You don't know me very well and you will find out that your gut where I am concerned is wrong.
Stronger read now, if you were town you would've questioned why that post seemed like a day post when it is night. Instead you are just concerned with my read.

Hmmmm....re-evaluating my reads at the moment. I'm biased against a scum read on Llama because to me he acts scummy all of the time, almost literally every post he makes. SVS's defenses have sounded genuine to me so far. Canucklehead I'm unsure about. I'll see where the day goes before I make any conclusions.

Re: Day 5 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Point 1 isn't meta-based. Point 2 is meta-based regarding Made but not regarding you. Point 3 isn't meta-based. Point 4 isn't meta-based.
Keterman wrote:Canucklehead, I don't understand why I'm expected to post a case on SVS when everything I've found scummy about her I've pointed out already. If anything that post led me to the conclusion of you being her teammate more likely, although heaven forbid one of you two start claiming that the bulk of my case rested on you being on the same team if the other is revealed to be town. But to remind the rest of town:

1. Opportunistic vote for MR, covered by a claim of putting faith in one of MY overconfident, unwarranted reads, and subsequent disappointment in me after the flip, taking no responsibility for her own vote.

2. Sloppy, rehearsed defenses and a derailment towards Made to distract from the case against her, leading toward a civilian lynch that could've easily been prevented. Again I will say that anyone in Misfits should have known that Made was town in this game. SVS's sarcastic response to my initial statement of that post was ironic because without the orange font, it could easily interpreted as favoring my argument. Yes, an enthusiastic teenager Mafia will not be expected to change his game up, and it's funny that that would be your counterargument because it was clear before the lynch that he didn't change his game up at all. Did you think his plan was to act the same way he did in Misfits and get away with it as scum? If he was scum, then it would make more sense that he would act differently. But he acted the same, and yet didn't rely on meta as a defense, unlike you.

3. The classic pitying act. "Woe is me, the rest of town just can't handle my godlike reads, I have no choice but to give up. See? Only town would do this, therefore instead of actually putting up a good defense for myself I would use this gambit to attempt to show you something that only a town would do. A sad, sad, town. That's me. I'm town." Although I don't give SVS enough credit here. She disguised her I'm-town-and-I-give-up act as something else, and was that she...wanted to wait to defend herself? I don't know, but points for originality, even though I can't begin to imagine how that's managed to fool anyone.

4. Not following through with the classic pitying act. SVS has continued to post, and has done so because she realized that her act wasn't as convincing as it seemed before she tried it. Her defenses? Meta, as I mentioned earlier. "See, you guys know that I wouldn't be playing like this if I were scum, therefore I'm not scum! Ta-daaaa! don't lynch me plz"

Also I'm alarmed at how little comments there were regarding my thoughts on Canuck.
And now point 5, a grain of salt: Why say "I'm not bad" rather than "I'm good/civvie/town"?

This post is very scummy. You want to change the course of the day yet provide no explanation as to why or how we should listen to your suggestion. Why isn't SVS the way to go? How is her behavior genuine (telling us to reread her isn't nearly enough, I provided points as to how it's NOT genuine, why not provide points to the contrary?)? Why do the ones pushing her have your eyes? (and in your opinion, as if there are other opinions as to where your eyes should be directed)

Just a really forced post all-around.

I assumed that your text was scrambled and it was a force vote. As for Canuck, I'm honestly not sure at all. Defending me would give her a ton of civvie cred upon my death.
That's not the point. She defended you...yet voted for you. She thinks (or more likely knows) that you're town...yet is contributing to your lynch. What town motivation could there possibly be for succumbing to a mislynch? There's no way around it, she has to be scum.

Anywho, I'm kind of in the same mindset as bwt on this one: I defended Made for a while b/c I thought his zany style seemed like crazy civ Made from misfits, and I legit thought a lovers scenario was a possibility...but Made denying that, and the inability of the thread to look at/talk about anything without it always coming back to Made means I'm willing to go along with the GroupThink here and vote for him. I do legitimately believe he's a civ, but I have no way of being certain, no way of proving that to anyone, and honestly very little chance of changing anyone's mind. And I'm not so proud that I'm unwilling to defer to people who feel much more strongly that he's bad than I do thy he's good. So  I'll vote Made.

Linki: whooooaaa. I left this response sitting I posted for many hours. Posting anyway, reading linki later
So you were down to lynch someone who you think is town just because everyone else is voting for him? And you wrote this post before he had as many votes as he does now? You're scum.

Why would SVS, an experienced mafia player, put her faith in the confidence of a player who had been almost completely inactive up until that very point, and with no evidence or solid reasoning to back up that confidence? Because she was looking for an opportunity to find a counterwagon so her teammate doesn't end up lynched. The obviously fake "awwww but Keterman was so confident" post after MR flipped town seals the deal.

Seriously, have a thorough read of the MR wagon. Some votes may be civilians not knowing what's best and jumping on the wagon because they liked it slightly better than Made's, but in S-V-S's case, there is no excuse. That was a scummy vote if there ever was one. I've got my eye on everyone who voted MR before juliets' vote, as well as juliets herself. Anyone who was pretending that my posts made sense at that time was clearly trying to pull the strings, and it worked. Town reads on bwt and Dana.
