No, I was totally convinced I caught a bad guy and he just took a giant shit on it by breaking what I thought were unwritten rules of the game. So now I feel stupid.

I remember on RYM once I swore on my daughter's life I was civ. I got lynched anyway. I was civ. It was decided afterwards that saying shit like that goes against the spirit of the game entirely.

I'm not going to hold you to buying me a million dollar mansion, but you saying that really just made me feel stupid. Like if we're allowed to just play the game that way then what's the point. Now I don't see why/how you would say that if you were bad. Because you took it outside the confines of the game and are forcing me to question your actual personal ethics to maintain my read, which is unfair. I can't do that. If I'm clearly scared shitless, why is me saying 1v1 and I'm ok being lynched?

I'm not worried in the slightest. Literally no worry. In fact, I would say I'm much more scared by the prospect that this fight DOESN'T end with one of us being lynched tomorrow I'm a very busy guy, who feels completely at peace being lynched right now, and I don't want to have to put effort into this feud day after day.

But, if anyone wants to look at the underlined bits, you know... Mac's absolute security in the idea that I couldn't possibly believe in my case and that no-one else could either because he is so obviously civilian.

Anyone know what it is that Mac has done that makes his civilianity so obvious? Mac what about you, what can you point to that makes it so obvious that you are a civilian that no-one could possibly believe you are bad, it's just so impossible that you are bad. But me, the person who actually caught 2 baddies? 99% chance I'm their teammate.

Calling for 1v1 and saying you're okay with being lynched isn't indicative of that being true. It's the opposite. You are exactly worried about that and are trying to make us feel like you aren't. Me being lynched over your case isn't even a consideration to me because it's hogwash.

I defended bcornett because he looked genuine and was nowhere near my radar. Your case against him was something that did not even occur to me and right up until his flip I had no idea. If I was his teammate and I was trying to bus Enrique (his other teammate) and it became apparent that bcornett was getting lynched instead... I don't even know what I would have done. Probably what I did in fairness.

He has Enrique as confirmed scum nearly at the very start of the game base on entirely bullsuit reasons, and he never lets up, pursuing it with such certainty. I never thought the case that was being built on Enrique on day zero had much merit, it was so tenuous... but it makes sense to me coming from someone who was technically on his team, knew he was bad, but had no btsc with him... and Greedo was stealing his credits too. Simon, he was completely happy to see the lynch go down - but really critical of people while it was in flight. Such an easy way to come out slamming others after the fact. I don't like it all.

And I'll add to his attitude towards those three - Mac said he was anxious and afraid of coming after me because I can be 'mean and belittling'. I think he thought he was aiming straight at a weak spot, there, to get me to back off or piss me off or make ME feel little. In reality, all I see is someone who I don't think is the slightest bit afraid of me coming at him in a way that could be considered 'mean and belittling', and hopefully buying the goodwill of others who see me that way in the process. What Russ pointed out is that Glorfindel has pegged us as aligned as civs. It just puts himself in contrast to the names he listed in a way that I could only see scum doing. It also shows that he's too occupied with weaving a web of made up stuff about us being too blind to see reason instead of noticing that in actuality Golden, MP and I haven't seen eye to eye at all.
