hej hej, don't you think this is a little bit untrue? sig wasn't even a point of conversation before you came in and built a case on him.
I mean it's not like you bounced in and single-handedly lynched him all on your own, and I don't think making a case against him by itself was a bad look, but it seems like you're underselling your involvement in the event a little bit.
I came into a game in the worst phase possible and tried to contribute something useful.

If you can't see it that way, I got nothing more to say.

lapluie is excused for her suspicions because she hasn't played any previous games with me.

But here's some dunya scum meta for you: scum dunya would have latched onto one of the two bandwagons...three votes each, so easy for me. so painless. I could have built cases and made it seem like an informed choice. TSP? Are you kidding me? I could have made a 100 reasons why he was fishy and weird. Also you think I save teammates if I was a scummer? hahaha. I am the queen of bussing teammates as early as Day 0-Day 1 and bussed my two-teammates to victory in the famous Loneliness and Cheese on RYM that Jay speaks so unfondly of. :workit: Call me scum, but don't insult me by saying dunya would jump into a game with a neutral read on her only to SAVE a suspicious teammate. That makes me :disappoint:

speedchuck wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2018 10:34 pm The Sig lynch was bad.
Dunya is bad for starting it.

1. Sig is always wishy-washy
2. Waffley behavior is a textbook EZ suspicion to put on mislynches, when it can really go both ways. Town can be genuinely uncertain as easily as mafia can be nervous
3. Sig couldn't defend easily, and this is a mostly brand-new suspicion. That's the reason I'd rather have gone with a D1 case. Now we're back to square one.
4. Sig's lynch gained momentum too easily. If half the scumteam wasn't on it, I will eat a Kansas CD.

Dunya replaced in, and her first action was to go through the thread, pick the easiest mislynch possible, and drive it home while Sig couldn't defend himself and no better cases could be made. Screw that.

Re: Mortal Kombat Mafia [Day 3]

also to give speed some credit, he was playing with a townie mind-frame, which he later admitted he regretted doing (in Mountains). But he was still independent.

That's why I welcomed other cases on speed. I don't want to be tinfoiling.

To accuse me of "pushing bad trains" is misrepresentation apart from the back and forth I had with Quin (which I'm sure you're not unfamiliar with, considering you do it literally all the time).

Speed, Quin.

I explained needlessly why I was pinged by Quin, if you still thing my ping was unwarranted then tell me why he's town.

speed is another case. I just feel he's acting more like Mountain Mafia speed than Pirates speed. He was anti-town in both. I haven't played a conventional Town game with speed yet, thus it's harder to read him. I've read his previous Town games which have been really brief and not provided me with much meta or clues on how Town speed behaves.

good feelings
dunya
Glorfindel
Jackofhearts2005
JaggedJimmyJay
Kylemii
lapluie
Long Con
MacDougall - Lynched Day 1 - Scorpion
rabbit8
sig - Lynched Day 2 - Kabal
Sloonei - Killed Night 1

neutral feelings
Dave - who?
Dom (seriously? he's been inactive in almost every game I have played in. :disappoint: )
DrWilgy - I have cases for and against Wilgy, leaning more town, haven't made my mind up yet but probably town.
Elohcin* I don't think Eloh is scum, but she might be an independent. She really hasn't pinged me so much, but that's because she has been pretty quiet and unlike her games in Mountains or Vocaroo. Has she been an independent before on here?
Made - unmemorable? leaning town, but really unmemorable.
Quin too many weirdness to be scum atm. I don't know. Probably town tbh.
TonyStarkPrime - not sure where to place him. he's a real neutral read for me atm. I liked his response to speed's accusations against him. Put him slightly higher up in my neutrals

bad feelings
Marmot - holding back, something seems amiss.
nutella - reminds me of search for quin nutella
Simon - not impressed by his contributions.
speedchuck - feels like he's trying too hard to look town. It's not appearing effortless. Like hey "look at what I'm trying to do". Could be scum or loner. I have to ISO today to see how I feel because some posts even those directed towards me look townie posts, but I'm very wary of speed so...
novaselinenever - not sure how I feel about tightlipped players. Reminds me of RadicalFuzz last game. Don't like it, leaning anti-town.

I lost interest in your sig case as soon as you picked up his calling LC pingy. That's not a contradiction, it's a progression of read.
It was not a progression, it was alone, no follow up, thrown in there and nothing to substantiate it or develop the "ping"
Have you played with him much? This sort of thing isn't unnatural for him to do imo.

Quin wrote: Wed Jan 17, 2018 9:19 pm I don't like how sig managed to become a runaway wagon at the 11th hour when 90 percent of the thread couldn't even talk about it properly.
Because lynching birdwithteeth11 0 posts would have been likeable
It'd be better than lynching someone who showed up.
I won't link to his comments during Night 2 (now).

I'll let everyone else be the judge of whether or not Quin basically implied as best as he could he wouldn't hop on the sig bandwagon given our difficult posting restrictions (for a stance, a reason) and how post sig reveal he immediately excused himself and gave a reason to why he didn't hop on board. It felt too calculated to me and unnatural, sorry.
1. I was disagreeing with your case. You knew that was happening. You told someone else that was what I was doing.
2. I told you I didn't like the case. But 9.90 isn't "shutting down the case". My read on sig was neutral. was comparing my read on sig to my read on lapluie.
3. I told you why I didn't hop on board because you accused me right out of the gate.

Would lunch with $3.00 plain ice cream.
1. How the hell did I know you were only disagreeing with the ~case~ and not disagreeing with the fact I thought sig was scum? :mafia:
2. You said you told me "I didn't like the case". Where? Where did you say that? I didn't know you were comparing your read on sig to read on lapluie tbf. I thought you thought lapluie was scum.
3. I do that often when there's a bandwagon and people who refuse to join so early in the game. The strong stances always ping me, you can go through my past games and see a few times where I've done that. It's a natural thought sequence for me, and has netted me a few scum in the past. I have no intention of changing it.

I'm ignoring you this day phase Quin. Sorry. Not being rude but don't care about your case on me and I won't be pushed into another tunnel of defence like every game.

I'd rather spend energies elsewhere.

(Also doing that burns me out from the games and juliets suffers)

Yea. I think Wilgy is the sort of player who would see Mac's lynch as an opportunity to kill Sloonei. Who would suspect Wilgy, who's named 2 townies his biggest scumspects? Who would suspect Wilgy, who tunnelled Sloonei so hard all of day 1 and night 1 phase?

You're saying those things make him look better because he wouldn't do it. I'm saying he would definitely do it (as would Long Con or Epi) as a summer.
Wilgy is not an Epi or a Long Con. The same rules don't apply.
Says who? I think Wilgy has plenty of "dgaf" attitude and spunk.

just for completeness I feel that this post belongs in dunya's summary/in response to quin saying she's misrepresenting him. in this post he agrees with glorf that the case on sig is weak (not necessarily that he thinks sig is town, but this does sound like he is arguing against the sig lynch)
Am I disagreeing with the sig lynch or am I strongly opposed to the sig lynch?
How would you have acted out the latter in the circumstances, Quin?
I'd have been more vocal overall.
Provide me with an example of where you were more vocal about anyone and anything in that day phase and how it is vhastly different than what transpired with sig please.
No.

I rest my case.

If you ARE town, calling people who suspect you bad isn't a very good strategy to win the game.
