I know I missed @rundontwalk, but curious if you've gotten the chance to go to a lot of cool country shows, being from Texas?

I've seen Robert Earl Keen, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Billy Joe Shaver all for free cause my hometown puts on free concerts in the summer at the city park amphitheatre

1. I love Austin! My brother lives in Pleugerville. Last time I went to this badass indoor rock climbing place near Downtown. I also love the state park there

2. Big Bend is apparently the Crown Jewel of Texas. I haven't been, but just go spend a week there.

Yes! The nutrionist has got her on a really good diet and has helped her lose weight through eating more organic food, etc.

My girlfriend and I went shopping across the border in Mexico. Bought tortillas, shot glasses, etc. It was my first time being out of the country and I was pumped lol.

I'm in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas atm for Spring Break and it's a lot of fun so far. Probably my favorite area of the state yet. Border towns are fun and kinda sketchy sometimes and it's exciting.

If you wanted to convert someone to country music, what's the first song you'd recommend they listen to?

1. I think it's too soon to tell re: Obama. But I think he was alright in some areas (esp. Environmental stuff, equal rights), though I wish he had been bolder. And I wasn't a fan of his foreign policy. I'm not sure we'll ever have any great presidents again.

2. Lincoln, John Muir, Shane MacGowan (:p), some of the great explorers like Ibn Battuta

3. I liked it! "Some balls roll, some balls hang" in the same song as a reference to Ross Perot. What's not to like?

1. I think Texans go overboard with the state pride thing, which is the worst thing. Best thing is probably our interesting diversity of people and landscapes.

2. I have not but I have played the song during Mafia games to get me in that #ballstothewall mood.

1. Because I've always been interested in politics and policy. Most of my heroes went to law school, lol. I wanna be a public defender which in America are people appointed by the court to defend poor people who can't afford a defense.

2. I didn't vote :o. I regret that. I just assumed Texas would go the way it did and didn't bother.

3. Hehehe. I think she's more adorable. She's great. We're leaving tomorrow to her home town and I'm meeting all her family, though I've met her parents before.
