DrWilgy's references to Floyd...

I have two clear thoughts so far. The first is that I can see a scenario where Dr Wilgy is bad and on the Cabal and they set up his 'death' knowing the night wouldn't count for cred. My impression from TH, and it was backed up somewhat when I asked about it in the thread, is that this is exactly the kind of gambit Wilgy would enjoy. It seems up his alley.
I am no longer intoxicated :D

Golden, how many times have we been on a team together? What makes you think this is up my alley? XD XD
You pretty just answered him by saying, "Wifom?" When, really, he was saying that this is totally something you would do. Also, it doesn't have to be up your alley or have been your idea, even. It could have been a scheme thought out by others on your team, and you cooperated with it. How would it not be up your alley, by the way?

And why did you ask people to night kill you? And why did you stop after night 6.1?

It also makes sense why LC would have told us late what the results of the first non-night were. Someone on your team reminded him.
Idk... Seems too simple... My schemes are more fun! Besides if I really wanted to have some clear, why would I ask people to kill me, rather than go with the flow? Just seems like too much work for something so insignificant. Also, why me rather than a teammate if that was the plan? Why wouldn't we save that play for when someone else needs an EZ clear.... Yes! This is why it's not my plan. Too many holes. Too many flaws. I wouldn't accept the plan even if it was my teamates.

I wanted to die because I didn't wanna play at the time... Better! I didnt wanna catch up DX

I do enjoy the speculation regarding the delay. Y'know... Considering this isn't the only time it has happened. Was this speculation genuine though... That is the questionoly.

Linki - Timmer, IDK bae. If those coincidences or gambits were forced to get me somewhat "cleared" as others described, it seems to be doing a pretty shitty job XD
In response to your wifom switcheroo goodness, I do think you would do it. I'm not sure your teammates would give you the chance to "accept" it, as I don't know who they are, but I know sometimes folks run with ideas before waiting to hear other views, why wouldn't you just ask for a replacement if you didn't want to play, I'm guessing that LC was reminded at other times about things he forgot to post (but your death is the only one connected to a baddie team, and why would anyone else necessarily want the result public, other than those who carried out the kill--and how would anyone other than the person that made it happen know that the original result was supposed to be in the post), why would the baddie team even care unless the result was significant, and yes the speculation is genuine.

And to your linkitis: sometimes plans don't go as planned.
Actually I replaced in! Also asking for a replacement isn't how I work.

I swapped in thinking I would have more time than what I did. Luckily I have recently regained the time.

I'm not sure about the floyd bonfire. Floyd and I were on the same team during TH and he never asked for a replacement even though he had some stoof to deal with. Seeing him ask for replacement now makes me think he has no commitment or team.

Then, when I originally asked the two of you what you all thought of each other, I believe you started having a mild back and forth and then boom, chums.

So Turnip Head, are you telling us that MM is not the bad Doctor? You think it was Epig?

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 7

Entertain this thought.

Scum team 1, has something dirty on Floyd and are trying to get rid of him to earn the partial civ credit that comes with lynching an opponent. The case on Floyd is recurring and has numerous players focusing on it at the almost exclusion of any discourse elsewhere.

Scum team 2, are basically riding the juliets is scum wagon hard and just following along without putting in much effort at all. The same in reverse, though I have reason to believe that the vocal proponents of this one are town.

Both are scum, opposing teams.

Those who are pushing the Floyd lynch are at the very least prominently represented by juliets scum teammates.

Floyds teammates are the quieter ones agreeing with the juliets lynch.

The way Wilgy jokingly jumped off juliets lynch on two polls now just because I made a passing remark make him an almost certain scum teammate of juliets.

Either that or he has some kind of bastard role that causes him to just do whatever someone tells him to do every time.

Yes truly if you are scum I have sincere doubts that you are on her team. :haha:

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 7

Golden wrote:@Mac - are you making an assumption about juliets' role in that statement or not?
Negative.

The post I made immediately after my non lynch was me being not truthful because at the time I didn't want to make a point of my status. Pondering it though it is in the best interests of the town that they are aware that the lynch did not occur because of something relevant to me, not to juliets. I do have suspicion that juliets does have a way to, or did have a way to influence a vote count as per what occurred the previous day, but she was nowhere near being lynched yesterday and she knew it.

linki: Of course I am up for it.

I don't think I really need to answer that question now anyway.

I will repeat myself for the benefit of the scum player who is trying to drive her agenda without actually making an effort to read the explanation I already just gave.

