as it was early game, but I don't know if that's AI indicative yet and I think I'd need to compare it to a previous game of yours.

Implying that my beef was with you providing opinions just feels like a sour attempt to discredit the abnormality that I pointed out without actually going into it though.

Normally this would be OT, but since the host asked, imma call it topical. Last non fiction book I read that I really enjoyed was "I am Not a Serial Killer" by Dan Wells. It's part of a trilogy and I plan to buy the others after the holidays.

I have no reason to think Lucy is bad, she seems more interested in figuring out the last game to me so far, so I am not really seeing an agenda re this one. Civs generally always have the same agenda, if someone seems to have a different agenda, that's eye catching. But it's early times.

The only things that stuck out to me so far are Rondo calling out the first three people to post besides him and Falcon, but I didn't see his early game in LGM. This kind of thing could be the norm for him so meh. IIRC he pretty much voted for almost everyone every day, or nearly so, in LGM.

Another is Kate talking about how quiet it is with out Golden and Scotty, but not really engaging outside of OT herself. But it's early days, and I know she isn't feeling well irl, although I decided after last game to stop letting that influence me so much. I like to sort her out early becasue she can blindside me, although i can't remember the last time she was bad in a game where I was civ.

A third is Lemonfairy champing at the bit to start towards the end of zero, then falling off. Could be a time zone thing, I never played with them (hi new to me person!). I see you already voted for them; is this a real vote, a vibe vote or a placeholder until something better comes along vote? Do you have experience with them?

Other than that (and most of that is a stretch, tbh) everything else is pretty fluffy.

Next real AI post is the above. So there was a back and forth with Lucy that seemed to indicate SVS was hunting for Lucy's agenda, and upon not seeing it gave a town lean.

It just means if it comes up later in the game, I might exclude you from being compatible with each other as teammates.

So the above is the exchange that Quin saw and thought was both wolfy and associated Dennis to Lucy. Now that both had flipped it feels VERY weird, but idk how to gauge it. Like, is it TMI that lead to this conclusion? If it is, it's a very low risk TMI. If it's an actual observation, wouldn't it be strange to have BTSC risk assessment on players you've already town leaned (Lucy)? Like wouldn't have it just made more sense to just argue that Lucy was town so the team pair doesn't make sense?

Effort Values.

Whenever a Pokemon knocks out another pokemon, the knocked out Pokemon provides points called effort values to to the Pokemon that knocked it out.

I personally feel that I struggle with SVS as my brain malfunctions halfway through a discussion with them. I feel that there's too many subjects of discourse to hold a solid thought processes.

Eh, not the worst yeet. I asked multiple times for Rondo to clear things up for me but they didn't.

Flip is a 50/50 but will hopefully guide us the right direction either way.
