I was definitely on to Bullzeye and I had a mild sense that gleam was being too nice to me, but DrWilgy had me completely fooled. He gets my vote.

The reason I'm not voting for MM is because like you said, everyone else is on board with him. It shouldn't be everyone if he's actually bad.

Quin, you didn't mention a single alignment-indicative thing in your entire post about me. That's the kind of attitude that's given mafia the upper hand for most of this game, not gut reads.

You mention right after that statement that I've been stuck on the same group of people for most of the game, gee, maybe that's because I don't have much influence over the thread and if anything up until very recently people have been doing the opposite of what I've recommended? If I had influence than the small group of people that I've been suspecting for ages now would've been lynched as opposed to civ after civ.

You two were the last two on the sig wagon. There was no reason for either of you to wait that long to vote for him if either of your votes were genuine. Don't pretend that I'm simply criticizing the reasons behind your votes or your play style when I made no such implication. I said that your votes are disingenuous. You don't have to put words in my mouth to deny it, and the fact that you did isn't helping you at all.

None of his votes have been contrived or disingenuous. Not really, I don't find you suspicious and town needs all the help we can get right now.
Seriously, can we lynch at least one of the Metalmarsh89, sig, and Bullzeye group? I said they were mafia a (real-time) week ago and not one of them has been lynched. Instead it's just been horribly justified lynch after horribly justified lynch and town has yet to learn its lesson.
linki - My response would be that your heart is full of shit. I would deem actual reason to be suspecting people for things that are actually alignment-indicative for once in the history of mafia. Take motivation into account instead of just "oh this is peculiar, that must be bad herp derp" and all that.

In fact the reason I said "cheers for thoughtful analysis" as opposed to "cheers for your thoughtful analysis" is because I'm not making fun of any particular player's attempt to use analysis to catch baddies, I'm making fun of how the past THREE mislynches in a fucking row have been inspired by "thoughtful analysis" and each of which have completely ignored actual reason. Can we stop navel-gazing ourselves into an early grave and follow our heart for once?

Re: Day 4: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
That's exactly what I think he's doing. The civilian MM that I've come to know is much more vocal and much more carefree with what he says, not worrying about the amount of flack he'll get for various statements and actions, similar to myself actually. I think he was saved yesterday, if you look at his vote record it's pretty damning as well, although I don't think that vote records by themselves should sway anyone to be suspicious of someone.agleaminranks wrote:What's your thought on MM? He hasn't made a whole lot of posts so far in this game. I could see him being a lackadaisical Mafia member trying to skirt attention, but otherwise I don't know. The lynch results have been shit so far. I don't want to risk one more bad vote.a2thezebra wrote:I'm not tunneling anyone. I'm the one who opposed the horrible last two lynches. We need to lynch Metalmarsh89.
Would you rather I pretended to have an extremely thought-out detailed account of his actions in the thread and why that makes him bad so everyone could scroll past it and treat it with no more interest than what I've already said? My suspicion of MM is simple and I'm not going to pretend that it's complex and intricate to try to win more people over.insertnamehere wrote:With a comprehensive and flawless argument like that, how could I say no?a2thezebra wrote:We need to lynch Metalmarsh89.
Who am I tunneling?rabbit8 wrote:You helped with the bass lynch by voting for him then not saving him? You really felt the need to make this post because... ? Sounds like you're distancing your defense you never made from, what? Your vote of him that day? This is a weird defense for something you where never accused of..... I don't like it.a2thezebra wrote:For the record, I acknowledge some responsibility in Bass' lynch. I should've fought against it, but I was not online when Bass took the lead and before then I did not think he would get the lead. I should've fought against it anyway but what's done is done.
I don't understand this post so I'm going to imply that there's no reason for it to exist and that this person is suspicious because I don't see where they're coming from.
No you're relying on not getting your teammate lynched with meta bullshit, I think. By saying you think he is bad you're covering you're bases, I think.a2thezebra wrote:I'm not relying on meta reads, I'm relying(?) on my failure to read a particular player.leetic wrote:Why are you relying on meta reads? Keep this post in mind if sig flips scum.a2thezebra wrote:I also think that sig is bad but I've been wrong about sig too many times to put my vote there...for now.
If he was my teammate I wouldn't be on the fence with him. I'd either be defending him hard or attacking him with everything I've got. Unlike the last two garbage lynches, I will not oppose a sig lynch even though I won't contribute to it with a vote myself, so I'm trying to keep him from getting lynched then I'm doing a shit job of it.
So, no reason. I couldn't find one you made regarding MM.a2thezebra wrote:Would you rather be lynched instead?sig wrote:Is there a reason to lynch MM?
That response was re-affirming that I am not opposed to lynch sig, stop misrepresenting me. You don't actually think that that response was meant to be a direct and honest answer to the question so the fact that you're treating it like one tells me that you're full of shit with your entire contrived suspicion of me that has come out of nowhere.
Still no reason.a2thezebra wrote:Let's lynch Metalmarsh89 already.
It was stated earlier. You've been extremely careful not to reference it.
Yes, yes you are.a2thezebra wrote:I'm not tunneling anyone. I'm the one who opposed the horrible last two lynches. We need to lynch Metalmarsh89.
I admitted that I'm partially responsible for Bass' lynch because I didn't oppose it vocally enough, but I did oppose it. How was switching my vote from one candidate to another, neither of which were Bass, relevant to how much I opposed Bass? You're seeming more and more desperate to misrepresent me and at this point it's extremely suspicious. If MM flips bad then I'm coming after you.rabbit8 wrote:a2thezebra wrote:I'm not tunneling anyone. I'm the one who opposed the horrible last two lynches. We need to lynch Metalmarsh89.
And you never opposed the Bass lynch, you claimed you did, but you didn't.
You switched you're vote at the end of the day, that's not opposing it.
You never opposed either lynch. You threatened sig with a lynch. But oppose, no.
That's lying, who does that?
I think maybe you're on to something there. Who was the night update post consistently referencing again? It might be that person. Maybe we should look at their reads and see if mafia targeted them because they were on to something.sig wrote: Maybe the mafia targeted our bulletproof civ last night and that is why there was no kill.

I'd like to hear from the people that voted Bass because I don't understand why they suspected him. It's not a criticism of them, but their actions. Is that not cool or what?Bullzeye wrote:My comment was clearly a joke, yours just looks like you're directly criticising the people who voted Bass. You don't even frame it as an accusation, just that they should have known he wasn't bad.

You mean like this attitude?Bullzeye wrote:Also I don't like the attitude of this post, it's like "Oh I'm so clever look at all these idiots whose opinion I disagree with".a2thezebra wrote:That was a bad lynch. Bass did nothing to indicate that he was mafia and everyone who voted for him should've known that.
I was not trying to come off as clever just for voicing my disappointment with what I feel was a bad lynch. Given the flip, it's not really an opinion either. If you're going to be hypocritical (and with game-irrelevant criticism to boot) at least make sure the post you're criticizing qualifies.Bullzeye wrote:Probably not, probably, no.a2thezebra wrote:Metalmarsh89, sig, and Bullzeye are mafia.
1/3. Sorry, you need at least 40% for a pass. 33.3% is a failing grade.
