Just do what I do and play exclusively on mobile. Even in Paris if you find any available WiFi you should be able to use your phone on airplane mode.

I'm from Sweden, so actually my phone and internet work just fine in France too but I don't usually phone mafia. And I post a lot. I won't have time at all really and I'm no lurker. I'd be really pissed if I got mislynched because I couldn't post enough. If it starts this week, like tomorrow, that's another story. But missing the first 2 phases is really bad.