The lion's share of my content up until end of day was pushing the juliets lynch, as it has been each day. I believe I have made it clear without explicitly using words to such effect why I believe her to be scum. I began to receive votes that put my close enough to juliets for me to understand that her lynch was not to be. Well before our vote tally's were six a piece. I already knew she was not going to be lynched.

Me receiving votes was a positive thing for the civ win con but the positive impact of votes on me has now been exhausted and are no longer useful to the civ win con. I cannot diverge exactly why/how they were positive, but I expect there are a few players who know why.

When it became obvious to me that juliets was not going to be lynched. I went back to vote harvesting. Simples.

But, alas, that is no longer the case. Ergo I will no longer be requesting.
Juliets would have been lynched yesterday if you hadn't done what you did, plain and simple.

Linki- I find Juliets and Floyd at the top of my suspicion list. I'd be fine with either of them going, I really have no preference for which goes first. The timmer suspicion I think has some merit to it as well but I feel better about the other two. Maybe I'm just not being clear enough about my suspicions or why I suspect them but I'm not just jumping on any bandwagon that comes along here.
No, she would not have. I already explained this. As soon as I had two votes on me her lynch was off the table.

Golden wrote:I don't know what you are, but I would not be surprised if you were a wizard.

Your suspicion on Sorsha could be genuine (and your last post (linki, second to last post) makes it sound genuine) but your first post about it sounded really forced to me. If you really think its the juliet half of your behaviour that is taking suspicion, then I think you have a skewed perspective of the impact of your days of asking people to vote for you on yesterdays lynch. You can't ask people to vote for you and then absolve any responsibility for their choice.
Perhaps it sounded forced because you didn't notice that my previous post eyeing her for bloodlust was actually not a joke, ergo my post was not so much forced, as a sharp reaction to a double up scum tell. I do realise that for me to now change my gamestyle is going to be hard to take, but it is what it is. My entire gamestyle up until today was revolving around doing my best to harvest votes but at the same time scum hunt.

Both times she posted the "I'd be okay with this other random lynch" type post it pinged me. The second time it was about me, so it obviously had a bit of an OMGUS effect on me, which probably made my reaction even more acute.

Re: Mafia: A World Reborn Game Thread - Day 7

Golden wrote:Wtf Mac - someone gets an official scum read for you because they say 'they don't like what you did yesterday'.

Stop playing you had no control over the votes yesterday... you ASKED for them. That is not having no control over them. That's the exact opposite. You have gone out of your way for days upon days asking for votes and finally you got some. Why should anyone like what you did yesterday.

You earn an official scum read from me - for turning someone saying 'they don't like what you did today' into 'You don't like that I heavily pushed the lynch of juliets'. Because I can't think of a more disingenuous interpretation of what part of your behaviour yesterday felt anti-town that that, and you know it.
My apologies if I wasn't thorough enough in my explanation. The fellow players in this game are not my children Golden. They have control over their own actions. I do not decide their behaviour. Me requesting votes does not force their hand. I did not self vote. I am not responsible for there being no lynch those that voted for me are. Do you believe me to be some kind of wizard Golden?

I genuinely feel like sorsha's last two posts are scummy. One strong scum read but being okay with or not standing in the way of two other lynches, that to me is scummy. Not having a significant desire or communicating one yet being okay with the lynch of players who are heavily under scrutiny is the hallmark of a scum vote about to be placed on a wagon for no reason. I have seen that kind of comment from scum too many times to count. I have seen it from town, but often enough from scum for it to be a documented scum tell for me.

No, I do not "know it" as you so delicately put. Yesterday I without question, as I did the day before, heavily pushed the lynch of juliets. It was the vast majority of what I did. Towards the end of the day votes started piling onto me, I decided that it would be a good day to harvest some votes so I didn't push back. I didn't force people to do it. They started unprovoked yesterday. Granted I had gone out of my way to request them in previous days. I have my reasons for requesting votes, they are no longer necessary. I won't be requesting votes anymore because they are now counterproductive to town. Previously they were not. That is all I will say on the matter.

That was my plan. I am fine with a Floyd lynch too though.
I'd rather lynch Mac before Floyd.
I wouldn't stand in the way of a Mac lynch either but I'm not so sure about him as I am about the others. I don't like what he did yesterday but I'm not sure it makes him bad.
:haha:

Let me get this straight. You don't like that I heavily pushed the lynch of juliets (who I, and most sane people believe is scum) and are blaming me for others voting me? Like I had any choice in the matter?

Okay, your last two posts have earned you an official scum read.
